I think I see the problem w/ the smash maniac achievement. I have yet to get this one too, but I notice that the icon on here for smash maniac, is the icon for the 50,000 blocks smashed achievement on my personal achievements. I think it recognizes that I have 500,000 blocks, it’s just that it’s updated on top of the 50,000 block achievement.. Does that make any sense?
I see what you are saying Jeff and it’s the same for me in Game Center. However, I also have Crystal set up for achievements and Smash Maniac is not appearing as completed there either. If what you suggest is the case then I should at least see the achievement completed in Crystal. There might be a bug with the icon that appears in Game Center being the wrong one.
I guess I haven’t achieved Smash Maniac yet, which is hard to believe.
It does take over 100 hours of dedicated block smashing. I preferred Egg-14 because it usually gave 50 blocks per toss and did not require much concentration while I watch TV. My theory as to why some people still do not have it is that they might not wait until the final COMPLETED or FAILED screen to ensure their blocks for that run get tallied into their total. (My theory could be wrong though.) I got Smash Maniac about 4 months after buying the game. I use iPhone4.
The feathers are when you get total destruction with the Mighty Eagle.
I had the same problem with 50 out of 52 achivements. And the only one i needed was the Smash Maniac – smash 500.000 blocks. Before Game Center I remember doing Space Invader. But now that I sat down looking through EVERY achivement one by one I realised that I didn’t have Space Invader in Game Center. I went and shot a yellow bird as high as I could and got the achivement (again). So now I’m at 51 out of 52 and still need the Smash Maniac achivement. Witch I don’t think I’ll ever get. Got 3 stars and feather in every level but still no Smash Maniac achivement.
So my advice: Compare your achivements with the list above one by one. It worked for me even though I know I had done the Space Invader a long time ago before Game Center.

I was confused to see that achievement missing in Game Center as well. Good to hear that others have experienced it, too, so I know I’m not crazy. :)
I believe some the achievements are supposed to be “secret”, so they don’t become visible until you unlock them.
need some help i dont have the william tell icon in my list of achievemens or game center. Still no luck with the smash maniac either. i have an iphone 4
I’m having the same problem. I noticed the Wilhelm Tell icon wasn’t in my list of achievements. So I figured I should try to unlock it by completing the task that this site gave me. I did it, hoping for the achievement to be unlocked and no luck. Is there anyone who has a solution to this problem?
Try to find a board where you can hit a red bird w/ a yellow one. That works the best I believe
I hit a red bird with another red bird. I did it twice in this version! :/ I even did the same thing for Angry Birds Rio. I hit a red bird with another red bird and got the achievement that comes with hitting two birds together. So, you think trying different birds will be more effective?
13-14 is a decent one for trying to hit the red with a yellow

You have to hit another bird IN FLIGHT. Once it touches something on the board, the “achievement” is null.
Go to board 9-11. Bring the boomerang bird back towards the slingshot and blast him with Big Brother.
I have the Feather Gatherer achievement but the Feather Picker and Feather Collector achievements won’t show up. Please help!
This happens with most achievements on most games. When you upgrade to an acivement of higher status, your previous achievements disappear

They are found in Game Center or Crystal. Currently those are only available on iOS devices.

Got Smash Maniac the other day. Only took a year or so… Even though I got three stars on all levels pretty quickly and play the game for hours… :)
The problem is, once I get the 200 feathers achievement I’m still going to be 1 short… It looks like Game Centre does not show (or count) the Space Invader achievemtn listed, but has it by default.
I believe Space Invader is one of the secret ones. If you satisfy the requirement, then it will show up.
tried shooting the yellow bird into space again – no achievement :(
I’m not sure if it’s level specific, but I know I did it in level 6-14, as the guide suggests.
I used Egg-11 (top left egg on page 1 of eggs). It seems perfect for the achievement. Aim almost straight up and tap the screen quickly after launching.
has anyone the 500.000 blocks achievment yet ? it can´t be possible that only this one is missing by everybody who playes angry birds seriously . something like a smashed block counter is needed !!!
Took me around 9,10 months of daily play but I finally got it, keep smashing it will happen.

Nice! I really hope they do this. Smash Maniac is my only missing achievement and I have mo idea where I stand with it.
They hadn’t thought of that?! I hope this doesn’t belittle your idea, not my intention at all,it just seems like so much of a no-brainer. It’s always nice to have a general idea of how close you are to achieving something. Regardless, I appreciate your sending the idea to them and of course for letting us know! And lets hope they do this, then we’d know for SURE which achievements are bugged.
I understand, and I don’t take it personal. I’m sure they’ve thought of making a counter, but the question may have been “how do we implement it”. I’m sure they don’t want a pure stat-sheet since the app is already getting a bit busy. This one may keep it clean.

The best thing to do is start entering your scores on the leaderboard. After you enter your score your personal scoreboard (e.g. Here’s mine) will show how far you are off the average score and highscore. It’s a quick and easy way to see which levels you can improve your score on.

I have another theory regarding the smash maniac achievement that everyone except a few are getting.. I think the achievement part was set right at 500,000, but maybe somewhere in the game coding they added another 0 and we’re all trying to break 5 million, not 500,000. That would explain alot, right?
I don’t think so. I got Smash Maniac within 4 months. If it was 5 million then the 50k achievement could be done within 2 days, which seems unlikely. My theory is players don’t wait for the COMPLETED/FAILED screen to make sure their smashes for each run get tallied into their total. Egg-14 is good for this. (Level 7-1 is okay too but you toss more birds.)

Me too. It’s very frustrating. I commented about my situation above. Some people gave me suggestions. They didn’t prove to be successful, though. Sorry. :/
It is probably just a bug, like Smash Maniac, Feather Picker and Feather Gatherer. I have all but these 3. However, I did get Wilhelm Tell a bit differently than you are trying. I don’t remember the level, but I shot a boomerrang bird and curved him back toward the slingshot, the I launched Big Red Bird into it’s path. It gave me Wilhelm Tell right away. I’ll try to find the level I did this on and post again.
Okay, figured out on which level I achieved Wilhelm Tell, it was 9-11.
I’ve been trying hard ,but I have no idea how to get full points for episode one. Is there a list of points that I could look at and compare? Thanks
You could check the leaderboard. Just click on anyone’s name and it’ll show you their total points at the bottom of the table.

Remember guys, achievements can take a few minutes to actually achieve… I got wilhelm Tell, then it took about 2 minutes to tell me I got it ;)
I have everything done except for 500000 blocks and 4.8 mil on world 3 any tips on what levels I should be targeting would be fantastic.
Check the leaderboard for the scores. Try to beat the average on every level and it should help.

I used the blue birds to hit a red bird on one of the earlier levels, its kinda like using a shotgun rather than a rifle =-)
Just lob a red bird up high then shotgun it with the blue bird, 3 times the chance of hitting it
I can’t seem to get my last 3 achievements. At one point I had the Feather Picker, but when I updated the app or my OS on my iPad or something…it disappeared. I know have Feather Collector (100 feathers), but it never gave me back my Feather Picker (50 feathers)…definitely a bug how can I have credit for 100 but not for 50?!? And now I have over 200 feathers (hand counted), yet I don’t have credit for the Feather Gatherer. :(
Also, as others have stated, I don’t have Smash Maniac, which I find hard to believe but no way to hand count blocks smashed. However, too many people having issues for this to not be a bug!
Has anyone figured out how to fix the issue with Feather Achievements not showing up????
Try to enter the Game Center directly to make sure it is working okay and still understands you. I know I had to do a couple new things after a recent Game Center update in order for it to continue to recognize me.

Can someone explain to me how Star Gatherer is even possible? I only count 750 obtainable stars as of the completion of Ham ‘Em High. Maybe this is a future achievement?
You have to re-play levels and continue getting stars until you get 750. Technically, it’s achievable even if you play one level repeatedly. :)
I’m not a huge “gamer” type person, but love angry birds and have gotten 3 stars on every level and all the golden eggs. I would really like to know how to see my achievements, but i don’t know how and can’t find it on the iphone game… can someone tell me how I see the achievements I’ve earned so I know what else I need?
Achievements are accessed by tapping the trophy icon under the “play” button. You’ll need to have a Game Center account, which you can access by clicking the icon on your iPhone’s home screen.
ok, so here is proving my lack of game knowledge… I can’t seem to figure out how to get the game center account or what icon it would be. I tried to search for “game center” in the app store and found nothing relevant to this. I guess I need more specifics… Thanks for your help.
If you’re running iOS 4.2 or higher Game Center will already be installed. It’s not something you download and install separately. Click on the Game Center link in my previous comment. The icon on your phone will look like the one that appears on the top left hand side of that page. If you don’t have the icon your likely running outdated software or have an older device.
It has nothing to do with iOS. You need at least an iphone 3GS. If you install iOS 4.2 on an iPhone 3G, you still won’t have the Game Center.
Yes and no. You could be running a supported device, but if you haven’t upgraded iOS to > than 4.2 then you still won’t see Game Center, hence my reason for mentioning it.
so how do I upgrade the iOS?
Connect your iPhone to you computer then launch iTunes (if it doesn’t automatically open). It may sync first. After which your device should appear in iTunes left hand menu. Click it. Now in the right hand pane click, “Check for Upgrade”. If an upgrade is available just follow the instructions to upgrade the software.
it said I have 4.2.1 and is up to date. Still doesn’t have the game icon, and I know the phone isn’t the 4. Pretty sure it’s the 3, so I am guessing it’s not compatible for that? We are getting a new iphone mid May. Can I transfer all my stuff and stats or do I have to beat it all again?
You can also use Crystal to track your achievements, if you can’t figure out the Game Center thing. Click on the arrow button on the right of the start-up screen. You will find the icon for Crystal there. You’ll need to create a Crystal account. It’s redundant since Game Center is now the standard, but you can use Crystal until you have Game Center sorted.

Hey I just tried to get the wilhelm tell but I didn’t work. I left the game and started to play a random game and I suddenly came up but I didnt smash two birds together.
What do I do if I can’t get the achievment score addict episode 3 ?? I have 4 806 240 but it wont show ???
it was just really sloooooooooooooow it took 3 days for it to show, sometimes you have to have patience.
I purchased the Eagle but no “Aquiline Benefactor” achievement! What gives?
sometimes it can take a while. Keep using him and hopefully it’ll show up.
Do you get credit for blocks smashed if you start over before the game starts you over. As in if my shot is bad I quit and start over. Do the blocks smashed before I start over get counted ?
Should be fine. Theoretically, any computation counter iterates on a continuous loop, not only after an inner loop (i.e., a level) ends.
Also, I believe I received the 50k in the midst of a level; same with cages in Rio.

When I went for Smash Maniac I waited for COMPLETED/FAILED. I was concerned that aborting might not tally the smashed blocks from that run into my total. Try 100 hours or less of level Egg-14 while watching TV.
Yes, I got the achievement while blocks were getting smashed in Egg-14, but that could just be the code testing total_smashed + this_run_smashed > 500,000. It might not permanently combine it into the total until the level finishes smoothly.

i dont think smash maniac is bugged its OK the problem is that you have to be logged to gamecenter while smashing those blocks if there is any connection problems with the gamecenter (it happens a lot) the block you smash dosnt count and you will have to smash it again …. so make sure that the ” welcome back ,user name” – gamecenter sigh will apeare when you start your angry birds game!!!
i have 3 Stars in every Level but no 1500 Star wtf?
Even if you always get 3 stars in a level on your first try, you will only have 729 stars and have to reply.

just smash egg-14 16 minutes = 5000 block if you smash with outany breaks ….
dont wait till the failed/comlete screen to appear !!!!!!!! i never did and got it in the middle of a level !!!!!!!!
