Wizpig's Castle – Wave 2 Freeze

    Hi,
    I can’t get past the Wizpig’s Castle second wave because when the wave starts (after cutscene finishes and prince pig joins my team), the game sort of freezes – I can access the menu but I can’t control my birds (no blue circles under them).

    I’ve seen this issue in these forums few times but can’t find any resolution on how to fix this. I have tried to close and re-open the app, restart my phone, use cleaning apps, un-install and re-install the game but nothing seems to work. I thought it’s just my phone causing the issue but when I’ve noticed more people are experiencing this, I thought it’s a bug.

    Any idea on what to try? Do we have to wait for a bug fix?

    Many people have reported this problem and I myself had it when I was playing the level (on an Android device). I can not say what I did to make it work but I just restarted the game after it froze, started it up and played the level again. Within a few tries it did not freeze and I was able to beat Demon Wizpig but it was very frustrating having to restart the level several times before it worked.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have tried the battle at least 10 times and I’m at the point now where it’s really annoying to go through the first wave every time to check if this time it’s going to work.

    Forgot to mention – I’m also running on Android. Phone Samsung Galaxy S3

    I keep having the same issue, the one time it did work a couple of my birds hadn’t attacked the turn I completed phase 1. If all of your birds have attacked when he gets defeated it gets stuck. I’m also running on a Samsung Galaxy S3.

    According to your description, it could be the game is struggling to load in prince porgy into the battle.

    My previous post about getting to phase two didn’t work. I tried it a few times and it still gets stuck. But the one thing I remember doing the first time was that I had the Red Paladin in my group, tried that and I can get to phase 2, but I can’t ever beat it with the Paladin, Druid, Trickster combo.

    Thanks for replies everyone. I have finally got past the Wizpig Castle.

    I have simply tried again as Johnny suggested and I was able to attack in second wave. I have no idea what was different. I was using the same birds.

    I couldn’t beat the demon pig for the first time. When I tried again, the game froze again in second wave and I had to try another 4-5 times until it worked again.

    I guess it’s just a pure luck then, or who knows what influences it in the background.

    All you have to do is to use Druid Matilda when the regular WizPig has 100-200 health. It won’t kill him but the spikes will. You will have a free turn after he transforms. Btw I suggest buying 3 mighty Eagle’s favourite dishes before you do that otherwise it will be almost impossible to kill the demonic WizPig. After 3 weeks of waiting I finally figured it out. The first reply of claysims inspired me. Thanks a lot bro!
