Our strategy for Angry Birds Bad Piggies level 21-11 is to aim for the TNT on the far right side of the level. Do this by flinging the yellow birds towards the ropes holding up the helmet pig’s platform. This can take a few tries, but eventually you’ll blow the TNT. For the next shot fling the red bird straight ahead at the top right portion of the closest wood beam. The red bird should take out the two right pigs, while the falling debris should take out the middle ones. The score in the video below is 65,520.

So far this is the hardest level for me to three star.
I have 62K which is two stars.
Scored 65120 (3 stars) with the same strategy…hardest level in this series.
I’ve taken physical chemistry exams easier than that second shot. :( Unfortunately, no solution other than that in the walkthrough seems plausible, so I guess we’re all stuck trying to make that shot again and again and again.
Also, the key to the first shot isn’t really the TNT; it’s the “bumps” on that slanted wooden plank. You need 16-17k to have a fighting chance at three stars, and you’ll end up well below that if you don’t pass through the bumps.
@austinrhl LOL – I love the comparison!
Thank you. I would never gotten 3 stars other wise.
Difficult level. I could not get three stars by the original video. So I changed strategy….
I shot the first bird just under the swing. It took out the two birds in the wooden V, the three bumps on the slanted plank, and the TNT blows up the big pig on the right.
The second shot is essentially the same as the video, but bird bounces up taking out the swing then falls on the small left bird. Big pig killed by the long plank as in the video. This method was a bit easier for me.
I did try like you : but my score on changed strategy you describe ( I was working on that ) ; give very poor score 62 k and 63 k so : I come back to the video strategy and I got 65 910. Enough …!!! I already quit…!!!
Nice Strat. First attempt at it increase score considerably. Thanks.
Many thanks, @myselfiandme. I think this is a much better strategy than the video shows – probably a little easier, and definitely higher-scoring. I actually messed up the first bird and shot end-on into the plank of the swing, which popped the three middle pigs and bruised the rightmost one, but I figured that it couldn’t hurt to shoot the second bird and hope for some miracle. Lo and behold, the miracle occurred: the bird tipped over the left structure to pop the two leftmost pigs, and the bird bounced over into the pit on the right and finished off the big pig. I’m pretty sure this is somewhat repeatable, so the lesson is not to give up if you screw up the first shot!
How funny, I got mine exactly as @austinRhl described ;-)
Completely agree. After more than two hours (half watching playoff baseball) trying to replicate the strategy in the video, I changed to this and got 66,160 in about 5 minutes. It’s all about the extra points you get from the destruction of the ‘bumps’ and the wooden plan on the downslope. MUCH better; should replace the video with this technique.
Thank you! I got 3 stars on only the 2nd or 3rd try of your strategy! 65,700 and done!
First attempt on this strategy worked for me, thank you!
I used your strategy. That’s much better. Thanks
Thanks after lots of tries like the video I was stuck at 2 *. About 20 tries with this strategy and managed 3* with 64860. All AB 3* now.
Have to go and conquer the latest space release then on Star Wars tonight.
Thank you! Thank you! after hours and hours, this strategy worked within minutes!
Thank you!!! After hours & hours, your strategy finally paid off!! 66,530
And a few months later, improved my score from 66,610 with two bird method….to 70,910 with the one bird and pray method described below
To clarify, don’t bother to use time with this two birder…..takes a bit of work, but one birder is doable for another 4-5k.
And then on to 73,750 with about twenty minutes of additional work.. Forget two birder, one birder works great.
I worked fine. The first method sees impossible
I have three stared at every level at every game plus have the score addict points everywhere and I found it the most difficult&annoying level not just in this series but overall. Finally I got 64840 and three stars after 90 minutes of uninterrupted play and hundreds of tries. It killed me because this level is not about smartness or technique just SHEER LUCK. I say boo it off the stage :)
All games involve a combination of luck and skill. How can two precisely aimed shots, back-to-back, be considered anything other than mostly skill? if I could fling two birds, with my eyes closed, and get three stars more than once in a thousand attempts… that would be sheer luck. True, two perfect shots won’t guarantee three stars; the randomness of the universe always comes into play, even in computer games. Luck and skill. This level just requires a bit more of both. How many games out there can make this claim? No offense: This is one of those levels that separates the winners from the whiners; the champs from the chumps; the cats from the dogs; the haters from the daters; the idols from the idiots; the best from the …. And I’m glad that it takes me more than two attempts to three-star a level. My hats off to the designers at Rovio for requiring problem-solving skills, dexterity, patience and a pinch of luck on AB. Aloha.
@surfcow, surely you can see from your score and mine as well that it doesn’t matter how much skill is involved in the playing of this particular level, principally because regardless of how many times we skillfully execute our shots, the outcome of the game isn’t always decided by our skills, but rather by the game’s logic set, which dictates all possible losing scenarios before allowing you to declare a win.
In other words, the game will always throw you a bone, only to take it away again until it decides to let you win. Why else is it always necessary to replay the same game hundreds or even thousands of times just to achieve a decently high score or a top score if you’re a lucky individual.
Two bird three star strategy easily repeatable.
First bird under the swing aim to clip the right edge of the “V” that the two pigs are sitting in. Bird continues on to the big pig at the bottom. May or may not trigger Tnt.
Second bird clips the right end of the plank covering the wooden box with mystery gold thing in it. Bird bounces up to take out swing. Plank clips over and pops remaining two pigs and gold wrench
Two bonus birds.
There is a one-bird soluton possible! Aim like second bird in the video. If you are luck the bird will bounce, cut the ropes and hit the bird in the bottom. Debris will take out the 4 birds on the ground.
OMG, after hours I finally did it & exactly how you said with one bird….shocked….70030 yippee!!!
@nissemann2 your my hero one bird 72310
@nissemann2 : thanks for the tip! I improved my score by 240 points. More importantly, you figured out the solution to the puzzle for this level. By seeing or discovering that the wooden plank is not just an obstacle– it’s a ramp thats will redirect a bird so that i can get back up in the air. Congrats and thanks for sharing your one-birder. Now this level just went from head-banging-into-wall-repeatedly difficult to why-didn’t-I-think–of-that easy. Aloha.
Thanks @nisseman2, this is the way to go. Took about 45 minutes to hit a pretty high score.
Correction, thanks @nissemann2!
WOW! THANKS! I’ve been trying to three star this level for many days. The first attempt with your strategy gave 64940!!!
If I’m to understand your strategy, you shoot the yellow bird into the slanted board above the gold apple and the bird bounces up and cuts the rope to the swing and makes it’s way to the bottom where it takes out the big pib. That’s how I’m reading it but my results are completely different. I get absolutely no bounce off the slanted board, it pushes through, causing minimal damage. I’m not accellerating the bird.
Did I miss some critical piece of strategy? Am I using the right bird?
@ohforfive not sure if you even care about this level anymore, but in case you do or someone else does, here’s how I did the one-birder. I launched the yellow bird just slightly above horizontal and accelerated about midway to the first structure. The bird hit at the slanted top of the right vertical stone, bounced up and broke the ropes holding the swing, then continued on to get the bottom pig. Meanwhile, the stone that the bird hit fell onto the two pigs to its right. Here’s the best part: the pig that fell out of the swing actually took out the two pigs below it when it fell! Guess the helmet did the trick. ;) Didn’t get the tnt to explode or do much other damage, but having 30k from unused birds sure makes a difference.
@hallieginsb Currently, I’m going through the original bringing my scores up to the average when I got some new levels in an update. So I’ll be doing that for a few days before I get back to the rest of the levels. I did spend an hour on 20-11, and I recall that when I stopped, that strat was what I’d been doing. I still didn’t get the results I was looking for, but I’ll come back to it later.
Thanks of the tip.
@hallieginsb thank you so much for the detail, this worked for me. The toughest part for me was getting the bottom right pig, you have to go through the swing at just the right angle otherwise it slows the yellow bird down & he doesn’t have enough oomph to get that pig. Finally it worked for a 1-birdie.
I didn’t ever want to play this one again, it was one of the toughest AB levels ever for me to 3-star, but I was only a hundred or so above average so had to try again. Sheer cruelty making this the Challenge ;)
@karen68 I did not realize this level was today’s challeng until I saw your comment. Nice to see that you and so many others are getting the one-birder. I agree, it’s a dastardly level! The only good thing I can say about this strat is that you know very quickly whether or not the shot works, which makes it easy to repeat, repeat, repeat until it succeeds. I spent some time today seeing if I could improve my score and did manage to pick up another 1,400 points – and now I plan never to return!
@hallieginsb…Good grief! I remember spending hours trying to get a decent score on this level. Then today, I tried your strat, 3rd time was the charm and a great score. Thanks so much!
ty @hallieginsb for so much detail, made it easier to visualise.
Great strat @hallieginsb! 71230 on a 1-birder using your strat, but in my case, Chuck was the one who fell and took care of the lower right piggy. :)
I was using this strategy for two birds score, with red bird cleaning up bottom bird, till I got a lucky bounce for one bird score of 71,040:)I would suggest using speed boost for a higher success rate.
@nissemann2 thanks for the strat! Awesome that I got the three stars. I will not be back! @hallieginsb thanks for the aiming tips!
This is odd – the yellow bird is missing from the sling. It flashes in & out when I pull the sling back then appears & stays once I let it fly. Don’t think I’ve ever seen this happen anywhere before. Makes aiming a little tricky.

@nissemann2, thanks. I’ve been trying to improve old scores and came across your strategy. I went from 66k to 71k in about forty minutes using your approach. A few times I got all pigs but the one at the far right and can see even higher potential scores. Thank you for sharing.

Congrats on the 🐶. Question. Did you use an older version? Mac perhaps? I ask because my original score is from around 2013 probably done on a Mac. Don’t have that any more 🤨 and BS and iOS don’t do it. Thanks.
Maybe I can answer your question: I was completely stuck playing with the actual Android version on my tablet, getting just a few points above average. After watching the videos by @comex666, especially the highscore video on youtube, I gave it another try on PC with an older version (4.0) – and what a difference! After adjusting the starting angle I quickly got 71k, and was a few times only short of 73k+ but it was only a matter of time until finally worked.
To get maximum points the 3 small wooden pieces on the right must be hit. But this is no garantee for success as most of the time the bird has not enough punch to kill the piggy beside the TNT. I got lucky when one of the pieces went down and hit the pig, so the following bird has just enough momentum to go through that piece and also get the last piggy.
Many thanks to @comex666 for posting the excellent videos!

One of those lucky days. About 5 attempts using BS and the @comex666 approach and it just happened deceptively simply, as it often does when high scores are beaten.

@sweetp for pup. I think that might be my 40th, not sure.
74190/1, sorry!
Thanks for that. 👍
@steviep147
I have version 4.0.0 on my old MAC.
what I found out is the distance of the mouse pointer to the Zwille. Same point but different results, that’s where the difference comes from.
Thanks Michael. Couldn’t get anywhere near a one bird. Others managed though so it is still possible.
75010 with one bird.
Same strategy as described by @nissemann2. Thanks a lot.
Here is the final result.
And this is the highscore screenshot.
All the screenshots are also available in high res here in one set.
@sweetp
I think this means that 5 different people have held the trophy for this level in one day. Need to lock the trophy cabinet doors folks.
Thanks @nissemann2 for the post and @comex666 for the video. Was able to obtain the one bird only once. Just have to hit the right spot to get the bounce. Challenging level to play.
As @Nissemann2 commented, there is a one-birder possible here.
I generally had most success reversing the shots in the video. This has two advantages: 1. The difficult shot first, and 2. The possibility of a one-birder.
Can’t agree more. The second shot in the video with the red bird could be a pain in our butts, but with the yellow bird it becomes rather handy (hit by the slanted surface of the second stone pillar). With this I finally completed the 3-star feat with 65k.
In addition, if nobody minds here, I would like to introduce a new term called the “time-out effect”. This means you attempt a level to no avail, take a break (time-out), return, and end up with 3-star/personal high/global high(?!). I’ve experienced this several times within this update, including this level.
Nissemann2’s strategy works, even if you dont complete the level with a single bird, you still have a very high chance of touching the three star threshold for sure. . .
Got 65440 with the same method. Took a while though.
64310 got three stars after many attempts using suggested method. Moving on happy with that.
74390
One birder – Ricochet YB off the top of the second vertical stone block. With luck, it will drop the swinging piggy, taking out the pigs below, and continue down to the piggy near the TNT.
I haven’t gotten this to happen yet, but I can see how it can. Thanks!
I’m getting crazy. Very hard. So far 63k is my best. The only level I have not 3-starred yet. That’s why I came in for “tips”. Will keep trying.
I finally 3 starred it at 66270 trying to do the one birder thing described above. It didn’t work for me, but the red bird took off the swing, and made it to the well for the TNT and the pig there.
I may(or may not) come back to this level in the future! It was very frustrating!
blimey, your not wrong about this level been hard. It took me quite a lot of goes, but eventually managed to score 67040 following the video. Thanks
I read all the comments, tried some of the methods and then went back to the original movie and finally got three *** on second try. Just barely got past 64K though.
This is painful.
Finally! 3 Star thanks to above suggestions — not video. After trying on my own to 3 star (last level remaining for me to 3 star), I came here and tried the video approach — but to no avail. I only got to 62K – 63K, after a billion times trying (or so it seemed), so frustrating… Then after reading other comments I tried shooting (first) yellow bird like second red bird in video, i.e., into right ramp plank. And then like others discovered, the ramp projects yellow bird up, taking out other pigs in middle. Then I used (second) red bird to take out big pig to the right. Got 64,180 — barely 3 star but good enough! I’m done, 3 star all levels….
Hi everybody, I have uploaded a video showing the alternative way to get 3 stars for this level:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28PEZk4A3L4
Finally, after 6 1/2 hours, 3 stars on this level using the yellow bird slide. 64010.
Score – 66120
Yes! Agreed, this the hardest level I’ve played n a while! The trick on the 2nd shot w/the red bird is to hit the board in the center of th area at which it touches the tallest angles gray rock or brick. This gave me the best chance to get the gold wrench and it helps in not breaking the board so the board can SMASH the last piggie. Hope this helps.
My wife has just put Aerosmith’s CD “Get a Grip” on – Track no. 11. Does she mean me? Or this level? Both in a way……..
Finally got above average by using YB to ricochet off of the vertical stone, takes out the wrench & all piggies for a 1-birdie!!
Also tried the video method which actually helped me to get the 3 stars, but the struggle was to get an above average score!
One other method I tried was to fire YB in an arc rolling under the wooden plank under the ledge & hoping that that would break the plank & kill all the pigs with its trajectory & the debris – slightly easier than the video & possibly another way to get a 1-birder!!
How do you ricochet of the vertical block ?????
Finally got all pigs with yellow bird using above method. Aim for the triangle wedge at the top of the second vertical concrete pillar. Use wedge to launch yellow bird tumbling into the swing and topple the concrete pillar onto two pigs below. By a miracle, tumbling yellow bird fell onto tnt piggy. Score: 71,690.
Yellow bird into wood at stone support. Stone falls onto pigs on left. Yellow birds knocks shelf down onto pigs on right., also killing pig on shelf.
Red bird high to pig on right and blows TNT.
I was trying too see what is the gold disk in the wood box. Shot at it and YB bounced off the top board and meandered about killing all the pigs. 70K one birdie. Did not pop the tnt. Off to the next hard one to three star.
Tried a different method-shot the yellow bird low under the swing pig, yb hit two little pigs to the right and then the tnt and the pig in the lower right. Shot red bird to hit swing and broke the swing rope and sent the wooden part of wing into the remaining 2 piggies. Only got 67 and change but finally 3 starred it.
Tired of trying all of the above strategies? During the challenge, I managed two one birders, but they only scored about 62,000 points. Very frustrating. Anyway, if you are hoping for an easy solution, I don’t have it. I do have a completely different, miserably difficult shot that might work. See the little board way on top with the rock on it? I figured it must be there for something. I’m sure we have all tried just shooting at it, which does nothing useful. What you need to do is shoot in a high arc and just barely graze the board. Yes, this is a difficult shot, but what shot isn’t difficult in this level? If you hit it right, the bird will skim along the top and take out the bottom right pig. The falling swing will take out the two top right pigs. The falling rock will take out the top left big pig and also probably the golden wrench. I have gotten that far a couple of times, but you will notice that I left out the little middle pig. That one was left, but it was moving enough that I think it would go with some extra luck. This is not a new miracle strategy, but at least it is something different to try and it might give a high score if anyone can do it. I’m still trying.
72490 1 bird, shooting it like the second bird in the video.
You know I like a challenge as much as the next person but some of these are so hard that it takes the fun out of it and just makes it frustrating I have been working on this one for week now and can’t get past 2 stars grrrr
I used the video method above, and finally scored got 65,180
As everyone has noted, this IS a very difficult level. Kind of like threading a needle while blindfolded. However, as the saying goes, necessity is the mother of invention.
After MUCH frustration, I accidentally came up with this solution:
1. Aim Bird #1 at the structure with the yellow apple (?) in it. Aim for the topmost “triangle” (don’t know what else to call it) defined by wood and stone, accelerate the bird and hit the stone on the right. This will break the wood, hit the stone and cause the stone to not only hit the large pig and gold wrench but also flip over to hit the small pig.
2. Aim Bird #2 above the “pig on the ceiling”. With some luck you will cause the pig on the ceiling to land in the middle of the two pigs on the bottom. And with even more luck Bird #2 will continue with enough energy to hit the “pig in the pit”, thus giving you a two-birder and 20,000 extra points.
I HAVE gotten a 1-birder using this technique, but it involves the first bird to bounce up, after it has taken care of the 2 pigs and the wrench on the left, “liberate” the pig on the ceiling and miraculously continue to the pig in the pit.
I hope this helps.
