As previously announced on Rovio’s blog and Twitter accounts, Angry Birds Seasons Cherry Blossom v2.3.0 has been released on iOS, Android via the Android Market and Amazon Appstore, Chrome, PC, and Symbian! The update should land on other platforms in the coming days and we will update this post as they come online.

Update: Now available for Playbook (includes Wreck the Halls, Year of the Dragon, and Cherry Blossom).
This update features some amazing new content, which we’ve broken down below:
- 15 new levels complete with the Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms in full bloom in the background! The leaderboard and walkthrough pages are up, so feel free to leave your strategies while we work on the videos.
- The Mighty Eagle is back in action (iOS only)! If you get stuck on any feathers, check out the Seasons Eagle request post in the forum.
- There is one hidden Golden Egg, and the 3-star item appears to be a “Big Fan”. If you need help finding it, our Golden Egg posts are online now!
- No new achievements! This is not too surprising since Seasons is nearly out of space on GameCenter achievements.
- Pro Tip: Pink flowers are worth 3,000 points each!
We will continue to update this post as the update arrives on more platforms and as our pages come online. For now, we want to know your thoughts.

Has anyone heard any information on the Chrome update as of yet? Or has it been delayed to co-inside with the PC update?

Trick or Treat is set as the default image. I do not have the ability to change the thumb (only BL does and he was traveling today).

Sorry, I don’t know where to put this but why is ABO, ABR, and ABS rated 9+ on Amazon? It should be a 4+ game.
Sorry, you would have to ask Rovio that. But in general, the following definition is used for 9+:
Applications in this category may contain mild or infrequent occurrences of cartoon, fantasy or realistic violence, and infrequent or mild mature, suggestive, or horror-themed content which may not be suitable for children under the age of 9.
I think popping pigs and such is a little borderline between 4/9, but Rovio probably decided to air on the side of caution for liability’s sake.
On apple app store it is 4+. Weird.
The music is really cool.

Just stopped to check on Amazon, and I’m glad I did. Now that makes for T minus fifteen (days) for AB:Space.
How do I update on Amazon App Store? I went to play on my kindle, and still only have YOTD version. When I go to App Store and search for updates, it says all apps are up to date, or something to that effect. I three starred the whole level on my iPhone the other day, but would like to play on the tablet as well.
click on “my apps”, then hit menu again. choose “more” then select “refresh my apps”. may have to do it a few times, I did. Then select update available- you should see it. good luck, it looks great on the kindle fire :).

We have textual walkthroughs for all levels, including 1-2.
That was easy, I finished the levels in 1 hour.
First go through of the levels took about hour and a half. Got 30 of 45 stars including 5 levels that I 3-starred on first try (not bad). Golden Egg bonus level was fun. Tricky though to get that egg!
Can’t wait until it comes out for PC… my primary platform!

1-6 Mighty Eagle seems impossible (at least imo)…requested it in the Mighty Eagle thread, now to wait for a video :_(
It isn’t impossible, I did it. Quite tough though, took a while and some luck.
First yellow bird through wood on first column then blue bird through glass on second column then last yellow bird to TNT. Launch sardine in front of first column. Hope that helps.

I’m trying to get TD for all of these, they’re so hard! I only have 2 feathers so far.
So this is where the geisha version of the white bird appears! The Sakuri Ninja levels are not the same as Cherry Blossom, but the Poached Eggs levels are probably the same as ABO.
I have to admit I think I liked the Sakura Ninja levels better than Cherry Blossom. They were more fun, especially the igloo like level.

That is not a Female White Bird. It is the regular White Bird in costume.
Technically, you could say the same thing about Female White Bird in general. So, since it has lipstick and pink cheeks, I’m just gonna go ahead and say that, because if that really was the regular White Bird in costume–let’s face it, that’d just be wrong.
I disagree. That style of dress is not uncommon for males in Japan in a traditional setting.
Is it traditional for men in Japan to play the part of geisha’s? If not, it’s got to be a female white bird.
Female geishas performed in traditional Japanese theater as geishas. This was much more common than men portraying female geishas.

Geisha was originally a male profession. Though far less common nowadays, I see no issue.
You didn’t say why you were convinced all the birds were males. I don’t think males these days (or for maybe the last few hundred years) dress up as geisha.

No, I concede nothing. The fact that there exists a female white bird (ref: credit screen from Hogs and Kisses) implies that the normal bird is in fact male.
Also, since the “egg bomb” is a bomb, it is not a real egg. Ergo, the white bird need not be female to “lay” the “egg”. It is simply dropping a bomb.

Ah sorry. I haven’t played any levels of it yet.
The reason why it’s hard is because most of the matierial is above the structure you’re supposed to destroy. None of the(white)birds can get that high so you need to rely on the MEs bounce to get them. The material is also very spread out.
Hey blahalb09, do you have TD in the chrome levels too? Because there are 4-5 in the classic episodes that also seem to be completely impossible, but I would like a second opinion.
I have TD for Poached Eggs chapter 1 in Chrome.

For TD in Sakura Ninja-11 (if you haven’t already figured it out) you must send the sardine to the far right of the level (after opening the way with the three white birds) and ME will eliminate everything in the structure as he descends.
As for Chrome Poached Eggs TD, I can’t get a feather in 3-6 after maaaaaaaaaaaaany tries now. :-(

No, we do not include promotional web apps in the update log.
But no falling cherry blossom snow??? Can this mean that there will be a second series added to Cherry Blossom in a couple of weeks? After all, I think the cherry blossoms are just starting to bloom in Japan, and they will be creating blossom snow later… Can’t remember / don’t know if additional series can be added if not set up when first series released???

Two days to three star all levels in Cherry Blossom! 1-2 was darn near impossible and 1-4 was very hard as well. A good episode though, I hope it gets another set of levels.
They should have entitled it Cherry Bacon, hahahaha

After entering your scores you can see your rank or try to improve in levels you are under average or compare with the fellow users!
I finally have 45 stars and 15 feathers.
I am looking forward to the Mighty Eagle coming to Androidm (if it ever does); I will have sooo much more play time :). I like the Mighty Dragon for Android, but that Eagle looks awesome!
