The new update is here. In the description they say “four new achievements”. Which four achievements do they mean?
And unfortunately they don’t say anything about bug fixes. :-(
They are fixed. I have 48 of 50 achievements now (2 secret and unattainable). All set. Even the 17 watermelon bug is fixed.
Yes, you are right, they are fixed. I’m only missing Stellarvore now which is unattainable at the moment.
But I thought only 2 achievements were new. Why do they say 4?

On a related note, there was no achievement for unlocking Big Brother.

I recieved credit for Stellervore already….
You cannot earn the Stellervore achievement with half-episodes, and it was bugged after Carnival Upheaval ended. Therefore, you have only had two opportunities to obtain it: After “Jungle Escape” or after “Beach Volley”. You will have another chance after “Airfield Chase” assuming no bugs.
Yeah, they emailed me a few days back to say they had this all taken care of, and the bug I had to reported to them will be closed. I forgot to post their mail here. I wasn’t sure I could believe it anyway. I now have all the achievements due to me for Angry Birds Rio.
Hey, where are the airfield achievements?
I literally just added them above. That said, there aren’t any specific achievements for the Airfield Chase yet. Those will come out when the final chapter (10) is released.
How do you get to your list of completed achievements? Is it the trophy and the podium on the home page cause if so i am unable to access them on any version of the game. Please help.

how to complete Friendly Fire achivement
Fire one bird straight up and hit it with another bird before either touch any part of the level.
wow, after days of trying finally got the last papaya on 8-5. i may actually go look at the walkthrough to see if i was making it more difficult than it seemed. still searching for the last Beach watermellon (those are watermellons, right?)
and as long as people seem to be posting negatives about achievements, so far i’ve had no problem. every time i gain all three stars or collect all fruits, the achievement seems to come up immediately.

There was an actual bug with some of the Carnival achievements, where no one was getting credit for them. This has since been corrected.

I have all stars but can’t unlock Stellarvore (3 stars in all levels). Is this another achievement bug? Also achievements listed should be “Jungle Escape – Score Addict” and “Smugglers’ Den – Score Addict” not Jungle and Warehouse, being fussy :)
The two “Score Addicts” are not our doing. We are just copying how Rovio and Game Center call them.
Stellarvore cannot be earned at “half-episodes”. The idea being that your screen says Airfield Chase: 45/90 stars, which the achievement is calling incomplete. I wouldn’t call it a bug; it’s just the way it is. You should be able to earn Stellarvore after the next level update (the completion of Airfield Chase).
I just noticed in my Game Center it comes up with different titles as I was trying to work out why I only had 47 out of 50 instead of 48 – wondering what the other two where and why I was missing 48 – I must have had it before but it’s taken away since the launch of the new episode. Maybe the achievement titles have changed since they were first named from a recent update? I assume the other two will be completion of airfield and airfield score addict.
Ah, odd. HD has them as “Warehouse/Jungle”. SD has them as “Smugglers Den/Jungle Escape”. Ba humbug.
There are 2 secret achievements (we know what they are, but they are not obtainable until at least the Episode 6 update). The most you could have is 48/50 achievements.
The achievement “Stellarvore” will be available when all the levels are released.
Some users already have it (like me) from the v1.0.0 release.
I uploaded the new AB Rio update this morning but when I go to play there only the 1st 15 levels. The other 15 still says coming soon. I’m on my IPhone. Any advise?
Today’s update did not claim to have any new levels. “Fixes a stability issue found on certain OS versions.”
As far as I was concern it did say 15 new levels

On game center it says I have 43 of 50 achievement and I only have 4 achievements not filled in. So I don’t have 3 achievement on my list. Help!
Two of those are unattainable and secret, so your goal should be 48 achievements.
The last one is probably Stellavore, which is unattainable in half-episodes.

I do. One is for collecting one of each fruit. The other is 25M points.
I’m only at 14M now. So the last one and a half chapters must give me 11M. Or do you think there will be further bonus levels like the Golden Beachball levels?
Not sure. I agree it’s lofty, but it is what the PLIST files say.

Yes. But the achievement is to obtain one of each kind of fruit, of which there are six (one for each episode). At best right now, you can have 15 pineapples, 15 bananas, 15 melons, 15 papayas, and 7 apples. You don’t have any of the sixth fruit (grapes, I think).

What platform are you playing on? Most can update to v1.3.0 or higher. Check your applicable AppStore.
How do you get grapes?
I think grapes are the golden fruit in the sixth episode, so you can’t yet.

In Rio, I have all the achievements done and it says I only have 47 out of 50. From reading the posts I see that 2 aren’t attainable yet, but I don’t know which other one I’m missing b/c all the icons are lit up. Anyone help?

Then you must be missing one of the secret achievements… Most likely Stellavore.

This can be done in any level, but if you can find one with consecutive Blue Birds, it makes it much easier.
Fire the first bird nearly straight up. (If a Blue Bird, split it early.) As the first bird falls, line up the second bird to cause the two to collide. (Again, if a Blue Bird, you get to split them for a successful hit.)

Hello . I just noticed that On Game center Know they have 4 more additional achievements upper on the list ” Says these ” 48 of 54. And on the button there are the achievements with the Sign ” ? ” . When the achievements show up on gamecenter, that means we are really close to a new update. Let’s keep our fingers cross that the new update comes out tomorrow!!

Yellow Bird is sufficient.
But how?
Arc the Yellow Bird a bit high… maybe 60-70 degrees above horizontal. Towards the apex, trigger the speed boost to cause the Yellow Bird to plow into the wing.

I have all the apples and three stars on everything except 10-15. I have one star with 37000+ What is the goal? I’ve freed all the caged birds multiple times and even had two birds left over. Nothing happens on the HD version. The plane just keeps on flying until I shoot all the birds. Is the some way to “down” the plane?
56k is enough (not necessarily the minimum though). Make sure you get Jewel inside the plane. Also, it takes a little time for the level to stop. The birds roll for a while since there is so much inherent motion to the level.
Got it. Two birds left and it gave me credit for them. 56K+ score
BTW: I got three achievments: Finish Airfield, gather all apples and score adict seem to be working… Just need 3 stars on 10-15
I have all four now. They seem be all working on HD
i have 3 stars 0n 10-15. first you must shoot the red bird on the three hanging cages. second the blue bird to the cages ontop of the plane then the yellow bird to the cage in the plane but you must hit the cage on the end of the plane. iv got 56690 points and three stars.
IS it correct that you can have a maximum of 51 out of 54 achievements?

I have the maximum of 495 stars now, but I did not get Stellarvore.

Hrm, ok. Be sure to report this to Rovio. I will do the same. (Tough for me to confirm since I received the achievement in March in the v1.0.0 release).
Maybe the “bug” was that people already received Stellarvore in v1.0.0. What sence does it make to receive an achievement for all stars when you don’t even have half of all stars? Don’t forget that people who will buy this game next year will have all episodes at once. So “all stars” should really mean “all stars in all episodes”.

Partially true, and partially not. For example, in the “Free” versions, the equivalent of “stellarvore” (called Ready for More) is for 3-starring all available levels.

@AMslimfordy: Firstly, the Ready For More achievement is for clearing all levels, not for earning stars.
Secondly, it has nothing to with AB Rio. Ready For More is in AB Free, not in AB Rio Free.
And thirdly, AB Free has no “coming soon” levels. So everybody knows what clearing all levels means. Of course you don’t need to wait for a further update to clear all levels.
AB Rio is totally different. We all know that there are levels missing (episode 6, chapters 11 and 12). And it seems to be obvious that there won’t be further updates any more after chapter 6. So “all stars” can mean “all stars of the whole game”.
Like I said, I have asked Rovio about this. I understand your point, but the protocol for Ready for More would be rather similar to Stellarvore. I never claimed it was in Rio Free, but it’s all the same developer so I figured it was relevant. And certainly AB Free has “coming soon” levels; they just aren’t listed yet. It’s not like AB Free is over. Nor has it been explicitly stated by Rovio that Rio will be done in November — though this was the original assumption.
Considering one of the secret achievements is “25M points earned” and the leader on this site (manu) only has 18M, it seems to me that there may be more episodes similar to the Golden Beachball levels (or simply an extension of them).
We will have to wait and see what Rovio has to say about the matter. It is entirely possible that the Golden Beachball levels have disrupted the coding for the achievement, since these are 15 levels (45 stars) that should not be counted.
Hi ya …Straight of the bat because I don’t post much ,This site is a bloody masterpiece ,thanks to each and every person that keep it in what must be a fluid state allowing the hundreds of ideas to constantly be thrown in the mix allowing for great outcomes ,I don’t know how u can accommodate so many directly ,while still assuring a heap more that further down the track if possible they will be addressed(BLOODY AWSOME). NOw I’m chasing some help of course ,after I last updated Rio HD on the page after you push play u have 6 rectangles…5 of which are full with your scores ,then under that your star count,and under that your fruit count….the last one being my drama ,I had all 15 for each section bar Airfield of course prior to update,now I have none ,and they are thereto be collected in game ,which is doable without breaking anything..In gamecentre all my achievements are still there ,I have started collecting the fruits again as I assume that’s what is preventing the Airfield update from opening last fifteen episodes ,so has any1 else come across this ,any1got suggestions as I’m Fanging to get into it .any help appreciated ,.didnt know how to get pic here…Thanks again

Xebic I had the same thing happen to me in one of the last updates, and pretty much had to collect all the fruit again (in fact I never bothered to get all of them since my achievements still show)
Thanks Rocklands ,, I got most of them back ,and then connected with my computer ,all still seemed the same ,and then I did what I should of done first ,played the last episode of the airfield 9/15 and it just took me onto new levels (I’m a bloody dill..lol).all is good …Great scores by the way ,well done …
I was wondering if there are 2 secret unattainable achievements out there… I have every single one of the achievements that are listed and its saying I’m still missing two of them. Its driving me crazy. I’ve even gone to the secret level and gotten 3 stars on everything there.

Yes, this is noted in the leading paragraph on this post. One of these secret achievements will be obtainable in the “Chapter 11” release. The other…. Well, let’s just say we should expect to see very highly destructive levels coming soon.
Two questions.
1. By highly destructive level’s, do you mean the mighty eagle is entering rio?
2. What do you know about chapter 11 that we don’t?
We haven’t heard anything about adding the Mighty Eagke to Rio, and I don’t have any inside knowledge. However, I know that one of the two “secret” achievements requires A LOT of points.
I have 52/54 achievements. This episode went too quickly as I just updated it yesterday and have already finished. Guess that was my reward after seasons Christmas 1-16 feather debacle … Thank goodness I got that :)
There is also a bugged achievement. In Angry Birds Rio, the Unlock Big brother bird achievement is missing, even though I have unlocked the big brother bird.
That’s not a bugged achievement. The achievement just does not exist.
Are there any plans to have achievements available for android?
Yup, Rovio plans to bring achievements to all platforms. I believe this will inevitably rely on the Sync System.
