FB Progress Not transferred

  • Hello,

    I was stuck in a loop. I always play connected to FB.

    I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it.

    However, I was on level 340 when I unstalled it and when I reinstalled it and connected to FB, it put me at 311. Also some of my characters were not the correct level.

    Can anyone tell me how to recover my progress completely?

    I would contact Rovio support before trying anything. They usually are not much help but maybe there’s a current known glitch they know about. I lost complete progress several months ago and they did nothing.

    I don’t know about you, but for the past 2 days I have been experiencing trouble logging in my Fb account from either my phone or PC. I guess there is some kind of server problem at FB. I will try again this afternoon.

    I can log in but I have lost about 30 levels and upgrades that go along with it. I am hoping Rovio can restore it. My phone is fine but my tablet is off the 30 levels.

    @vannie Synching between devices has been discussed here before just not sure where. I believe that’s a known problem.

    This was my response from Rovio/Jonas about the issue. I thought if you saved to FB that was enough. Does anyone use helium?

    I’m sorry to say this, but it seems that your save file is corrupted and it can’t be restored to the level 340. Fortunately you were able to get back to your level 311 game, so you didn’t lose all of your progress. In order to investigate this corruption issue, could you answer to the following questions:

    What device are you using to play the game?
    What is the OS version in your game?
    Have you played the game with multiple devices?
    Have you used an external backup software to save your progress, e.g. Helium?

    Answering to as many questions as possible would go a long way to ensure that this unfortunate incident won’t happen again, my apologies!
