If you tap the pause menu in any level of Angry Birds you’ll see a news item that says, “Join the Hunt for the Golden Eggs!” (shown in the images below). When you tap this icon it will open the teaser video which is also shown below.

Golden Egg Hunt clues * thus far (thanks to RLZIII for keeping us up-to-date):
- #1 – Head to this page on BirdLife International and answer the question. The answer is found on the website, but whether you answer correct or not you are sent to a page that has an image of birds flying with the text “Easter Level 2”. Upon clicking the image you are sent to another page that clearly shows where to get the Golden Egg in Angry Birds Seasons: Easter Eggs level 1-2.
* Don’t forget, these are NOT new Golden Eggs, so if you don’t want to hassle with this check out our complete walkthrough that shows the location of EVERY Golden Egg in EVERY version of Angry Birds Seasons.
Below are the websites shown in the original video that has since been removed. It’s not a stretch to assume that the next clue will be on one of these sites.

Definitely interesting! The video is quite cool actually. As for the secret levels in Easter, unless an update of some sort comes during Easter time or something is downloaded in the background through wifi/3G, I believe we have found everything.

The post doesn’t say “the last update for Angry Birds Seasons”. It says “the latest update for Angry Birds Seasons”. As in, the newest update. Rovio’s made it clear that Angry Birds Seasons will be around for a long while.

I think it will be the last holiday one, then we go back to Halloween which would probably include an update to that. The only other major holiday would be 4th of July. I guess they could do something for that, I mean Rovio is pretty clever with all the updates. They’re the best.

I am not to sure about this but I think the Red Bird being in space could be a clue to the next Angry Birds full version update! Either that or a new Angry Birds version is coming out. Reply and let me know what you think.

Well that was rubbish… first clue today and all it did was reveal a golden egg we already knew about. Why do i get the feeling this is going to be a massive anticlimax and that actually we’ve found all we can?
What was it all about? The video has now been removed and the Bird Life site, which I presume contains the clue, is too busy and not responding. So far, I’m not really feeling the Alternate Reality love.

Ok, so the video has been removed. When I click on the ‘Join the hunt…’ link on the news screen after pausing ABS, all that happens is I get taken to a website called birdlife.org and that tells me nothing.
Can anyone shed some light on this subject? What is the point of the link? What is the clue?
I’ve updated the post above with the new video. Rovio removed the logos that were on the Golden Eggs, so they are now blank. So far the “clues” look to be for Golden Eggs we already found.
A new version of the video was uploaded, and the previous one removed. The video can be found here. It seems identical, except that fact that the logos for the companies were removed (so now the Golden Eggs are simply blank). The reason for this I am unsure of.
I had a feeling that these clues would just be the Golden Eggs we already found. However, it’s still interactive for the people that don’t play the game as much. I don’t think that this is the “alternate reality” game that Rovio hinted at. I think this is simply an Easter Egg Hunt.

The clue is pretty easy to find (I have a feeling they’ll get harder). You have to answer a question correctly and you are taken to a clue about the Golden Egg found in ABS:EE level 1-2. Upon clicking the clue, it will actually take you to an image of exactly where the Golden Egg is hidden.

Maybe they will unlock more eggs in the other seasons levels? Also seems like a waste of time to give clues to the eggs already found… They weren’t that hard.

All of this stuff is no good for us. From the beginning I have been practically 100% positive that these are just silly clues for the eggs we already have. Some people are a lil slow at the game, and rovio is trying to make Easter a bit fun. Move along. Not much to see here :D

I think it’s just part of the background scenery. I got the white bird to fall “on” the egg, but the bird is simply in front of the egg.
Watching the old Rovio walk through videos (which are the ones posted on this website) it seems like that “Golden Egg” has always been there. Funny enough I’ve never noticed it. But it doesn’t seem like it had ever been anything more than part of the background…

Indeed, they’ve been there from the beginning. We have a walkthrough here that shows the location of all 22 Golden Eggs that are in the original version (this assumes you have the most up-to-date version).
Oh yeah I have all those, thought they meant new ones, dangit! I wanted new challenges!
Ok at least I found the link for GMA which is what is being promoted on Facebook right now for the next clue.. However, as suspected it is just a clue to obtaining the golden egg in Easter 1-16, which we have already found and obtained.. However, it was fun searching the GMA website to obtain the video…

I found a Golden Egg on the recently update of Season (Easter Eggs) on level 1-6 anyone else found it?, my questions Is that I can’t see where to play the unlocked level ?
Check the third page on Easter’s level selection screen. (Page 1 is 1-15, 2 is 16-18 Twitter, 3 is golden eggs)
