I am trying to get the schievements but I can’t figure out some of them like score addict episode 1 and the feather thing has anyone finished these and what did you do
Lots of people have completed these. To achieve score addict your total score needs to be greater than the listed amount. The feather achievements are related to the Mighty Eagle. You receive a feather after achieving Total Destruction on a level.
Vickter57 I’ve gotten feathers in all of poached eggs the answer to your question is perseverance: if at first you don’t succeed try try again. There was one level I can’t remember if it was poached eggs 1-12 or 2-12 but it took me 4 days to get that stupid feather I was determined to get every feather in every level. Oh, and one more thing, what ever you do DON’T throw your phone against any walls or windows. Keep on gaming
I know how that feels. Someone got mad at me and threw my phone and broke it and I lost all my angry birds progress and since my computer stopped working I had to buy a new MacBook too so I wasn’t able to get my ab stuff back and had to start all over. And I had all the stars and feathers for all the episodes except mine and dine and ham em high

Why can’t i get the achievements of angry birds and angry birds rio on pc version? Does the achievements available on pc?
Achievements are currently only available for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.)
does iPod touch have achievements for Rio?
I would verify in our Game Center post, but I believe iPod Touch (2nd gen and higher, iOS 4.1 and higher) can have Game Center, and therefore achievements. You will have to sign in to an account to access them.
do all different kinds of blocks work for smash maniac or just the regular rectangles (not the skinny ones)
My guess is it would be all of them, but it’s really really hard to say and others may disagree.

The one I preferred for Smash Maniac was Egg-14 (on the first page, the egg just right of center). I used 7-1 before that but it was a bit slower at smashing blocks. Calculate your estimate beforehand. Don’t be surprised if it takes you a month at a couple hours per day of mindless smashing. I did it while watching TV and commercials.

You just answered two questions I had AMslimfordy and rjohnson_8ball but I have one more. Like many people, I am working on achieving the smash maniac award. Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere but my question is do the ‘smashes’ count if you reset the board to play again or do you have to wait to get the “passed” or “failed” que in order to receive credit? If it’s the latter that may answer why it’s so difficult an award to achieve.
It’s a matter of debate, but we’re pretty sure you can reset.

You receive a feather by getting Total Destruction with the Mighty Eagle. That said, obviously you have to have the Mighty Eagle first, which is currently only available on iOS devices.
Why would not rovio put a free Mighty Eagle for other countries?
I think the Mighty Eagle is not free for anyone.
Also,an error found,both the achievements “Boom Boom” and “Mothers of all bombs” have the pics. of the white birds.
Agreed, this site should change the “Boom Boom!” image from white egg bird to black bomb bird.

How do you get the star gatherer achievement? The total possible number of stars (if you get 3 on each level) is just over 800. Do you just beat the same levels multiple times? Thanks in advance :-)
Yes, contrary to most achievements, Star Gatherer does not simply count your final total, but all intermediates as well so theoretically you could play level 1-1 267 times and get the achievement.
up until today I could look at the achievements page on my I phone4 to check my status…now when I select it nothing happens. It will not open up. Do you know what to do to get it back?
This is through Game Center right? Have you tried rebooting your iPhone?

thanks for your help…I got it to work by relogging into the Game Center, but I have all 15 papaya and they are not shown as an achievement. Maybe they’ll show up next time I sync?!?
The papaya (actually all Carnival achievements) are bugged. We are waiting on a fix.
I had the same issue with the Carnival achievements and submitted the issue to Rovio. I was told it was with the Game Center itself which is not a Rovio product I guess that is iTunes then but I couldn’t find a way to submit to them. At any rate, once I got the Airfield episode and played the first level, the Carnival achievements showed up in the Game Center. Not sure if that was the ‘fix’ but it did work. Play first level of Airfield and then check Game Center again.
Rovio submitted mended achievement prompts.
Has the Smash Maniac bug been fixed yet? It is the only achievement I do not have and im in the top 1000 in the world with all levels beaten with 3 stars. On top of that I’ve played both 7-1 and Egg-14 for months on end, yet still no achievement.
It’s a big debate. I have seen a few people in the last week report that they have received Smash Maniac. On the other hand, I know of a few “veterans” (as in, pre-GameCenter) who have not received the achievement.
Basically, we have no answer. It is certainly possible to receive the achievement, but we aren’t sure what’s wrong (if anything).
I hit a flying bird with another bird. But I did not get the wilhelm tell achievement. What do I have to do to get that one? Unless it’s broken.
Not broken as far as I know. Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the achievement to register. Just to be clear, both birds must be “in flight”, as in not have touched any part of the structure or ground.
I don’t really know how to do the wilhelm tail..any tips?
Find a level that has consecutive Blue Birds. Fire one straight up and split it early. Line up the next bird and fire at the three little guys falling. (You can split the second bird too, for triple the accuracy). If you are successful, the achievement may still take a minute or two to register.
The award “Aquiline Benefactor” is the Secret Achievement
It was a secret achievement, really? Hrm, I thouht it always existed in the list.
It’s not a secret. it’s on the achievements list and i haven’t gotten it.
i played level 1-1 again after finishing all the levels and no matter how hard i try i cant seem to get three stars. any way to play? i think its how high you launch the bird
Have you checked out our video walkthroughs? Also, if you click the gold bar under the video on that page, you can see the minimum score required for three stars.

PC (standalone from angrybirds.com) is as up to date as any mobile platform.
AppUp is a bit behind but should be receiving an update soon.

Achievements can only be achieved, not downloaded. That’s why they are called “achievements”. If they could be downloaded, they would be called “downloads”.
maybe i need to rephrase this then. do i have to tally up my own score or what? i have just beat angry birds.. all levels with 3 stars and all golden eggs
Achievements are currently only available for iOS users through Game Center. That said, I have integrated the score addict achievements into our leaderboard here. So if you want to see where you stand enter your scores on the leaderboard and it will show you at the bottom of each world.
How do I get mighty eagle on AB seasons?
You can’t yet, but it seems that iOS users don’t have long to wait.
Also, I exceeded the points for score addict on pick neck but it still won’t give me the achevement. I rebooted and turn my IPhone off and back on. Any suggestion?
I have the same problem. Sent a note to Rovio and they’re looking into it apparently.
Have you tried redownloading the game? I know this is crazy, but this might actually work. Another way would be to keep trying until you get it, but I prefer my first suggestion.

Yes, don’t delete the app. No one has received Score Addict for Summer Pignic. It is bugged. Nothing you can do abou it right now besides wait.

Sorry to bother you but one last question…I uploaded AB seasons for the Mighy eagle. However when I start the first level and hit the the mighty eagle icon a screen pops up that says “Cannot connect to ITunes store”. I already uploaded the update. Please advise

We haven’t heard anything more that I’m aware of yet. I’m guessing we will have to wait for apple to approve another release before we will get access.

The achievements are working fine. Not sure what issue you are having. All achievements in ABo are perfect (smash maniac is debatable). The only bugs in Seasons is “SP: Score Addict” and maybe Bunny Hunter.
Are you sure you are signed into your game center? Where is normally says “Me” does it instead say “sandbox”?
There is a posting by “Rovio Support” that was confusing. It essentially said the feather achievement but should be given when the requirements are met and the ticket has been marked as solved but that it was still under investigation. I have the 200 but don’t have the 50 or 100. Is this fixed or not and if so how do I get it to show up? Am I missing something? The post was July 28.
It’s not working for me either so I’d assume still not fixed. :(
Rovio has done this with a few of my tickets. They mark your ticket as solved probably because it’s a largely-spread issue and it will (they hope) be fixed in the next coming update. Either that, or they just really don’t want to go through when it finally is fixed and mark thousands of tickets as solved (let alone hunt them all down).
Basically, it’s solved in that there will be a widespread solving at some point.
The Mighty Eagle does come at a price, eh? How I wonder whether it is also available for the free version or for the Rio version.
I doubt it will ever appear on the Free apps. It’s not worth the price for only 15 levels.
Rio is an interesting question. I think Rovio’s plan would be “ideally, yes” but we’ll see how the time frame works out.
Technically it is possible to offer Mighty Eagle for free in the free versions.
True, but I still don’t foresee that happening. I think they have other projects in mind, such as Mighty Eagle to other platforms.

Achievements are iOS only for right now, sorry.
There should acutally be a Game Centre for PC, you know, so that gamers like me can post high scores in the leaderboards. Who knows maybe lots of PC gamers out there might be better than iOS gamers. How soon would it be, Bird Leader or anybody?
No idea. Rovio said they were planning to make a universal leaderboard (if I remember correctly). However, they have not indicated if and when it will come out.
Since the Aquiline Benefactor achievement is really a secret achievement, did you know that the feather achievements are also secret achievements?

They’re not secret achievements. Secret means they don’t appear on the list in Gamecentre unless you have completed them. The Aquiline Benefactor achievement and feather achievements are always visible.
Is it an error on Rovio’s part, or is the new achievement for finishing world 17 MEANT to be called “Cave Conqueror?” Why I’m asking, is the achievement for completing world 16 is also called “Cave Conqueror,” only it has a different icon.
It’s a mistake in Game Center. If you go to Crystal, you can see that the correct name of this achievement should be “King of the Caves”.
Finally got feather picker achievement,just appeared when started playing new mine update. Hopefully smash maniac will be next,been waiting long enough!
I know, Smash Maniac still eludes me. It is obviously bugged, and it has been a while since Rovio was made aware of the problem. Hopefully it is on their agenda.

Are you trying to get RID of the undeserved achievement for the sake of your honesty? ;) Actually are you aware that you get the achievement just for playing through the levels? As in you don’t have to get 3 stars, you just have to pass them. Let us know if there is something more specific you needed help with!

Space Invader is achieved by launching a yellow bird straight up and tapping his speed burst so he launches….into space. ;)

My Episode 6 Total Destruction achievement on iPhone has a golden background instead of a white one. Is this a bug?
Nah, they do this from time to time. The same is true for its Score Addict achievement, and for “Easter Eggs!” TD and SA.
For some reason the Wild Pork Hickok achievement on your list above is also golden, but mine is white.
Actually, that one must have changed in on of the recent updates. I just created that badge about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I got this achievement some days after chapter 14 was out, but never in my life I had a golden achievement before. Mine was always white. I’m 100% sure.
Maybe in HD version the achievements are golden, and in normal version they should be white?
I believe this was the same on both platforms, but I could be wrong. I just checked and the HD is now white as well. I’m pretty sure SD was originally gold — which was odd, but we let it go.
Maybe I only had this achievement in Chrystal and was not connected to Game Center at that time. And later when I connected to Game Center, there was already a new version in which the achievement was changed from golden to white. That’s why I have never seen this golden achievement in my Game Center.
sorry if they show up but im going to post 3 times about the fact that world 17 hasnt been released yet but they still have an achievement and they have it on leaderboard, my posts have been disappearring
@FatBird, please read this post, which states that Chapter 17 was released for iOS yesterday at approximately midnight Eastern US time.
Clearly, we would not add levels to the leaderboard or add achievements without the updates being released. How could we determine minimum 3-star scores or upload the achievement badges without having the update?
My space invader achievement shows up on Crystal but not on game center. I’ve repeated this maneuver more times with no luck. I’ve waited for it to register. Any advice or just wait longer. This doesn’t seem to be a big issue for most.
Just wait, I think. It’s nit bugged that I know of, but some users report it registering the next day, or wih the next achievement you obtain.
Does anyone know for the 500,000 blocks smashed. do blocks smashed count if you pause and restart a level before its complete? or is it better to see a level go to failed or complete status before trying again?
This has not been confirmed by Rovio, but we believe it is ok to restart levels. Also, Golden Egg levels count towards Smash Maniac; Mighty Eagle does not.
