after completing some of the golden eggs, my points do not register on the game center. Has anyone had this happen?
I didn’t think Golden Egg levels counted towards your points on Game Center? Maybe I’m missing something.
Correct. Do not count toward overall score either within the game.
how do you get the feathers achievements? Do you just like tap on the birds after they die or what?
That’s for achieving total destruction with the mighty eagle.
For a one time payment of 99 cents at Apple App center, you can buy and activate the Mighty Eagle. (Not sure of prices for Droid or other platforms.) No points are applied to your scores when you use ME. Instead, you try to destroy a level 100% and earn a feather token for that level. Collect 50 or 100 or 200 tokens for the achievements.

Nope it’s just a one-time purchase, then you can play around with it at will. Though only once an hour if you actually use it to skip a level. Check out our article titled, “Mighty Eagle Explained“.

Small red bird-no special abilities
Blue bird-splits into 3, good for breaking ice
Yellow bird-speeds up, good for breaking wood
White bird-drops an egg bomb out it’s rear end ;)
Black bird-bomb, Good for breaking stone
Green bird-boomerang, good for when you need to hit something from the back side
Big red bird- uses his girth to destroy as much as he can
A reminder for newbies, these powers are activated after tapping on the screen

Nope when you use the ME it changes to a different scoring system, ie, the amount of destruction.
Hey, I think there’s a bug with smash maniac. Evidence:I already got smah maniac for rio,and if had it for a month. I’ve had angry birds for 6 months and I get nothing.what can I do!!!!!!! Please help
yeah we’ve had many discussions here on ABN about the bug in smash maniac. Currently there is nothing we can do but hope Rovio fixes it soon.
How would you check how many blocks you have smashed?
I don’t believe their is a counter…yet.
Count all the blocks on the screen in the beginning before tossing any birds, then count or estimate how many remain after the smashing and the difference is the amount smashed.
I am not convinced there is a bug. The time needed for smashing on Rio is a joke in comparison. It is normal for someone to not have Smash Maniac within 6 months. Some skeptics suddenly got Smash Maniac after nearly giving up hope.
Do you remember how long it took you to get the 50,000 block achievement? If it was 3 weeks, then it would take you 10 times that for Smash Maniac. That would be 7.5 months. Take into account that you might be playing AB less frequently these days.
The only reason I managed to earn Smash Maniac so quickly was to play the Egg-14 level over and over for 100 hours, like a maniac. (100 hours X 100 runs/hour X 50 blocks_avg/run = 500,000 blocks.)
If you have the patience to play Egg-14 for 2 hours per night (while watching TV) then you can get the achievement soon enough. Let’s guess you already reached 250,000 blocks. Just play Egg-14 for 2 hours/night for a month.
I know I’ve said it a bunch but I think the bug is a relation between when a person reached the smash maniac level and when game center came out. There is a REALLY good chance that I reached smash maniac before gamecenter was released, And I’m hearing that a lot from other players who’ve been playing for well over a year. The same thing has happened in cut the rope. I achieved the mark before the achievement was available in game center, so now it won’t give me the achievement.

I’m new to the board so sorry if this has already been said but I reckon the superbowl level is a great way to get smash maniac, lots of blocks to smash. Not done it myself yet but I’m working on it and will let you know if it works.
We are still a little divided on whether the bonus levels are counted towards smash maniac. I had originally thought it was only on main levels but some others have said they’ve gotten smash maniac with egg levels, so I am being swayed. BUT at the same time there is a LOT of evidence that smash maniac is bugged, particularly from those of us who most likely would have reached smash maniac before game center existed. So if you’re fairly new to the game, have at it, you should be able to get smashM, but if you’ve played for a long time, I’d wait until there’s an update to even try.
On smash manic, is it a particular block? ie: ice or stone or wood? Or does it include “ALL” blocks?

I am convinced Egg levels can be used for Smash Maniac because Egg-14 was the only level I played for several hours prior to achieving Smash Maniac.
Egg-14 is convenient because you only need to shoot 1 bird, which is not much of a distraction while watching TV. The Superbowl level might be better than 7-1, which is what I used to use.
Does the crap you destroy with ME count towards smash maniac????
Also do you have to complete a level, as in get at least 1 star in it for the blocks you smashed to count?? Like I always play a level and realize I won’t 3 star it, then I restart. Do those smashed blocks still count??
And what’s the deal with chests??
There is no concrete answers to this, but here’s what I believe anyways (after many conversations with FujiToast and rjohnson_8ball.
–Mighty Eagle probably does not count, just because it seems a bit unfair.
–You do not have to pass (1-star) a level.
–I think the code for AB is old enough that you may have to wait for the “Level Complete/Failed” screen. But, on the other hand, AB Rio you don’t: You can smash say 10 lights by continuously restarting and you’re all set.
–What chests?
i have the Feather Gatherer archievement in gamecenter but not the archievement for 50 and 100 feathers. can anyone help me?
Here’s a quasi-solution. Not a guarantee, but it’s something.
You need to play 50 different games and complete the level for total destruction on each level. Doesn’t matter which levels you play just that you have to get the total destruction on 50 different levels. The 50 also count towards the 100 goal.
ZaZ is saying that he has the 200 feathers achievement, but not the 50 or 100. It’s a problem that arose in the last update for some people.
i have 3 types of angry birds on 3 different systems.1 on the psp, 3 on my dad’s android and 5 on my mom’s ipad. plus there is a gamecenter for android called heyzap but… it’s “badges” are in general not individual games. but still YAY!!!
I am going to soon move into the IPhone 4 model (currently on Iphone 3G (non-s) with jailbroken Game Center features). All working great and everything, but my concern is when I move to the IPhone 4, and installt he AB there. Will i loose all my acheivements and scores or when I log into the GC it will get them back?
Has this been tested before? Moving from model to model? What has to be done not to lose any game data or acheivements :( .. I’ve had all ABs done, and would kill myself if i have to do them all again :D
You can see some information about transferring here but it is not a perfect system. But just so you know, it is ALL about the data files. GameCenter does not store information about your games on an external system.
Actually you should be fine. (Just so you know, I only say “should” to cover my own rear in case something goes wrong) As far as your gamecenter achievements go, that info is held on apple’s servers so whenever you log into any device you will still see all your achievements. So no problem there what-so-ever.
Now for your game progress that all depends on how you setup your new phone, in order to save your progress for ALL your games and apps you MUST restore your new iPhone 4 from a backup of your iPhone 3G. If you start your iPhone 4 as a new phone, you won’t see any of your progress transferred over.
Now this is optional but recommended. If you plan on jailbreaking your iPhone 4. First restore it to the settings of your 3G in itunes. Then sync the iphone4 so that itunes has a backup of your new phone in it’s list of restore files. THEN you can do a jailbreak.
Also as AMslim said, it’s a good idea to backup your game save files with a program called PhoneView. At least then you’ve got yourself covered.

yeah it is pretty hard to say, currently i’m at 21 363 000 for angry birds, but I can definitely improve that a fair amount still. I do not doubt scores up to 22 million at all. I have brought up Ziria scores before and in both angry birds and rio they seem to be very high.
I want to be carefully that one doesn’t accuse a honest player, but I have been curious on how Ziria manages to get his scores so high and in such a short time. I think his Rio Score went to 5.7 million within the first 10 days. 2 months later the closest score is still 200k off? Maybe he has inside knowledge of the designs or he might just simply be a Angry Birds “rainman” I’m certainly just a amateur who spends too much time playing angry birds, so I do expect that gifted players should be able to get higher scores.
I’m curious as to how one player in Game Center can be over 2,000,000 points ahead of second place. Seems like a very wide spread! Is there some trick to including the eggs score in the total?
Nah, GC hacked score. Nothing Rovio can do about it.

Why is it that I’ve achieved the “50 feather” and the “200 feathers” but it won’t unlock my “100 feathers” ??? I mean I clearly acheived 100 feathers if I have 200, correct? Am I missing something?
It’s a bug. We are a lot of people with the same problem. Probably in the next update … who knows ..

When I am logged in GC, I don’t see any reference to the angry birds hd I have installed on my iPad. I have had a GC account long before I downloaded AB from the app store. Any thoughts? I am running OS 4.3.3
What happens when you click the trophy on the home page of Angry Birds? So long as you purchased the app on that GC account, it should show.

One of the most common problems is related to Mighty Eagle (I’ve heard about 15 persons with the same one): I got the 200 feathers achievement, but I didn’t get the 50 and 100 ones.
Do scores from other angry birds accumulate or is the score in gc only the score from the original? Like if i have seasons and regular ab. Do my scores combine or are they 2 different things?
Scores are held separately.
That’s weird! Game Center is doing weird things in Rio. (Or Rio is doing weird things with Game Center)
Rio was looping and looping and looping flagging up all my achievements in that little banner thing that pops up (I have ’em all bar 2 – completing all Beach Volley levels and 3 Star all of Beach as I’ve not played 6-15 yet)
But if I view my acievements I now have 0, zero, nadda!! Nice one!!
Oh, and I don’t have any scores in GC now either…

Chapter 14 is in Ham ‘Em High. If you don’t yet have Ham ‘Em High you’ll need to update to get it.

All feather achievements require you to get a certain amount of feathers with the Might Eagle (an inapp, 99 cent purchase in iOS)

Yes, do 100% destruction on a level and you will see a small feather symbol appear next to the level number on the “level select screen”.

The three levels at the end of Ham ’em High can be accessed by clicking the “Thumb’s Up” Facebook button on that page. It will open your internet browser and bring you to the Angry Birds Facebook Page. Let it load, but no need to do anything: Just return to Angry Birds and the three levels should be unlocked.
On Crystal I have Space Invader, but in Game Center I don’t have this achievement. How is this possible?
You could have got the achievement before you had a Game Center on your device or had an account. You might try getting it again.

It just means that your achievements won’t register until you reconnect to WiFi. You can still get them tho.
I’ve been using an iPhone 3G without GC, when I upgrade will my achievements be lost?
If you have an iPhone 3G without GameCenter, then you have no means of recording achievements, correct? But if you ever upgrade and transfer your data to a newer iOS device, all/most of your achievements should register upon starting the game.
Hey guys! Today i took a Look at my achievement list and found out that there are some New achievements! They are called ‘ultimate bejeweler’ and. ‘hard as Rock’ . I think they should Be added to the List on this Website! Has anybody an idea which Level fits Best for smashing jewels?

I’m still convinced that Smash Maniac is bugged. I’ve been playing Angry Birds since May 2010 (long before Game Center) and I don’t know how it’s possible I don’t have this achievement yet. At one point yesterday I was ranked #206 in the world, so it’s not like I play the game occasionally. I have played Egg-14 a lot as well just in case, but no luck, and I feel like it’s a waste of time playing that level over and over. I know a few others around here have had trouble getting the achievement — is that still the case for you guys?
That’s the case for most of the “veteran” players.
OK, that’s what I thought. Rovio doesn’t think it’s bugged, though, do they? I think I remember reading that somewhere a while back.
There’s a post in the forum with a few more details. I think Rovio is conceding that there is an issue, just not for all players.
