Automatic update ?

    After losing all my progress after last update, I had made sure I had automatic updates turned off. Last night I had a longer than normal “downloading assets”. This morning I power cycled my phone and ABT immediately began updating afterward. After update, automatic updates was on(which I turned back off). I have powercycled my phone at least 5 times since release and did 1 hard reset Saturday when it (phone) wouldn’t respond and it didn’t update then. I’m not at all pleased about it. I have contacted Rovio.

    Anyone else notice this?

    I’ve not received a reply from Rovio and no one else is reporting this. Am I crazy. I’m 99.99% absolutely sure I had auto update off.

    Heard from Rovio but wasn’t happy about reply.

    Was it from Joonas he seams to be replying to a lot of people.(with the same story) Fix my A** for a multi-million $ organization you would think they could have worked this out. Advertise the heck out of a new update. “it should be PLAYABLE don’t you think”

    Why yes it was Joonas.

    That’s the same person that told me the glitches before 1.15 was to improve game performance, which was later fixed and wasn’t what he said.

    I uninstalled game since they have no clue how offended I am that they would change app permissions without my consent. It’s a shame,I feel they really screwed up a good game and keep making it worse.

    I turned off automatic updates after the last update fiasco. Just checked and it is still off. Everything is fine for me. I am finally starting to enjoy playing the game again. Most of my TF’s at Level 12 so I’m finally able to complete missions and collect coins again. Won’t even think about updating until all TF’s at Level 15..

    This game is so frustrating I don’t know if it’s worth playing anymore. I feel like a horse and the proverbial carrot.

    That’s pretty much what I felt like, I’ve replied back to Joonas but he’s still not answering my main problem……why change permissions without consent? I won’t even consider reinstalling until they answer that.
