@wrw01 Per your thought on the multi/short tournaments! I would have to guess, Rovio is hoping people either buy, or use all their pu’S?? It just doesn’t make any common sense as to the current format.
I would like to see them revert, to the once weekly tournament!! They can even add a few levels, if so be. But this 3 per week is absolutely lame!! I keep writing them, asking of they are listening to the users, or the developers???
@terribletom I agree, this makes no sense for the end users. Yes it is different and new but it is also illogical, burdensome and stupid for the end users. That’s why I speculate there is an advantage to Rovio. You may be correct about the PUs and they wanting more money but it may also be the costs of labor for developers. When my PUs are gone I am finished playing ABF. They will not receive a US penny due to these types of strategies of presenting the games.
I quit AB2 due to all the cheaters and hackers that they would not eliminate from the games each day and this one will not be different due to their lack of focus and concern for the end users. Venting yes!
I’m not sure that you can get 3 stars without PUs on all of these levels. There have been a few in the past that were that way.
I also agree about all of the tournaments, etc. I mostly only play non-Pu now or at least limit it to a very few each tournament.
I did manage three stars on each with no power up, on mobile. 5 and 6 in particular were brutal, and I remember seeing them from Star Cup in the past. For 5 it finally happened that the pile of stone blocks under the second tower collapsed nearly completely, and for 6 it took a very lucky shot with bubbles that took out a lot of material on its way to the right and blew up a ton of stuff when it popped near the right hand tower. I really don’t like either of those levels, as they are so hard to get much damage without power ups.
