Angry Birds Space Pig Dipper bonus level S-15 is unlocked by 3-starring levels 6-11 through 6-20 of Pig Dipper. One strategy is to send the Egg between the anchor and water on the western planet. Trigger the wormhole below the central anchor. Slowly, the boats will fall into gravitational fields and explosions. If all three boats are cleared with one shot, 3 stars should be yours! The score in the video below is 130,460.
Raft and Anchor Glitch
Current Version Status: v1.5.2 on iOS still allows the glitch to operate properly.
Below is a video demonstrating the “Raft and Anchor” glitch, first noted by @annach and taken a whole new level by @kinkykiwi (just check out her score!). While the video below does not yield many points, it’s a proof of concept that if the raft survives for a decent amount of time, high scores are possible. For reference in the paragraph below, I call the three boats B1 (north), B2 (east), and B3 (south). The “Raft” is attached to B1.
The glitch is a bit rare, but repeatable to some standard. Fling the Egg through the water south of the first planet, triggering the wormhole as soon as it touches the TNT. The key to the glitch occurring is having the raft shoot hard eastward, hitting an invisible wall it seems and slowly falling to the northern planetoid. The most notable way that this happens is when the anchor of B2 pulls the anchor of B1 while drifting into the northern gravitational field. Points accrue by the anchors slowly pushing on the raft. In the video below, I believe points accrue too fast, causing the raft to structurally fail very quickly. With a bit of “Kiwi Luck”, much higher scores are possible.
We encourage you to adjust the viewing settings of the video below. Since the action occurs behind the scores in the top-right corner, viewing the video in full screen and adjusting the resolution to its highest setting (720p HD) is advised. You may need to view the video directly on YouTube to change some of these settings.
Disclaimer: Any score in excess of 160,000 will require definitive proof, at least a comment and a screenshot, but possibly more at administrative request. Any score not meeting these requirements will be removed and, if abused repeatedly, the user will be blocked from the leaderboard. Finally! My long nightmare is over. The glitch locked in yesterday evening. After 18 hours I took back control of my iPad by ending the level with egg #2 and a score of 918750 – https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/catsnbirds/album/picture/2820/
Pig in intact raft orbited north planet counterclockwise seemingly attached to an anchor with chain still attached (chain opposite raft). The second anchor was pushed ahead for about half the rotation, then moved forward and waited for the raft/anchor to catch up. Points racked up for about 2/3 of the revolution, the last 1/3 was slow and only accounted for about 30 points (each revolution took about 90 seconds and totaled around 1200 points. To those on Game Center, I notice we are now up in points by the hackers. @amslimfordy

I know, @mvnla2 I just couldn’t stand the tension any longer. I was afraid the rotation would stop with the pig on the south side of the planet, in a place I couldn’t reach with an egg. AND I wanted my iPad back! I accept and enjoy my AB addiction, but decided that I may be too close to falling over a cliff I couldn’t climb. And we know @burpie made it past a million! I think that record should stand for a while!!!

I got it!
Started the level last night with signs of nerves already settling in, and believe me, it took many attempts over approx’ 2 hours to get the so-called glitch to work, but then with thoughts that this was merely an iOS thing, success was mine to be had…only to be followed by a huge sigh of disappointment when my raft piggie was popped by the arrow ends of an anchor at a mere 134k; lower than my high score of 141460 without the glitch!
I gave up in favour of completing a few more ‘Pig Dipper’ levels, and of course to get a little more aiming practice in as I had started S-15 without doing so, before returning to the S-15 level for a retry.
My practicing served me well, within minutes I got the glitch to work again, and within minutes my piggie was popped again, d’oh!…but then, oh yes, with anchors upturned (no fear of those arrow ends popping my poor piggie this time ;) ) my score started to climb again. I waited with baited breath for about half an hour, (now 5am) and then settled myself down for the long haul. With my thoughts racing “will it end?, won’t it end?, could this be it?”, I somehow managed to fall asleep, only to wake up at about 7.30am, and of course I immediately checked my score…it had reached the 150k mark, woohoo! In fear of my app ending (as had happened to @kathy) I took a few photos for evidence before once again settling my head on my pillow. I awoke again at 11.30am, level still running, photo taken, then I got a little distracted, and when I next looked, the final total screen was showing…224690…a little disappointed in view of the current high scores, but hey, another badge for me :), and I’m sure, a thumbs up for all Android users ;)

@Kathy – I used my phone to take photos whilst the game was running, and then my device screenshot option for the total score and reopen page photos. ;)
Tips: ensure screenshot is active on your device but do ‘not’ use it until the game has played out (ie. showing the total score page!), turn off screen sleep and Google play store automatic updates, play/run offline, and finally, be patient…very very patient…oh, and keep your meds at hand! lol ;)

After what seems an eternity of trying every night to see if i could get the glitch working again i finally got it going at 730pm GMT time (108k) and boy was it going slow….. up until 1130pm i had a score of 230k. I woke up this morning, praying to the feathered gods that it was still going and it is !!!!! At the moment i am getting 360 points every 20 seconds ( ill let you do the rest of the maths :-) ) @ 1003am my score is 1275080 and it shows no sign of stopping.As i dont have the nerve to fire a second egg yet im just going to let it run…its on charge,Auto lock switched to never, notifications are off and i have swapped my sim card to my old 1G iphone which still works. wish me luck and to anyone that is still trying, all i can say is keep going and going and going and going

@misterparon – unbilveable. I finished game at 1,76 mil after 8 hours running, but I had south planet glitch and as we all concluded my iPad would die of an old age before that pig die and there wer not any chances to reach pig on that spot.

AB Space Pig Dipper Bonus Level S-15, 717400 w/1 Bird!
After three years of shooting, finally a “One-Birdie” that counts for something! After losing out on so many other glitches/bugs finally my day has come and contrary to some, my score was obtained by skill and perseverance. After many hours of failure, finally the perfect trajectory found its’ pixel, spot on, a perfect hit!
My brave little Green Pig stood firm on his broken raft wedged in up against the small rocky planet’s surface by a wedged pronged anchor for hours. His efforts afforded me, my the largest AB Score ever, it was the most fascinating level ever played by this “shooter”!
Bravo my Green Pig, you were super!!

Tell you the truth, the more I play/shoot for the glitch/bug, the more I like it! Yesterday I had a crash at 800-850k, what a shame! Today, so far so good, cruising at 447k and hoping to make my membership to the world famous, “SPD S-15, One Million Point Club”. That would be cool!
Need a new Episode to concentrate on something else I think..

I just miss playing brand new levels from ABSW just because I am stubborn and want this so much that it is impossible to stop shoting eggs over and opver 100s times a day.
After many thousands of attempts over many, many hours over the last 5 days, I finally got the glitch to stick.
I ended the level early because I was worried that I would get a phone call or something else that would have completely closed out AB Space. I spent way too much time on this achievement to have it gone in a flash.

I was in major panic mode. I had 2 eggs left and flubbed the first one. It hit the left asteroid/planet that the anchor is hanging from. I was sooooooooooooooooo worried I would do that with the second shot.
@sparty83 Congrats! Glad to hear that the glitch has covered the Lansing area. Ending early saved you much anxiety AND earned the anchor. (Hm-m-m, maybe ending the glitch is a step for AB anonymous?)

But I think this level had the opposite effect. It was all I could do for those 5 days. Almost every waking minute I was working on this glitch. I was seriously thinking I had a glitched glitch! It was driving me insane.
I thought I got it last night, I had the pig and raft at the upper planet, slowly getting points. I put the phone down and went to bed. (Slept like crap) when I got up this morning, the level had finished at 134k! I was like, great, have to start again!
It only took about 30 minutest to get the glitch to stick and about 3 hours to get the points. I’m sure it could still be running now, 6 hours later, and can only imagine what my score would be. But I wasn’t interested in getting a million plus score since the leader boards are capped at 170k. (if there was no cap, that would be different)
Now I can move on to getting a Underdog badge.
@sparty83 I totally hear you. Can’t believe how obsessed I became with getting this glitch to stick. Then I let it run for WAY too long, just to see what the effect would be on Game Center! But we did stop. We are moving on. (I am ignoring that we are only moving on to yet another ABN addictive goal.)

Quick question. Is there any way possible to augment the Episode total score so that it actually adds in our glitch high score? But still have the 170k cap show up in the leaderboards.
The reason I ask is this. Here on the Nest, it shows my episode total as:3,453,590. On my phone it shows: 3,484,410. I frequently compare my phone scores against the nest to ensure I have entered the correct scores.
If this can’t be done, or is not practical, no worries, just curious.
@sparty83 I don’t believe there is any practical way of doing this — though we are actively brainstorming concepts for glitchified scores w.r.t. our Leaderboards.
In terms of double-checking scores between your device and ABN, addition/subtraction would probably be the best method:
3,484,410 – 200,820 (real score) + 170,000 (listed score) = 3,453,590 ✓

Now that I think of it, don’t do anything! I don’t want to see the other’s scores of 1 million or more. The cap of 170K is just fine!
(That will just drive me back in to that bad place of trying to get the glitch again. I know it’s possible now, and would hate wasting 5 or more days again.)
@sparty83 – the total for each game/world that you see in Game Center will never equal the same that you see on AB Nest – haven’t figured that one out – we used to think it was because Game Center was double counting the Egg bonuses (golden egg, eggsteroid etc), but I did the math there and that is not the reason. It has nothing to do with the glitch on this S-15 level…plus, I looked at GameCenter after all the fiasco with this glitch and people getting up to and over 1 million points – GameCenter is NOT showing those scores…not sure how much is counted but I don’t think Game Center is capable of those high numbers at this point.
The best way to verify your Game/World scores between AB Nest and GameCenter is to take time to just open up each level (directly in the game – NOT GameCenter) and match it up with that level’s score on ABN Leaderboard…that is what I do anyway.

I play on Andriod so game center is not available to us. (but with all the hacks, I’m glad for that, but miss the Game Center achievements) Having a bit of ADD, sometimes I jump around from game to game (ABO, to Seasons, or RIO or Space or Star Wars) and from level to level. Because I’m not as diligent as I should be, sometimes I will improve my score and forget to update it here on the Nest.
Every once and awhile I will compare my Episode scores to what’s here. If I find one that is different, then I have to go through every level to verify.
Since I spent so much time on getting this glitch score, I think I will be more diligent when I play any space levels now.
@sparty83 – I wasn’t talking about matching up in the IOS GameCenter…that is what is not correct really. It was as you just said directly in the game on your phone/device – world then level by level. Yes it is a bit cumbersome but the only way to be sure you’ve updated your scores.
The GameCenter doesn’t even show the individual scores for each leave within a game – only what they claim is the total score for each ‘world’. Plus, I HATE the hackers in there who fill it up with ridiculous fake scores.
I don’t always update the ABN Leaderboards as soon as I improve a score – using that on the iPhone is cumbersome sometimes. I usually wait until I am sitting on my computer then go back and step through to match-up the scores.
Hmmm… I have a pig and two anchors rotating around the upper planet, He has been going for over a half hour now with zero points accumulating. Looks like he might be sitting on an anchor chain, his raft is long gone, and he is about 1/6 of the way around the planet from the nearest anchor. I am going to miss my birdies at lunch, but if it doesn’t score in the next hour I will start it all over again.
@burbman, that happened to me last night…I let that little non-scoring piggie glide around the top right planetoid with the anchors for over an hour last night and finally just killed it. It was not scoring at all. So much for luck with this glitch! LOL.

There’s a lot of chatter on this page about the Raft and Anchor glitch. That’s a pretty slow accumulation, but sometimes slow is good. Remember the tortoise and the hare?

My strat for getting the glitch to start up is:
Aim to skim the water of the first planet (under the anchor). There is a lacey edge to the water, my egg went right through the bottom of the dip of the biggest “lace loop”
This landed my egg in the right spot, at the right angle, to blast the rocks into the boats in such a way as to get the glitch started.
It took several tries before the raft/pig landed slowly and softly enough and close enough to the anchors. But this aiming method started the glitch going more often than if I aimed to the south side of the first planet.
The other important tip is to draw the sling back just enough to see the aiming lines hitting the water right. If you draw the sling back fully, chances of starting the glitch diminish.
What I didn’t do, that I wish I had, is practice shooting an egg at the top planet. I failed to kill the pig with egg #2 and don’t dare throw #3.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! I’m currently over 1 million and going strong. …my twitchy flinging finger is waiting for my iPad back.

At 11am this morning i had a score of 4,907,000 and was gaining 200-250k points every hour. i just got back from shopping and my game has crashed and its back on the game selection file screen. maybe pushing the score to 5mil was too much or hitting 5 mill crashes the game …who knows but i may give it another try later today :-)
Great strat – however, difficult to repeat as the “Lacy edge” rotates. Also the waters surface is not truly spherical, rather oblate-spheroidal and “pulses” with the swell.

I thought I had this a little earlier, then wouldn’t have had the need to whine about it. Score was climbing in tens, but now I see this thread, it was climbing a little too quick to work out well.

I can sling the raft into the top gravity field well enough, it even hits the ‘wall’ to slow down, but there’s two anchors up there and one or the other of them always, always cleans out the pig… I’m beginning to think this glitch/badge is impossible :O

just did the same again. Looks like I’m almost there, but still miles away! Started on about 107, got up to about 111 then piggy died, ended up with 133…

you feel my pain, @trishohara? I’ve just had the piggy sit there, perfectly at peace, no movement on the scoreboard. I’m just about to snap my iPod in half!
I’ve tried everything I can think of and read and tried to mimic what those who have gotten the glitch said to try – still no luck coming my way so far. Now I’m way too fixated on this one. hahahaha. I keep going back to it and tossing the egg up under the anchor (which will knock all the boats out) and under the lower planetoid too. I’ve also tried on the PC version of AB Space which I finally bought – but I have better scoring on the iPhone. (do like the better visual of the PC version though – can see a lot more detail). Still working with it tonight. I do get the pig on the raft that is attached to that boat to very gently float down on the anchors but the closest I got to the ‘glitch’ was for the pig to just glide around the planet for over an hour (stuck at 107680) with no more points. He was very content!
If you have the peaceful sitting pig – be patient! I had that short before 5pm ( it’s now 5:25). Nothing happened. For three minutes. Then it suddenly started. Score at the beginning was 105k, now it’s by over 130k.
I hope it will not stop.
People in the train must have thought I’m crazy. I carefully hold my iPad and stared at the climbing score. On the way from the station to home I put my rain hat on the iPad screen so that it didn’t get wet. I didn’t dare to put it in the pocket.

This is my glitched score. It took about 50 tries and 15 hours to achieve it.
Wondering what Rovio will do on this level when next update, since already too many player getting impossible score.
God knows, but I am in flight mode right now, and will be turning off auto-update until I get this bloody AA badge.

Finally got my glich going. Would always die within minutes or get stuck and not move up in points at all (even though pig revolved). Used strategy of skimming water below the anchor and exploding the TNT with the rocks.

Santa hats were glitched in the early AB:S – butalso fixed, and no badge available.
There was a feather badge available for a particular mighty eagle level, again this has been fixed so the badge has been closed.

Good morning my dear ABN fellows, here I am again asking for help all of you who had luck with glitch.
I finally got one shot that may count as lucky one,m after two sooooo close, but unlucky ones (third luck, that’s to say). It started at 11.13 p.m. last night (so tell me that 13 is unlucky number). I didn’t watch it at all, it was shot close eyes, cross fingers and pray. Little green piggie landed slowly at 6 o’clock position, points at the moment were 107130. I turnd sound off, covered iPad and finally went to sleep. I squinted at iPad several time during night just to see that screen is lighted and that game was still running, several times I checked that there are not any sort of stupid notification (before I had bad luck that game stoped for 16 hours due notification from Rio).
I woke up at 6.30 this morning and score was 428k+. I made this picture of iPad’s screen with my phone camera at 6.50 a.m.

Hi @cosmo2503 , if you’re on the north planet, you can shoot full power just above the planet with the anchor. The egg will settle on the planet with th pig before detonating and that should be enough to do the job wherever the pig is. You can time it to land on the pig’s head to be extra sure.

Ugh!!!!! Grrrr!!! A word to the wise, if you are playing on your iPad, turn off your @.me.com e-mail notification! My glitch finally took yesterday at 8:00a.m. EST. It was still counting when I went to sleep, however, a e-mail came in on the @me, and paused the game for 5 wasted hours! Grrrrr. I didn’t lose anything other then the fact that the stupid pig is still pushing the anchor and adding points. Be careful of what you wish for….. :/
Maybe it’s the best to run this level in airplane mode.

Okay, when I first started this process I was unable to get the glitch to work. All of my glitch scores were less then my non glitch score.
1. 145430 non glitch – thank you @lesleyg , I used her second strat, south, water edge, egg landed between two tnt’s , kaboom!
2. 147490 non glitch – I thought I would try something different because I was tired of the same shots, so I sent it north, along the water edge, under the hanging anchor, it landed between the two tnt’s, Kaboom – everything – all snowballs, everything!
3. Shot from second video started my glitch, finally, after millions of starts. 8:00a.m. Est. 1-31-2013. Ended 9:30a.m. Est 2-1-2013.

One observation I made after 6hr. : my pig was pushing the anchors counterclockwise, between 9 – 3 it started picking up 2000 point on each rotation thru that area, and 1000 points between 3 – 9.

Coup de grace.
For those of you have the glitch running, and have a high enough score but need your device back, I would like to expand on the “kill shot” that sorts it out.
It is a very straightforward shot, just fire egg no 2 above the nearest planetoid and it will get caught in the gravity field of the upper planetoid.
The amendment I would make is to wait until the pig and raft get round to between 10 and 12 o’clock on the planetoid.
This ensures the black hole takes out the pig. If the pig is not in this area there is a small chance that the black hole will only consume the raft.

What I can see is happening is that points are adding very fast (30-50 per sce) when piggie is on top of planet and slowly (10 in 2 sec) when piggie as at bottom of planet. Please help!
Hi @cosmo2503 Dont panic lol take a deep breath, relax, think happy thoughts ” rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens”spring to mind :-) . take a moment to close your eyes and see yourself picking up the iPad/ipod/iphone/phone ect ect.take deep breaths as you aim your first egg past the top of the planet with the anchor hanging, plan so it passes close but not to close, the pig needs to be at the top of the planetoid, relax as you pull the sling all the way back and follow the guiding dots as they go past the planetoid and gently glide through the calming space air and get caught in the gravitational pull of the top planetoid where the egg will land and BOOM !!!!! pig gets squished , you get an amazin score and jump around the room like a mad looney……. A relaxed mad looney lol

Finally, last night after 25 hours running level my agony is over, I had to ended it using shot slightly over the first planetoid which allow second egg enter into gravity field of upper planet where pig was stubborny alive on its little raft for so many hours – BOOM at right place and right time. @cosmo2503 – congratulations! I am glad it finally worked, and you will get the badge. After all, you had almost 1.8 million before, and the admins decided to create the badge after you reported it back then. It’s a pity you couldn’t wait longer and had to finish it manually. I don’t blame you, I understand you wanted your iPad to play new Hoth levels, but still, it would be interesting to see how much longer it would continue and how many points could possibly accumulate.
@annach thank you a lot. You and @kinkykiwi started really great thing with this level making it mega interesting. Yes, it was like playing in casino, we all enjoyed playing, some of us got jackpot. I figured, I’d rather take 1,5 milion then risk everything, so I shot that egg and killed piggie. I wanted my iPad back, I wanted to sleep peacefully (I ended level at 12 p.m).
Who knows how long it could run by itself? Being so addicted on my phone and iPsd I don’t think I would be able to experiment for maybe 48 or even more hours if i ever made glitch happen to me again.

I am officially panicked, folks! I finally got the glitch running!! It’s been going for about 7 hours, started at about 108k and has crept up in fits and starts to 400k. The trouble is… I zoomed in to get a shot of the trajectory for reference, and when I pulled back out I snagged the slingshot. Ended up flinging second egg backwards…
Now I’m petrified. Will this end on its own (sounds like it’s not going to) or should I risk a week’s fruitless flinging on a shot I’m 99% certain I will fluff? There’s a big icesteroid still in attendance…

@hinarei NO O O O! I am so sorry. Take a vacation day from the level (actually, perhaps sick day would be more appropriate) and try to think of other things. When I finally got the glitch going, I set the iPad up on the counter and did not allow myself to even touch it until I finally risked the 2nd egg to end my anxiety. I’m sure my blood pressure was frightening at the time. Better luck will be with you next time!
@catsnbirds your commiserations are warmly received. I was crushed XD On the plus side I’ve practiced a second/wind-up shot so much now that I should be able to hit it if it comes up. Here’s hoping! Glitch has started again, but it’s achingly slow. 36k extra points in 3 and a half hours?
@hinarei slow is good , slow is real good, you stand more of a good chance of getting a great score !! last night my 3rd attempt was going very slow ..about 10 points every 30 seconds, after 4 hrs it started to speed up to 10 pts a second and i woke up this morning to 839k which is more than double my 1st attempt but no where close to my 2nd attempt ( last filmed to be at 4,797,590 before i went shopping and came back 3 hrs later to find that the game had crashed )

@kinkykiwi thanks for your advice! Looks like slow and steady was key, though I’d have taken the last run I had too, since that’d got me over the threshold a little quicker. I wasn’t quite at 170k when I went to sleep last night so left the device on charge, when I woke up I was up to 600k… went for the million, and fell agonizingly short, but should have at least qualified for the badge. Went in fits and starts, sometimes 10pts every few seconds, sometimes it raced away for 10pts per second or close to. (that avatar looks tasty!)

Second shot, by the way, if anyone needs it, is best flung round the south of the first planet, tight to the water’s edge so the trajectory’s not affected by gravity :) sails out top of second planet then, down to piggie up top.

@werewolf thank you. I ran glitch for 25 hours and finally ended it myself, who knows how long it could run by itself, I didn’t want to risk crashing. Actually it ran from Thursday 23.13 until Friday 24.00.
First time I had south planet glitch and that one was totally crazy in accumulating points as I had 1,8 million in less then 10 hours. I ended it by closing game. That one could also be finished by precise shot but I didn’t know that then.

I used AngryAdvisor’s 2nd method to trigger the glitch. Initially I wanted the level to end on its own but I lost my patience after waiting for about 21 hours, so I used a 2nd Space Egg to kill the pig.
After trying thousands of times to get the glitch to run. Finally got it to run last night. Here is a link to my album.

I couldn’t resist and try to see the glitch for real. It took me a lot of times and 2 crashes of the game overnight. Finally yesterday evening I got it running again. Shot just above the first planet. Points started to collect slowly. This time I turned of my wifi and all apps and 26 hours later I got nervous the game would freeze up and I would wake up to the home screen again, so shot the 2 egg when the Pig was at 11 o clock, but NOOO it survived?! What to do, send in the last egg or let it run overnight and hope the Pig would pop. Well after another round it hit the ancor and popped. WHOOOOHOOO!!!

I wish I could give more tips than persistence and patience, but the rest is up to fling and hope the points don’t rack up to fast, like 10 points every second or slower. The other tons of tries that fail, failed at 109K (so with the popped pig 113k) and 114k (with pig 119k). The 3 times I did got above those two thresholds, the glitch was running. Twice it crashed during the night, last try held on with a turned of wifi.
Hope for the both of you you will get it, but be prepared to go in withdrawal from you device, mine took 26 hours, good thing I still have the computer to turn to :D
Glitch still not working for me- am losing the will to live! Ironic that the acronym for the badge is the same as Addicts Anonymous – is it telling me something I already know!!!
