I took a pic showing where I saw that ad for original angry birds I hope I can post it here now!!?? I agree wholeheartedly Terribletom! It brought me back to level 7 AGAIN!! ☹️

It is asking me to update the app, I click update , it goes to the App Store with no option to update, how do I update and be able to play?
I am having the same situation. It says it is loading and appears to stop at about the 40% level. On Wi-Fi and have 100% battery.
Any advice?
Deleted the app and reloaded it. Still the same results. Seems like it will not permit an update. Just stuck at the Games Center open screen for the game.
I finally got it it cost 99 cents but all my stats are gone I’ll have to do all over again but I’ll have something to do off line I hope?? Oops I forgot to see if it can be played the way the old one was off line now seasons please!!! And Rio etc. etc. etc. lol God bless! Happy flinging folks!! Here’s to the squeaky wheel getting greased 🤣
