Angry Birds Free 3 Star Walkthrough Cake 4 Level 3

Our strategy for Angry Birds Free Birdday Party (Birthday Party) Cake 4 level 3 is to fire the first Blue bird straight ahead, but high enough to minimize the amount of debris left behind. With the next bird, keep it low enough to break the ice block just left of the central pig. So long as the pig is exposed, it is not necessary for him to pop on this shot. Fire another bird into the right-most structure, and debris should clear all remaining pigs.

Same as description above video. Worked well for obtaining 3 stars.

Wish I could give some guidance here. I was sitting in the waiting room at the kids doctor and got a lucky shot. It was a single shot, high, and I split the bird pretty early, but I do not remember any more details than that.

Wow, that’s a nice score Burbman! I’ve had a go, but can’t seem to get your luck – I nearly got it one time aiming at quite a steep angle to get the bird in between the gap after the first tower, splitting shortly before impact. I needed the second bird at the back structure, and would have got 95k, except the game crashed an died on me before it registered the score!

Thank you! And congratulations on your incoming space box! I think I split the bird early so that the three each hit a different part of the structure. It fell real slow but got all the pigs.

Seems the key is in the cakes – get them or most of them – and you’ve got a high score. I can’t seem to pull it off though.

The trick seems to be in both the trajectory and the timing of the release. It takes time but I usually manage to coordinate the both of them. This level is no exception.

Rock and ice block levels normally give more points if all birds are used. I used all three and yes the cakes are vital for high scores! They are difficult to brake though.

Method in video is ok. With first bird at least one of the cakes need to be taken down. Both if you aiming for top score. Second bird bit more brutal and third to finish. And 10 k bonus.

I did some reruns on these levels since I though my tips could be better. With 4 birds I scored 95k. First bird hits ice and cake falls on top of each other, wooden block brakes the cakes (27k 1st bird). Second was miss fire since I did not get the middle pig, third did it. Fourth was looped the way that I did get the 2 pigs and remaining 2 cakes.
My top score was with 3 birds though.

my 3 bird strategy is similar to the one of juslas.

first bird much as in the video although i usually aim somewhat lower to make the lower of the three birds after tapping
bounce off the top leftmost wood onto the cake, to improve the chances for taking out both cakes
(the brown cake on the left breaks when two birds fall on top of it, with sufficient speed).
the difficulty is the top (pink) cake; if it bounces off to the far left; restart. if it falls down to the
left close to or on top of the other cake: hope for stone/wood or other elements fall on top of it either
directly or with your second shot (see below). if the pink cake stays somewhere on top, break it with the
second shot. (the number of points you have now is not that important; what counts is that there are no/not
too many `loose’ glass block)

second bird much as in the video; only proceed if both the glass below and above the horizontal wood of the middle structure
are accessible, and tap to split the bird into one going below it, and two above it (another reason for aiming the first paper at
the top leftmost wood, since if that’s gone it’s easier to take aim to reach the elements below the wood).
anyway, i take a low trajectory and aim only the bottom of the three birds to go below the horizontal wood,
since the passage is often narrow. if there are still 1 or 2 cakes on the bottom left, then hope for the horizontal
wood to start shifting to its left pushing material onto the cake(s) breaking it.
this should take out all of the left and middle structure, and this should give you around 50,000 points
(not that frequent; maybe once every 5 minutes for me; more often than not some pig stays alive or
cakes don’t break)). it may also cause the top-rightmost pig too sloowly roll to the left and fall down,
taking out some glass/wood which will give you 6,000 points more.

third bird as in the video; tap just before collision and aim such that the lower of the three birds ends
up somewhat below the small horizontal wood (if that’s still there). total destruction.

my highscore started from 57,000 after the second bird, and all cakes were taken out after the third.
still, several elements (glass) on the left remained and some on the right.
since i’ve scored high in the 59,000s after the second bird, my guess is that scores
of at least 105,000 are feasible with this strategy.
(as a fall back strategy i sometimes tried with 4 birds, but never got higher than 98,000 with that
with almost no elements left; haven’t tried the one bird strategy mentioned by burbman
(or two-bird-strategies))

Thanks for posting. It gave me a better idea of what I wasn’t doing. 3 starred it with 3 birds used, 93,910. Can’t help it if I’m lucky.
