One strategy for Angry Birds Bad Piggies level 21-6 is to fire the Blue bird into the two ice triangles next to the medium pig. With a bit of luck, this can domino to detonate both TNTs, clearing all pigs with a single shot! The score in the video below is 84,970.

3 stars is going to be somewhere between 79920 and 85160. It seems that the key to a one-birder for this level would be to hit the two triangular ice blocks with enough momentum to cause the top to pivot to the right taking out the far right TNT.

That works, mostly. However, a 1-birder is highly dependent upon how things break after the blues hit the structure.

I absolutely loathe these levels that depend solely on stuff falling the right way. I’ve been at it for twenty minutes now, hitting the exact same spot every time, and there’s always at least one pig left when everything’s collapsed.

LOVE the flying chainsaws! So basically, this level can be 3 starred two ways that I can see. One is the above way, which yielded me over 86K points so far. The other isn’t really any better and may take more tries, but here it is anyway: Launch the first bird in a medium high arch, bouncing at least one bird off of the suspended sacks in the trees, and one bird off the top saw, knocking it to the right. The ensuing topple will clear all pigs in about 1 in 10 tries for me. My best score with that stretegy yielded only about 83K, so it’s not an improvement yet.

A slight variation which to me at least seems a little better than the video: aim a bit more upwards and split about one third of the distance from the slingshot to the centre of the pile. The lowest bird should hit the triangle and the upper the chainsaw. I’m not sure why but this seems to ignite the middle TNT more consistently.

Hi @f91jsw, thanks for your tip about aiming a little higher but I don’t quite understand your textual description.

I just obtained my 1-birder high score of 93,580 by splitting the blue bird around the location where I marked with a red cross-hair in my High Score Screenshot (with Blue-bird Splitting Location).

There’s a lot of luck involved in getting the high scores so it’s possible to split the blue bird at different locations and still get similar or even higher scores.

Thank you @f91jsw for the post on aiming the Blue Bird higher. I did that but activated BB a bit later. Tried to activate it over the left most glass triangle. All three birds hit the glass under the big pig in a wider pattern and the upper chain saw fell to the right on its own. What I tried to accomplish with the 3 BBs is to clear a path to the gold wrench at the bottom so that when the left most tnt exploded debris would hit the wrench. When I obtained this score of 93k, the explosion of the left tnt appeared to be somewhat more intense and cleared everything to the left.
This level was a challenge because of the lack of aiming/launching reference points, just a “fling and a pray”. If one keeps playing a good outcome will eventually be gained.

Hi @uncle-b. I think also depends on which version you play. Out of interest I checked out my old iPhone which has ver 4.2, and compared it with version 7.9 on my iPad. I played them alternately for an hour and the gameplay is consistently different. On the old version, when the top chain saw topples to the right, the glass structure underneath most crumbles, often setting off the TNT underneath. On the new version it stays pretty much intact as the chain saw falls over. For what it’s worth the sacks in the tree hang differently, but that doesn’t seem to affect anything. I got 87590 on my third fling on the old version, compared to 86570 on the new one after hundreds of flings. Both 1-birders.

Technically speaking, this level does not have a proper 3-star strategy. All you can do is to shoot the blue bird(s) repeatedly and see how the debris fall.

That’s right. Rovio have made this level even harder in the new version. In the new version, you’ll need more destruction to get 3 stars and also, there is no way you can complete the level in the new version with a 1-birder.

@dungphant not true about not being able to get 1 birders now. I’ve had several but none that have gotten over 87k so far. I’m still trying to break 90k, it’s all about luck on debris breaking.

Rinse and Repeat! I got my high score how @f91jsw described. Slightly higher then video, split early, even slightly sooner then one third of the way.
The bottom blue hit the the blue triangle behind the middle piggy. The top blue hit the top chainsaw. Then it’s just a matter of luck and how things decide to fall. I had very litle debris left and part of the stone and wood structure under the first bigger pig fell over leftward. I also got the wrench.
I did the same shot dozens of other times so it wasn’t real gratifying when I got the score because it’s really just luck on how “the cookie crumbles”. Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy with my score but honestly their wasn’t any real skill involved…more luck I think then anything. GL ;-)

OK, I get the one birder for around 88K to 89K. So wast is the trick of getting a one birder AND the golden wrench on the left side? I”ve hit it just one time in about 200 attempts!

On my second shot I scored 83,000+, and I figured it would be a snap to get it above the aveage of 86,584. Two hours later I got it to 86,370. Two hours after that I’m still trying for that final 214 points. This is one loathsome level.

Have they changed bad piggies in recent upgrades? Because in many levels things are way more stable. This level can’t be done with one bird (on Android phone). The digonal glass plank above little piggy on TNT never ever slids out of position.

Finally! Got 86,190 in the new version in my iPad! Used 2 birds. Yes, Rovio has changed this in the new update. My strategy is: First BB as same as the video, but the top chainsaw fall to the left, pop all of the pigs in the left side. You must destroy the golden wrench in order to get 3 stars. Second BB into the rectangle wooden plank which is below the triangle wooden plank. Strong BBs should make the wooden planks fall on the TNT and make it explode. This will cause an another destruction in the right side. It’s all based on luck to get 3 stars. It may be a little harder to get 3 stars on phones but you should give it a try in the new version. Took about 50-65 tries to get this shot. Also, watch out for the far-left small pig, far-right pig which is sitting on the far-right chainsaw and also the Golden Wrench because it’s hard to destroy those.

try flinging first one a little lower with an early split so bottom blue kills the lower pig and upper blue breaks the horizontal platform causing the concrete chainsaw to tip left. When I finally 3-starred (barely) the chainsaw knocked over a lot of that wood/stone structure on the left and cleared the wood out of the way of the TNT, but left one piggy. the second one to the TNT, and a rock flew over the top and got the pesky left piggy.

Just trying this level again @dungphant, as I noticed when I opened Bad Piggies for today’s challenge (22-6) that I’m still only 2-star on my iPad for this level – 21-6. Got 86K last time I played on my iPhone, but now cannot break 81K. I’ve read the link comments about this issue, and have to say that whatever they did here has really messed the level up. Reading comments from good players, it was never an easy level, so why they made it more difficult is beyond logic. Congrats on getting the 3*, but I think it’s going to be beyond most players as it stands. I hope they never put this up as a challenge. When 3* is almost impossible, 95K would be a joke!!

Well, getting 3 stars is easy if you try, try again, but if you want to get a higher score than that, you have to do more retries…

Probably did it the same as most others. I just keep retrying until I at least get a little higher then the average score. Just hit the right spot finally.
