One strategy for Angry Birds Short Fuse level 26-12 is to bomb the middle of the structure with the White bird. If a pig is exposed to the orange potion, the entire level should crumble under the weight of the stones above. As needed, you may need to snipe a stubborn pig in the far right. The score in the video below is 236,090.

a 2-bird strategy for 274630 currently:
1st) just over the tree on the left, dropping egg at the last moment, so that the carcass destroys some material and ricochets onto the tree, for a score around 10k.
2nd) roughly the same trajectory, onto the horizontal stone slab.
this should result in something like this:
http://angrybir.de/1jL5Dcp
what i was playing for was to bring the orange potion on the left in the proximity of the replicating pigs below. that’s the reason i was `wasting’ the 1st on the tree, to not activate the orange potions yet, but/and to collect damage points only from structures that will not be taken out by the 2nd anyway. the 2nd should push through the structure on the left (not slice through it! as that will destroy the orange potion or the bottom pig), making the middle pig drop onto the blue potions, and weakening the material below the left orange potion so that the replicating and rotating pigs can make their way to it. sometimes they do and then kaboom.
this is quite repeatable and yielded 240k+ scores every few minutes or so. usually only a few (1-3) pigs get into contact with the orange potion but in the screenshot above many did with spectacular effect. this resulted in 264k damage after the 2nd with still something like 20k worth of material left, but since only 10k (mainly to the right of the gap) looked accessible for terrence, i decided not to use a 3rd.
i think the above, or a variation on it keeping the idea of bringing orange potion into contact with the replicating pigs below, is the way to go. for example, i experimented a bit with taking out (only) the right orange potion with the 1st (with a 2nd as above) and got some 240k+ scores so that seems also a possibility. i guess up to 290k should be doable, above it might be hard, and 300k+ would (pleasantly) surprise me.
Thanks @vuelva :) great score..I’m getting there takes the the P’s to get it just right:)
great strategy @vuelva, truly brilliant. after read your message this is what i did. here is screenshot and gave me 159k, thanks.
259k, sorry.
Beautiful strategy, @vuelva!
@vuelva, thanks for this strat.
@vuelva Absolutely brilliant strategy. Thanks!
Thank you for yet another great strategy @vuelva!
I made a slight modification that I found a bit easier. When I did the first bird as you described, I often did too much damage to the structure and the second bird would prematurely pop the potion. I decided to just bomb the tree and get as many points out of it as I could. For me, I found this a bit more repeatable! and I still get good results with the second bird.
that makes sense; better play for consistency with the 1st as the result of the 2nd varies a lot. haven’t played this level again yet, but was thinking that the main thing to be achieved/problem still to be solved, is that the expanding pigs somehow should also get underneath enough of the structure on the right (is it possible for the replicating pigs to reach both the left and right potion, at the same time?). no idea yet.
Thanks @bonneypattycat for the post and the change to the first bird. Played both ways, to left of the tree and to the right of the tree and preferred the left because it provided more consistent results on getting the pig on the rope to fall.
Thanks for the amazingly effective tips. I combined your strategy with bonneypattycat’s modification of bombing the tree first. I found that if you favor the left side of the trunk when dropping the egg-bomb, it can yield in excess of 7,000 points (with the upper 6,000’s regularly), so the “waste” is minimized.
Then I got SUPER lucky with the second shot, to the point of deeming it a fluke. After Big Red busted though, the orange potion was sitting on top of his head, but the dangling pig was still there. When Red disappeared, the structure collapsed enough to let the dangler fall into the blue potions, and they broke open the orange vial after their first expansion cycle. The final cycle was so dramatic, I half expected bloated piggies to come flying out of my tablet. Very cool to watch.
I’m amazed by how readily people share their pointers here, and warm-heartedly presume the gesture stems from shared appreciation for a great game. Domo arigato.
どういたしまして。 おめでとう。すごい得点! (hope this is readable and correct :-)
Thank you @vuelva for posting your strat and the crazy awesome outcomes that are possible…when everything goes according to plan ;-) It’s quite a show all though my highest is 266890 so I’m sure your show was even more spectacular ;-)
Thanks for the great strat.
It took just over an hour to get it all to fall right.
When it did it was a thing of beauty.
Last bird on far right survived the inflation.
So it took all 3 birds to finish it off.

I’ve gotten about 20 or so pigs to be hit by the orange potion several times but every time there is one lone pig surrounded by so much cement on the right that the last Terrance won’t touch it. I watch great scores just go away. Very frustrating even though what comes before is fun to watch. I have patience for a few more tries. Or maybe I should let it go and wait for the day it becomes a challenge? Enh, I’m whining anyway. Thanks for the alternative though. Great when it will eventually work. : )
Works very well. Surprisingly discovered your strat AFTER I came here to write about it.
There are so many things that have to go perfectly right all at the same time for this to work to its full potential ~ and I haven’t had that happen yet. But definitely worth spending more time on; so back to it!.
Brilliant strategy @vuelva! Thank you and congratulations on your excellent top score!
Agreed – that top score should stand for a while.
not that long in fact :-) 3 days. it was not to be expected either, that it would stand for long, given the huge randomness and variation in scoring, in the levels with the potions. i had just quit the first time i got a score above the then high score but had scored in the high 250ks before.
i already wondered why i was the first to post an alternative strategy, but reading through some comments just noticed that there’s a prize at stake, which might explain people not posting their strategies just yet etc. oh well. a bit late for me to join the competition. still happy with having found the strategy and the comments above.
Not too late at all @vuelva, plenty of time to catch the current leader, Manu malin, that is if you have enough free time. I know you have the skill!
I was actually thinking those who usually share, like yourself, are still doing so. There are a few levels where comments from the top scorers would be nice, but overall players are not letting the contest get in the way of sharing tips and strategies. Good thing for me, I wouldn’t have the scores I do without help ;)
just read some comments for some other Short Fuse levels (thusfar had been doing this only for the ones i had been playing seriously) and you may indeed be right on who share. thank you for the confidence in my skills, but i won’t be competing this time. i will continue playing this new episode which i really like a lot (as also expressed in a comment on the ab leaderboard), many puzzles remain to be solved! are you competing? if so, good luck (although i didn’t check yet what the competition is about, just there is one), you already have several excellent scores!
@vuelva, couldn’t agree more with you. Lately I had a great fight in Rio High Dive. Got #1 for a short time – until I got passed. Normally I would have taken this sportive. Now it gives a bad taste. My intention with posting alternative strats is that they WILL get beaten – even bettered. That again gives me the chance to better my own scores. That is for me the greatest fun about this community. By the way – that number one shared almost no of it’s strats. That is frustrating – but we have to deal with it.
Has anyone seen any self-destruction on this level? @Justpast40 reported the right orange flask breaking and a pig exploding, but haven’t been able to replicate. If you see anything please report in forum on self-destroying levels:

Thanks.
White Bird on a high arc, dropping egg in pit/center of structure. 231k
As per @vuelva brilliant strategy ;-)
Just for the fun of it, here is a pic with 16 bloated pigs: http://oi62.tinypic.com/j09po7.jpg
Unfortunately, quantity does not mean quality destruction and this one gave nothing.
For my highest score, I think that only 8 pigs inflated.
Here is the resulting destruction: http://oi60.tinypic.com/dcg95h.jpg
And this is the highscore screenshot: http://oi61.tinypic.com/9pmd6x.jpg
Thanks again for the strategy.
Flingers, I’m having a very difficult time getting the multiple inflating piggies. Any suggestions for a more successful endeavor? Thanks!
your comment got me to try this level again….. seems like breaking those rusty pipes that the orange potions sit on might be a way to go. from the side with Terrance maybe?
Well, yes, that is the way to do it, but it still happens very rarely. After hundreds, maybe thousands of tries, I have only gotten more than one or two inflations twice, and both of those times wound up being unsuccessful. I’m hoping someone might have some details on angle and the like. It’s frustrating!
OK, it took a LOT of flinging, but I came up with a methodology that I feel increases the chance of multiple inflating piggies.
All shots can be gauged by noting the position of the pulled-back bird in relation to the double gasket on the background pipe.
First shot: Don’t waste it! Lob it just over the tree at left and activate it so it bounces back up and knocks the curved piece of the end of the long wooden horizontal pipe. If your fling was accurate, you will knock off the pipe end whether you dropped the egg in time or not. However, if you do drop the egg in time, you will get a nice rebound that will take out the tree and net you about 7500 points, instead of about 2500 points.
Second fling…Using the pipe gasket as a guide, hit the butt end of the long horizontal pipe. Hopefully this shot will drop the piggie into the multiplying bottles and they will break the orange baggie in the course of multiplying. It doesn’t happen often, but it happens more often than with any other methodology I have tried.
Third fling…hopefully, this is just for cleanup or to nail the far right pig. If not, try to pick the best angle for breaking what’s left of the horizontal pipe and dropping the piggie into the multiplier.
2 bird score following vuelva strategy above with great results destroyed everything! 292,190 Thanks!
Only once did I get the orange and all three blue potions to combine. The entire screen filled with puffed pigs. The pig on the far right did die, but it only gave 244K. Still trying. Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
The new top score needs to be certified with pictures me thinks. @admins

will need to look into making screenshots as i haven’t mastered that on the ipad. But fair enough, i will elaborate on strategy. This episode had been frustrating me for quite some time. a host of scores in the 265-267k range until finally the orange potion dropped in the right moment, i.e at the same time when full replicating started. first bird just over the tree, detonating just past the right hand side, taking it out completely for a 25k score taking out left corner birds as well. red bird on the previously described place, top of the rusty bar fractionally behind the first welding spot, pushing the potion down and after the concrete cross bar dissolved, dropping into the pit. This provided a good 20 or so large bubbles as in one of asher’s pictures pushing out all debris to the left and right, including the pesky pig on the far right. All clear on the left and not much standing on the right for a 276k score. tempted to shoot the third bird for additional points but decided against it. Too much in awe of the spectacle!
@cconnielf Congrats in the top score. As it is the top score, do you have a strat or pictures to share? @admins
Here’s mine by the way, done on my Mac.

Here’s a video for 270k/2
https://youtu.be/MzbChom0iFA?si=GMZmE6f6d6DV_2kx
I thought it best not to disturb the main structure too much but rather get the tree out of the way. Yes red into the sweet spot below the horizontal plank, see video, which has then finishes the level. I think it’s then a matter of luck.
