Welcome to the most complete Angry Birds Golden Eggs guide on the web. By following this guide you can unlock all 35 Golden Eggs and enjoy some fun — and sometimes challenging — new levels! Using this guide is simple, just match the number on the image below to the instructions further down the page. Golden Egg #1
Pause any level and press the "?" (help) button in the bottom left hand corner. The Golden Egg will be on the White Bird instruction screen. Note, you have to have unlocked the White Bird before the White Bird instruction screen will appear.
Golden Egg #2Mighty Hoax Level 5-19 (Rocket Ship)
The Golden Egg is located on the right side off the screen directly above the rocket ship. If you zoom out and throw a Yellow Bird in that direction you will see it when the screen moves up a little. You can reach it with either a Yellow Bird or with the White Bird. If you opt to use the White Bird drop a bomb to the right of the wood sticking up on the first tower and the bird will take off and hit the Golden Egg (probably easier to use the Yellow Bird).
Golden Egg #5
On the main screen press the "i" (credits) button and watch the credits all the way to the end and the Golden Egg will appear under the White Bird.
Golden Egg #6Poached Eggs Level 1-8
Tap the treasure chest (I had to tap several times).
PC & Mac users: To open the treasure chest, depress the caps-lock key then click and hold the left mouse button over the treasure chest and then type open.
Golden Egg #8Mine and Dine Level Selection Screen
v3.3.0 and higher: Currently obtained on the headlamp of the smaller pig in the Mine and Dine Level Selection Screen.
v3.2.0 and lower: Originally obtained on the episode select screen double-tap the sun below the levels (bottom center).
Golden Egg #9Mighty Hoax Level 4-7
Zoom out and Golden Egg will be on top of the cliff on the right. Aim and hit it with the Yellow Bird.
Golden Egg #10Danger Above Level 6-14
Break yellow balloon under the treehouse. You can bounce the Yellow Bird off the tree or use the Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #11Danger Above Level Selection Screen
Once on the Danger Above Level Selection Screen, drag the screen to the left until you can't go any further. You'll see the Golden Egg hidden on the right past the last group of levels.
PC & Mac users: You have to click inside the window and then drag.
Golden Egg #13Danger Above Level 8-15
The Golden Egg is under the slingshot platform. To get it just bounce a Yellow Bird off the trampoline on the bottom right across from the Golden Egg or use Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #14The Big Setup Level 9-14
Zoom out and if you look closely you will see the Golden Egg on the bottom right hiding under a hard hat. Use a Boomerang Bird to hit it.
Golden Egg #16The Big Setup Level 11-15
Zoom out to see the whole level and you will see the Golden Egg to the left below the slingshot. Hit it with the Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #18Ham 'Em High level 12-12
Destroy the trophy in the middle of the level that sits between the two piles of jewels. This one is not easy to get!
Golden Egg #19Ham 'Em High level 13-10
First zoom out. Now launch a white bird and at the right time tap the screen to launch him up in the air to hit the Golden Egg.
Golden Egg #20Ham 'Em High level 14-4
First zoom all the way out and you'll see the Golden Egg on the top of the cliff to the far right. Launch a yellow bird at a high trajectory and tap him at just the right time to arch him up and over to the Golden Egg. Note, on PC/Mac this was formerly Golden Egg #22.
Golden Egg #21
Obtain 3 stars on all levels of Ham 'Em High, including all the three Facebook levels.
Super Bowl / Rio #22Ham 'Em High level 13-12
Zoom out then shoot a white bird backwards and drop an egg bomb on the back side of the hill. We were the first ones to find this secret Golden Egg. We have a much more detailed walkthrough and post about this level here. Note, on PC/Mac this was formerly Golden Egg #20.
Golden Egg #23Mine And Dine level 15-12
Zoom out and you'll see the Golden Egg sitting on top of ridge. Aim a yellow bird at a high trajectory (click for screenshot) and time the speed burst to get the Golden Egg. You can also get it with a white bird, though it might be a little trickier.
Golden Egg #24Mine And Dine level 16-9
Zoom out and the you'll find Golden Egg is sitting on top of the cave on the right. You can use your first yellow bird to take out the stone structure above the slingshot. This makes for a slightly easier shot, but you don't have to do this. Aim the second yellow bird and hit the speed burst at the right time to nail the Golden Egg. Timing is tricky, so it may take a couple times. When in doubt, just watch the video walkthrough.
Golden Egg #26Mine And Dine level 17-12
Zoom out and you'll see a treasure chest sitting up high on top of the second rock ledge. Burn your red and white birds and then shoot a yellow bird at a very high arch so it clears the front ledge. Time the speed burst so it clears the first and second ledge and nicks the top left corner of the treasure chest.
Golden Egg #27Birdday Party Cake 2 Level 6
Zoom out and you'll see the Golden Egg sitting up on a ledge on the top right hand side of the level. Burn the Blue Birds and nail it with your Yellow Speedster.
Golden Egg #28Birdday Party Cake 3 Level 14
The Golden Egg is not visible, but it is certainly in this level. To reveal the Egg, destroy the TNT cake on the left side of the structure. In doing so, the Egg will appear behind the slingshot platform. Use the last Boomerang bird, flung backwards, to reach it.
Golden Egg #29Red's Mighty Feathers level 24-8
The Golden Egg is not visible, but rather hidden in the motor suspended high above the level. It's a very tricky shot to reach, but the Yellow bird is your best bet for cutting the rope holding the motor.
Golden Egg #30
Obtain 3 stars on all classic levels of Red's Mighty Feathers -- namely 24-1 through 24-15. You do not need to 3-star the Egg Defender Levels.
Golden Egg #31Short Fuse level 26-15
The Golden Egg is not visible, but rather hidden under the slingshot platform. Use the Boomerang bird to enter the cave and obtain the Egg.
Golden Egg #32BirdDay 5 Level 30-15
The Golden Egg is high above the level, out of sight unless you zoom out. A well-shot Yellow bird can reach it, if you dare.

Special RED Golden Egg (#33 - iOS Only)
This special Golden Egg level was added in support of (RED)'s fight to end AIDS. The level is unlocked by simply tapping the Golden Egg that appears at the bottom of the episode selection screen.
Golden Egg #34Golden League Sticker
The Golden League sticker Golden Egg is found hidden in the Golden League sticker in the Angry Birds Mighty League.
Golden Egg #35BirdDay 7 Stickers
The BirdDay 7 Golden Egg is found hidden in one of the BirdDay 7 stickers in the Angry Birds Mighty League.
King Pig Level
In the v2.2.0, a new "Golden Egg"-like level called the "King Pig Level" was released for iPad (other platforms in v2.3.0). This level is unlocked by obtaining three stars on all levels up to and including Birdday Party. For more information, read more in the v2.2.0 release post.

Did you know a few months ago I dreamed an episode which had the same picture on the episode selection screen.
How a part of the block managed to fall automatically?
If you use the Mighty Eagle for the 12-12 golden egg it will NOT work, you are only allowed to use normal birds.
On the first page of golden eggs I have all 15 but on the second page I only have 2. When you click on the egg in the middle a fat red bird appears with the sun rising in the background, how do you get the star for this egg? Thanks
Are you on an Android phone? If so, there is a known bug in this level that Rovio said will be fixed with the next update.

I am stuck on this too (using Android version 1.42). Not sure if / when 1.5 will fix this.

finally blew up the treasure chest on level 12-9 using robotron method. It worked….but no egg. Hard to believe that they would dangle that treasure chest out there and not put anything in it.

You just have to tap the chest, not blow it up.
From December 24……
“Launch red bird to smash wood as high up as possible. First black bird blows up more wood by wall. Bounce second black bird off of red bird and blow it up when it gets to he wall.”
took a few tries, but eventually i got it. If you blow up one of the bomb birds when it is next to the wall, you get a “contrecoup” damage to treasure chest. It just pops, and that is that.
I must of missed that one. Very cool!
There’s a much quicker way to get the star in the 18th Golden Egg. Zoom out fully and you will see 4 TNT boxes hanging from balloons, send the yellow bird up to take out the 4 balloons and the TNT falls taking out most of the structure/pigs underneath

No, 12-12 is how you get the Golden Egg. The TNT boxes hanging from the balloons are on the actual 18th Golden Egg level. If you watch the second video above it shows both.
Note please-after update 1.5 where ham ’em high is added, golden eggs 5 and 6 change into levels with lots of pigs.
Interesting. I didn’t know that, but I presume that’s to remedy issues with devices that don’t support multi-touch. I will have confirm.

Where did you find the 19th golden egg? I won’t believe it until I see it for myself. I could Photoshop that in about 2 seconds.
Fairly sure it is a photoshop, the 19th egg is on the wrong angle compared to previous page. Other eggs line up perfectly.

Are you on an iPhone, iTouch or iPad? The 1.5 update, which includes the Mighty Eagle and Ham ‘Em High, is currently only out for those platforms. It will be coming out to other platforms soon.
Egg #15, level 10-3: I smashed the duck under the bridge (more than once), even finished the level and I get no egg. Is there an explanation for this? Any help would be appreciated.
Are you sure you don’t already have it? It will pop up only once. I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I’ve seen it before. What platform are you on?

Probably when all the levels are out (i.e. chapter 13 and 14).
your numbers don’t match up for the eggs. Egg 7 is a 3-star job, not the chest on 1-8
Hey – Thanks for catching this. It should be 100% accurate now. What’s funny is A LOT of the Golden Egg walkthroughs on the net were copied in whole or in part from this one, so they’re all wrong as well.
Help! My golden eggs screen doesnt include eggs 12, 13 or 14 – and the eggs don’t appear where they are supposed to in 8-15 or 9-14 either…is this something to do with the update to 1.5? I am running the game on an iphone 4.

Where are the non smashing golden egg screens? Toward the end of your video there are the two nostril touch, radio and the order to touch screen shots…I can’t find those on my game (running on iPhone 4 – most recent OS and Angry Birds version).

I need help ! I have on my incredable Droid phone Angry Birds version 1.4.2 an I am stuck in the golden eggs on the second page with the two eggs the top egg that when open shows a bird in a field with sunshine I can’t get the star for that egg cause it will not shoe all that it is suppose too. Plus I can’t get the game to go to level 12-1 is there a glitch or another update I can get to fix problem or will I have to download a new version. I really don’t want to start all over again so please help.
I enjoyed reading these tips and I wanted to point out that none of the eggs are found in the movie segments of the game at the beginning and end of each chapter. It might be a good idea to check it out if you haven’t already. cheers :)

Hi I have the same problem with my Angry Birds 1.4.2 (Android) 17 Golden Agg cannot be open :(
I have the MacBook version of Angry Birds and the iPhone game. I like this game loads and loads. On the iPhone I have all the stars and golden eggs.
I am trying to get the golden egg on 1-8 treasure chest on the Mac version of the game and nothing seems to work??

What do you do with the #4 golden egg? it just shows pics of all the birds, pigs and stuff.
What about for the PC version with that chest? I click all I want, and it never opens. (The 1-8 chest)
There seems to be a glitch in the PC and Mac version that prevents it from working. Hopefully an update will fix it.

After the 1.5 download and after completing Ham em High with 3 stars in each level, Golden Eggs # 5 is now a “i” and #6 is a chest. What happened? Has this happened to anyone else?
Yep, they changed those two levels with the 1.5 update. The new levels replaced the old puzzle levels.

hey cheers for your guide, it is really useful! i’ve just finished 3 stars on all levels of poached eggs, and got my golden egg, but i can’t see what you do on that level. there’s just pictures of pigs, birds etc that you can press, but nothing happens. what should i do? it is quite likely that i am being a doofus

Another 1-8 Treasure chest query. I’ve got the Playstaion3/PSP version of this awesome game. I don’t have a cursor or the ability to type “open” so can anyone suggest a way that I can get the associated Golden Egg?

I’ve tried every button combination I can think of and still nothing. I don’t think the PS3 version has nearly as many eggs, but do you not think they’d take the chest out if it did nothing. People, myself included, will sit there for hours trying to open it with no avail.

I got 3 stars on all the levels in the first set and got the golden egg for it. However when I click on the golden egg I don’t get to play another level. It just gives me all the stuff from the levels and makes their noise when I press on them. Is there a trick or no extra level to be played?
