One strategy for Angry Birds Red’s Mighty Feathers level 24-6 is to pop the balloons holding the TNT with the Red bird, additionally doing a little damage to the main tower. Toss the Orange bird into the heart of the tower, throwing debris across the entire level. The top-right pig usually survives, so snipe him with a Yellow bird. The score in the video below is 124,230.

Two bird solution:
1. Red Bird arcs and is activated so it goes into the balloons and lands on the horizontal wood plank with the perpendicular small wood plank on its left side. RB does not break the horizontal plank.
2. Orange Bird into the same area and breaks the wood plank. When the OB expands it flies to the right, hits the wood structure on the top right killing the upper pig and causing the structure to fall to take out the lower right pig.
Tried that many times yesterday and just now. Can’t get both the rigthmost and lower right with one shot.
Perhalps you could post a screen shot of the exact aiming point.

I have slightly different aiming points. Yeah I know, my score isn’t yet in the 130s, but bear with me ;)
For the first bird, it is good to leave the tower intact, so I like the bird to land where it won’t cause too much disruption. The wood triangle next to the horizontal wood plank works well.
The second bird need to get into the structure cleanly. I aim for that little vertical piece, or a hair above it. After that I cross my fingers the right will fall.
Gotta say, I am a bit skeptical of current top score of 142k…

Just got 129k with three birds.
Top score would have to be almost a 1-birder. I have seen over 110k using all birds and almost everything destroyed. To get 140k plus, you have to get just a bit less destruction, with 3 birds left. Just not sure how two birds can get you there.
@pointdexter5, I think the points are there for a 2-birder, but I agree, that it would have to be a very impressive 2-birder. I do not think it can be a 1-birder.

@wthewop000, I see in your album an upside down, blurry photo of a tablet with the image for this level, showing your high score.
Kinda curious why you took a photo from another device? It would be upright and in focus ;) And perhaps more credible. People have been known to fake a photo of a high score. Your score may be legit, but it would be nice to remove any doubt.
Can you at least tell us how many birds you used?
Crumb. Your photo would be upright and in focus if you got a screenshot from the same iPad on which you got your score.
I took the screen shot and could not get it to my album. So I did the next best thing I could think of. I some how, with a lot of luck, go the TNT to hit the structure. I can email the screen shot if anyone who like it.

@steviep147, I still do know how he got TNT to hit structure, only that he did, according to him. I am still a little doubtful that is what happened, but perhaps others with similar scores will shed a little more light.
Here’s hoping. I’ve got over 130k a few more times but always with 2 birds and it’s not easy. At the moment I think that it must be done with one bird. I’ll wait and see if there are any takers on the method.
DrO, I can’t help much on this. The 140K score was obtained quite a while ago, on the Mac platform. As I recall I didn’t have any strategy different than the walk through video. I believe it was a two birder and the destruction was the result of burying second bird deep in the remaining pile. My iPad score is 132K. Right now I can only come close to that on the iPad. You can thank jwgardenwiz for alerting me of the query.
All that can be said here is REPETITION … Just like the video but about a thousand times. (:
Why am I having so much trouble here? I did notice these birds are more sluggish in this level so I have to aim higher and farther than in other levels. No problem, I can adjust. First bird I regularly get 26k+ which compares to video. Second bird, not getting debris to go above 90k. I also pray that the lower right pig is destroyed with second bird because I NEVER get falling debris from third bird to fall into the hole as in video. Stuck at 119 and frustrated. On iPhone. Is this another inadequate debris issue for iPhone players or just bad luck for me? Thanks in advance.
@Maiasatara ~ I’m having similar frustration with this level on the PC platform too. Thought it was just me, so it’s good to know I have some company.
Red bird into ballon,dropping TNT on plane. Orange Bird into middle of tower, and manually inflate. Yellow bird to far right structure with pig, 121k
After 100+ attempts by using video, Got 135530 with this 2bird strat in about 5 tries..
1. Fire red through balloons and into top half of the vertical plank on top of the main structure. It will start to collapse.
2. Immediately, while the collapse is starting, fire YB same as video, make sure it penetrates into the structure before detonating. If you wait, you can still hit the spot, but you miss out on the dmg/points you get from ‘double-bouncing’ the falling debris with the YB.
This seems to obliterate a lot more debris, and sends more of it flying into the 2 pigs at right. The bottom one pops frequently, but it’s not uncommon for the top one to roll off into piggy heaven as well. I am by no means a consistent high scorer, so if I can get this score, I’m sure most of you can get far more than that.
I was just about to post the same strategy when I saw your post. I was stuck forever at just below average without any success at all using the video stategy. I finally inched above average by hitting the “flagpole” (vertical wooden plank) atop the structure. However, I went through the balloons into the upper part of the pole without inducing collapse. Instead, the two stone slabs began to tip downward and fall to either side of the structure. Both slabs were destroyed as they fell; I think that their absence from the debris permitted greater destruction by the second bird. Second bird – same as video and hope for the best. 129k is nothing to brag about but I have high hope that this approach will get me farther up the Leaderboard. Like the video, it’ll probably take a lot of repetition.
Kept at it and raised my score by 3k. I still think that there are more points to be had using this strategy.
Congrats, and I tend to agree. Personally, I was only interested in the 3rd star. I’ll leave the high scores to those ppl here who are so much better at it. :)
@ bird strategy first bird into balloons without accelerating. OB high arc about 50 degrees to come down where the horizontal and vertical thin wood planks meet. This brings it deep down into the structure. Some luck required upon OB detonation but 139,230 so far with this strategy, Hope this helps for the challenge :)
Great strat @gumby – thanks. Can’t figure out the scoring here though. Had a 1 bird clear with almost nothing left but score in the low 130K range. Similar shot now gave me current 139K. Think it might be really tough to get a puppy though!
@peejaydee27 thanks Im glad it helped. The way the debris breaks affects thescore, also those tiny flowers add quite a few points it seems.
Thanks @gumby for the tip on the 2nd shot. Arcing OB in high works better than the straight shot.
Pull OB back so just a tiny bit of the feather on his head peeks out from the left side of the sling strap. He has to break through the wood plank to land in the gap, & then break through the vertical wood on the right side of the gap to rest against the vertical stone. I let him inflate on his own.
When he inflated he somehow went through the structure & ended up by the pig at the top right & destroyed that structure as he deflated.
I agree with @peejaydee27, the scoring is odd. I had 25k after the 1st shot – scores of 22-26k were pretty typical. But I had several scores in the 130k range with hardly anything left. There was a fair bit left with my 143k score.

Thanks @gumby by gum! And good aiming tip @karen68. I was able to get that second shot second time out. You get better destruction if OB breaks the vertical wood plank o. The right side of that box area.
Not stellar, but made the improved list with slight variant, do the flagpole shot so red falls on that far right lower pig so his demise is more certain, but the arc with Karen’s aim tip for the second shot is genius.

I think you are correct here, the key here is to have the OB drop deep and for,it to exit out the upper right side.
Mine would usually exit to the left, but I think one really good right exit can do it.

Best I’ve done on a challenge so far! #13 (although early yet) with the following refinement of @gumby, @karen69, and @kelani / @jwgardenwiz flagpole shot.
First shot, quick red bird, activating just before apogee through the bottom of the balloons and into the top of the “flagpole”, red bounded over and took out the left side of the top right structure and fell with the rolling structure into the pit blow, taking out both of those pesky pigs and leaving a score of 68K on the first shot.
I was worried that the square wooden block landed right where I’ve been tossing the second Gumby/Karen shot, but the 50 degree arc, big feature just sticking out the left side of the left sling strap cut through like butter, maybe even got a boost, broke that vertical plank on the right side of the “box”, settled slighty, and KABOOM! a beautiful sight to see.
@knichy, thanks for the mention. I went back a tried a few (quite a few) times and managed to improve to 139k. Still a way from the top but a significant jump for me.
