I’m little confused: power-up scores are not allowed, but on the other hand you are forced to use it once on this level. But still, why would PU scores be allowed on this level but not on others?

@f91jsw if we are all forced to use hammer on this level then we have same chances to get PUP score, we are even.

This is very similiar to AB:O Short Fuse Level 3 (26-3) where they introduced the fuse bombird. Lots of scores above the realistic “pure” scores due to getting that without asking for it. I’ll admit that I did use the Hammer on this level the first time. (just like what happened to me on 26-3). Wasn’t even thinking that it may be a power up at the time.

(guess the euphoria of 120+ new levels doesn’t have me thinking straight)

Oh, and another thing, If the hammer scores are not allowed, then can I recommend that this walkthrough be replaced with one that does not show the hammer being used.

We can do that @sparty83. Seeing that you’re forced to use the hammer the first time I think it’s okay if we allow those scores on this level only. cc @admins

Would that exception also include subsequent attempts on this level, where you’d have to use the hammer manually?

@kelani I would have thought subsequent attempts are without hammer as you would have to buy the power up. First attempt I unfortunately have a low 3 star score.

@georgerxtx You can buy a hammer with coins, but it’s not the only way. The hammer recharges a bit with each popped pig. If you scored poorly on the first “free” attempt, just find a level with lots of vulnerable pigs (like a pig wall), play it a few times to recharge, then come back and try it again.

IMO, both methods sound fair to me, provided they’re only used on this level . Whether we can do that, or are stuck with our first attempt’s score is up to the admins, though.

@kelani the things you learn as you keep playing. Thanks for the advice will search for recharge.

I have noticed that coins seem to able to be earned multiple time from a level. Though I’m yet to detect where a coin comes from. Almost seems like a random hit and coins start floating.

I eventually used my second earned hammer to get (just) above average. My assumption from this thread is that using future ‘earned, not PU purchased’ hammers is allowed only on this level. While I I initially found the Stella game different, but interesting – it is quickly loosing its ability to hold my attention. Maybe it’s time to go back to ABO, man I’m becoming a curmudgeon!

These are three pics one with my score with character swap and hammer because that is allouwed on level 13. The other 2 let’s see another difference in level. I used poppy for the character swap before shooting the first bird so i got an extra bird on this. The other difference is??? Look at the pigs the red haired did i get at the moment i used character swap!
Hopefully everybody understand what i am saying!

And tonight i did see a screen on an i-pad and of course there did the change of hair not happen? The second big difference in levels!
