How do I get Rodimus and Nemisis Prime? Are they available in special missions?

@gabirdman Unfortunately, no. These characters were only available during Halloween and the Black Friday weekend respectively. For now you’ll have to live without them.
dlad@dladthey should do something for the ppl who cant buy them
nykki@diamond72I got the Nemius Prime. But I never once saw the chance to get Rodimus and I played all through Halloween and over Black Friday weekend. Never saw him come up other than when you choose a character to help.
WeeNaoise@weenaoiseWhy should they do something for the ppl who can’t buy them? When they were sold, they were sold as exclusive. That’s why some of us paid for them. If they made them available by other means or generally available, they would have missold them the first time around.
GA Birdman@gabirdmanI never knew they were available to be “bought”. How did you pay for them? With gems?
Optimus_Pig@optimuspigNemesis was available during the Hallowe’en event and Rodimus during the Thanksgiving event, and that’s it.
They were available for cash, and only cash.
I forget how much now.
eugene@eugene-alexRodimus was $3.99 US – Included some gems and coins
Nemesis Prime as about $10 US – Included Halloween accessories and some gemsdlad@dlad@weenaoise
Your right it ll be not fair if its available free to others.. But hopefully new 4 are achievable like shockwave…GA Birdman@gabirdmanFair and not fair sounds like an elementary school argument. If you pay for something as soon as it comes out and then later it is free, that has nothing to do with what’s fair or unfair. It is all a matter of whether or not you want to wait. If they come out in a month or so for free, then no wrong has been done to those who paid.
GA Birdman@gabirdmanI agree. If the only way to get them is to pay, then I will do without.
ph@phAlso, what about players who started playing after the events? As it stands now they will never even have a chance to get these TFs.
Now that it appears that the “updating progess” bug has been squashed (I have probably just jinxed myself) I might consider paying a reasonable amount for Rodimus and Nemisis Prime.
If Rovio would leave off the extras they could sell the TFs for a smaller amount.
WeeNaoise@weenaoiseIt is not unusual for Facebook (and similar) games to have one off, limited release purchases and prizes. If you are a late adopter, you just can’t get these earlier prizes. That’s just the way it is.
But the moment they start re-issuing these exclusive, limited release, one-time-only things – especially if at discounted rates – they will have misrepresented them first time around. It’s a huge no-no.
ph@phTechnically the “exclusive” could be considered the complete package – TF plus gems, coins and whatever else was included. In that construct, the TF could be either packaged differently or alone and no misrepresentation occurs, only misinterpreting.
WeeNaoise@weenaoiseConsidering the “exclusive” to be the whole package and therefor not covering the TF in isolation would be unlikely to hold up to scrutiny. The ACCC (for example) would focus on what a reasonable person would understand by an offer, not by the semantics that a vendor might later try to claim.
