Doesnt it seem odd that the birds side is set at night and the pork side in full daylight? In the other chapters the bird side does work in full daylight but the pork side does it in the dark or in space
@Chriss — Anyone else??? Do the sales in the shop still change? They used to, so you had a chance on get a good offer on any character you needed. I still haven’t unlocked the Chopper rewards level, and have a ways to go (having miserably failed with those I had). The 3 on sale as part of a package aren’t going to do it for me.
@mvnla2 Sorry I don’t know much about sales in the shop.
Just received a notice from Toy R Us that the new Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Rebels, Heros and Villains Multi-Park has been released and is now in the shipping state. Expected delivery 11/7/14 through 11/12/14 to my home address. It lists for 29.99.
It was supposed to be shipped 10/1/14 but has been delayed.
Just checked Ebay and as of this morning it is listed as a preorder from a private individual for $59.99. But there is now an advertisement from TrU for the telepod set.
@wrw01 thatnk you for info. You made my day brighter. I ordered this a month before. I expect mine to be delivered within 8 days after shippment, so I have only to wait for shippment confirmation.
@wrw01 & @cosmo2503, several of us have been discussing the distribution problems here: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/forums/topic/rebels-telepods/.
It seems to me TRU had them on their site for pre-order since the Comic-Con debut this summer, but around 10/1 when the pre-orders didn’t or couldn’t ship they took them down. Some time later in Oct they were back up for a day or so as a pre-order & then away they went. This past Tue, 10/28, I noticed they were back for another pre-order, but a day or so later they were showing as on back-order (not available to even pre-order). Now it appears they are available, but only for in-store pickup … no shipping to home, however the site also says
Things to Know
This item is only sold online and is not available in our stores
So it would seem they are only in some stores, but not on any store shelves & must, at least for now, be ordered online. When entering my zip code, the closest store for a pickup is 60 miles from my home; the next closest is about 80 miles.
@justpast40 I recieved shipment confirmation from my seller that my order has been shipped on October 30. I don’t know if they are already out in stores inthe USA, but surely won’t be in shops here before December shopping time.
@cosmo2503, I’m wondering if they will even be on the shelves here. Last year I think TRU had a similar exclusive (now on secondary markets for $79.99). I started looking on the TRU site after the first of the year & never saw them, nor were they in the stores I checked.
I never found the Series 2 6-pack set with Tusken Raider, Lando, etc. in any local store, nor could I find it offered for sale (when I was looking,) on any USA retailer’s site. I think these 6, Carbointe Han Solo, Wicket, Lando, Royal Guard, Jabba & Tusken Raider, were added to the game about 8 months ago, so I really didn’t expect to have any trouble finding them a few months later when I started to look, but it took a few more weeks. Thank goodness for international Amazon sellers as I got mine from a Great Britain in June.
@justpast40 I don’t think Rebels package is TRU exclusive, it is not marked as exclusive. The similar package you mentioned was exclusive as stated on packing.
@cosmo2503, is yours also the 12-pack? Whether it’s true or not, the 12-pack is supposed to be a TRU exclusive & they’re advertising it that way. I’ll have to wait to see how the package is marked as you’ve now peaked my curiosity. What clued me into the exclusivity was on July 24 when @sntrooper posted a link from Comic Con here: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/angry-birds-san-diego-comic-con-2014-news-feed/
@justpast40 I have all AB Star Wars telepods and as I can remember only Heroes vs. vilains 12 characters package set that includes C-3PO silver, Red Battle Druid, Shadow Troper Pig and Hologram Emperor exclusives was TEU exclusive. Star Wars Rebels isn’t advertise as exclusive, but as i didn’t get package yet, I can’t be sure. Anyway Rebels are sold only in this package and probably none of characters wouldn’t be available in other combos. It’s worth of price if you are collector or fan, otherwise I guess that sooner or later you’d be able to unlock characters through game.
Is there any news on this update hitting the PC version anytime soon?
Not yet. PC updates typically hit within a few months, but the timing varies quite a bit. Some have been as quick as one day, others are at 7 months and counting. Just keep checking back. The day it’s released, it’ll be announced on the site.
Will this update come on PC?
@swii
It should. Eventually. Delays for PC updates range from 5 days to 8 months and counting. Average is a month or two.edit: Scratch that. Just read something in my forum thread: PC may be on the way out that accordng to Rovio support, Rovio is no longer creating PC releases OR PC updates for any existing games.
So. PC is done. Not sure about Mac, but I’d expect that platform is done also.
is this update available for the pc version and how do i get it?!?!?!?!?!?
No, it is not, and apparently never will be. Yesterday, we got a report that Rovio has stopped development for the PC (and possibly Mac) platforms. This means no new games, and no updates for existing games. They’ve even removed the PC versions from their store. You can’t download or purchase them.
