Below is an actively updated list of Angry Birds bugs, glitches, and issues spanning all version and platforms. We obviously can’t know everything, so many of these are reported and/or updated by the AngryBirdsNest community, so if you notice something out of the ordinary leave a comment below and investigate. seasons: go green get lucky: big pot for 3starring all levels won’t open! you say it has been fixed but it is not on my ipod, and i have the latest version (v1.6.0)! will there be a newer bug fix? or am i the only one who still can’t play the golden pot!?!?

Have you 3-starred all 18 levels of Go Green? What happens when you click the Facebook icon?

You may also want to follow the steps outlined in BirdLeader’s post. That is, re-unlock the Facebook levels (and perhaps re-defeat them).

yes i have 3starred every single level! i also have the score addict achievement as well!
when i click on facebook it says `Thank You! We Like You Too!`
i will try bird leaders post but i doubt that it will work because the big pot is not related to facebook isn´t it?!

yes i have 57/59 achievements (just missing halloween score addict and bright side of the moon)
have every star and every feather (even SG1-16) and almost every achievement! just can´t play the big pot! any ideas ?!?!?!?!

The Bunny Hunter (I think it should be Bunny Hopper) Achievement is reached when you smash the ceramic bunnies in Moon Festival.

There is a “Bunny Hopper” achievement aligning with Mooncake Festival, but that is not the bug listed. There is a separate achievement — “Bunny Hunter” — which aligns with the Easter Eggs! episode. This is bugged for some users (ref: above).

Sorry! I did receive the Bunny Hunter Achievement.
The only achievement I have earned but not received the coin for is Bright Side of the moon.
The only advise I can give is to log out of Game Center & log back in.

We can usually mend these rather quickly so I’m not sure a list is necessary. But we would love to hear what you know!

On my iPad, the original Angry Birds, once I throw the white bird I tap it the drops an egg and comes small, but when I throw another bird, the small white bird just pops out big. Version 1.6.3

If you are running AB v1.6.3 (I know it works on iOS devices; not sure about others), launch a White Bird and drop its egg. It will appear deflated. Then quickly launch another bird. The White Bird will reinflate.

If you are using the same Apple ID as before, “purchase” again. After you agree, you should receive a message saying that you have already purchased and will not be re-charged. (In the rare event that you are, a quick call to Apple will reimburse you.)

Quick note: The Mighty Eagle for ABo is not the same as for ABS. Likewise, the Mighty Eagle for iPod/iPhone is not the same as for iPad.

I have all 3 stars in all levels of all 3 versions of Angry Birds. I am only missing the Mighty Eagle feather from Season greedings level 16. I have all the fruit on all levels for Rio. Now I am trying to get all the achievements and I have the following problems:
1). Any new high score does not add on to my old score.
2) if I don’t get a new high score the points don’t add on.
3) in seasons Easter Egg and St. Patricks I can not open the 3 star in all levels Egg or Pot of Gold.
4) even though I finished Mooncake festival (3 stars in all levels, all pieces of moon cake found and 3 star and moon cake level at the end complete). The achievement for completing Mooncakee festival is still showing not done.
5) 500,000 blocks broken
6) rio hit one bird with another achievement not showing complete and I know I did it.

Any suggestions. Oh, and all the games have the latest version installed.

1) Only your highest score is counted. For example, if your high score was 20k, then you play the level again and score 21k, your total score increases by the 1k.
2) –same as above, but your second play is only 18k, so nothing increases–
3) Can you verify on the episode selection screen that Easter Eggs! and Go Green both read 54/54? If so, we can confront that individually.
4) “Bright Side of the Moon” is a known bug (listed above) and Rovio is aware of it. It should be fixed in the next update.
5) Smash Maniac is not broken in the way you think. However, corrupted settings files or unexpected app failure can reset your counters. Read more in FujiToast’s recent post.
6) The two birds must hit in flight. To do this, fire one bird nearly vertically. When it falls back down, hit it with another bird. This gets a little easier if you use two Blue Birds and split them both.

Go into Seasons, click Play. On the screen where you select your episode (eg, Go Green) it should say both your episode total score and xx/54 stars.

Try replaying the last few levels of each episode (Levels say 15-18). Then try to open the Big Item again.

Then your settings.lua file is likely corrupted in some way. You should contact Rovio with details.

If you’re referring to ABS, I can attest to the fact that, two days ago, while downloading the update for Cut The Rope from Amazon, there was also an update for ABS, so I downloaded and installed it.

I’m now ruinning version 1.6.1 of ABS. Presumably, there bug fixes within the patch, but if they are all related to Achievements, I wouldn’t see or notice them, being an Android Guy. What caught my eye though was copyright info on the Rovio splash screen which wasn’t there before as far as I can tell.

So all you iOS guys might go recheck iTunes, or whatever you do to get AB.

Yeah I saw that Amazon update. Not really sure what was up with it, but it was an Amazon-specific update (none of iOS, Android Market, nor Symbian received the update; still on 1.6.0).

Hi .I just read this and I am wonder On september 4 ,2011 I started to play this game the version is v1.6.0 and I do already have the achievement , The Bright Side of the Moon . But I am missing Bunny Hunter . I did not only 300 times maybe 3,000 times and the achievement never comes . So there are any solution or I have to wait for the update . Even know I did it the Feather S.G.1-16 . just an hour ago .So I have everything ,All the feathers all 3 starred all Score addict , and 47 -48 achievementsI thing I finished .But upset No bunny hunter . to complete all the game. What I can do.!!!

I just got the Smash Maniac achievement today finally. I don’t think it is a bug – it just takes a VERY long time to smash 500,000 blocks. Since there is no counter to know how many you have actually smashed, you just have to keep on working at it until you finally hit the 500,000 mark.

We have recently received some info from Rovio on the matter. There is a mini-bug which can reset the “blocks smashed” counter if the app crashes or closes unexpectedly. In this respect, it is sort of bugged, but I agree that I think the majority of users are just underestimating 500,000.

For the Chrome version (which I don’t see mentioned), the Easter Eggs for secret levels 5 and 7 are just plain missing. And for some reason, the game never seems to remember that I’ve achieved 3 stars on secret level 3, although it does remember my score.

We have had quite a few reports of this, but I haven’t seen it personally. I have checked in both Chrome Beta and Google+ with from-scratch accounts and found all 7 Chrome Balls fine. We encourage you to contact Rovio about the issue, but it is certainly strange.

I also discovered another bug in Angry Birds seasons, when I complete Mooncake Festival level 1-15 it says go to next level, but when I fail the level, it shows go to picture. After completing level 2-15 it does not give me the Bright side of the moon achivement, and ”Congratulations for completing the episode! Now try to get three golden stars in all levels!” does not appear, even though I complete all 33 levels of Mooncake Festival. It only shows up as ”Level cleared! Score: ””’ ”. and then the last button on the frame says picture. But when I fail the level, the last button on the frame says movie, if I tap it the game crashes and then it returns to the home page on my iPod. I don’t know why there are so many bugs in Angry birds Seasons.

Will these bugs be fixed in the next update? This is just ridiculous.

The “movie vs next” bug is something I’ve heard in passing but I don’t think Rovio has been informed of it, so I would contact them about it.

“Bright Side of the Moon” is a known bug and should be fixed in the next update. I’m not sure what you mean by “so many bugs”. That’s two… not so many. Bugs happen in all programs.

I also found another glitch in Angry Birds original. If you play the game for like a few minutes playing the levels, the game gets very slow. After it gets very slow, whenever I tap a level, it takes 0.79 seconds to load, as if I tap on a facebook level, it takes like 1.31 seconds to load. It’s ridiculous to have the game slow down after playing it for so long.

What platform? That sounds more like a phone issue than an app glitch. I haven’t had any noticable problems loading levels — and loading times under 1.5 seconds is certainly acceptable.

On Mooncake Festival I found that some of the cake slices would disappear after I had already gotten them forcing me to get them again. I still haven’t been able to get them all at once despite having gotten each of them a number of times. Anyone else having this issue?

hi everyone , i have a problem with angry birds rio , after i updated , it wouldnt get past the loading screen (it would sign on to gamecenter but thats it) so i re install the game , it works fine . but when i restore my scores , the problem re appears .
pls help as i dont think i have the patience or enthusiasm to re-do all my scores again .

Most likely an issue with your settings file. When you copy over your scores, are you transferring both files?

Eagle on my download can only be used once an hour. Is this the way it should work? Another family member can use the eagle as often as he wants.

The Mighty Eagle can be used in two ways.

1) To skip a level not yet passed (ie, with 0 stars). This can only be used once per hour.
2) To earn a “Total Destruction” feather on a passed level (ie, with 1+ stars). This can be used as frequently as desired.

Bird Leader, i know this doesn’t have anything to do with bugs, but i got ABR on computer, and i checked the files, and the last episode comic, the boomarang bird, and the last fruit,grapes is all there so that means, last episode on plane, bomarang bird is in it, grapes is last fruit.

When I loaded new update for Rio, my Android won’t stop loading it, even after the whole thing is loaded. Have ended/killed all programs. Have turned phone off & reset controls. Even uninstalled Rio-losing all of my 3 stars on all levels before update- but I can’t get it to clear out of “loading mode”. Suggestions? Thanks.

Question on last two acheivements in Game Center:

I have all seven versions of iPhone AB and all six AB HD games loaded. Other than noted below, I have all the visible acheivements earned.

I played AB before Game Center was released. This past week, after many hours on Golden Egg-14, I finally acheived Smash Maniac in both regular and HD.

I know that “Bright Side of the Moon” is bugged at the moment.

I have two other “visable” acheivements that I cannot get in HD. (I have them in the iPhone versions). I saw some posts about this issue in March but don’t know if it was ever reported as a bug or not. The acheivement is in AB Free HD and AB Seasons Free HD. Its: Block Smasher Free (500 blocks) I replayed all the levels yesterday and also played a particlaur level in each for a couple of hours. No luck

Has anyone got these two in the Free HD versions?

I solved my own problem by deleting the games and my Game Center data and replaying the levels. I now have the missing achievements. It wasn’t hard since there aren’t too many levels in either of the FREE versions.

On a walkthrough website, it has the walk through for Rio Golden Beachball level, which was posted in August. Is this true, my iphone says all apps are updated and the last level I have is Airfield Chase. What gives?

These levels were release right around 1 August, but they are hidden (shhhh!). Luckily, on mobile devices, the Golden Beachball levels can be unlocked for free.

here is a tip for block smasher ach. for ABSF
i had the same problem, and i :
1) saved the files
2) deleted the game (ABSF)
3) reinstalled the game
4) played the second level of Go Green Get Lucky for approximately 10 Minutes
5) achievement appeared
6) pasted my old highscores and settings files
7) finally had all achievements ;)
@AMslimfordy: i saw in gamecenter, that you don´t have the achievement. perhaps you could try my methode and tell us all if it works or if it was just luck for me to work!

Had a little spare time, and it indeed works. Let’s just set a little clarification though.

Of course, back up the data files using our listed method. When you delete the app, you want to choose to keep all GameCenter data.

yes you are right! i forgot about listing that you have to keep all gamecenter data! sorry for that!
i also consider that it is more wisely to back up your way but i have done it directly via ifile on the ipod!

Got it, but there is one really, really, REALLY BIG PROBLEM, my ipad froze by yesterday and today, it still freezes. (As of 10/24/11)

Bright side of the moon still won’t register. I have an iPhone 4. I’ve restarted my iPhone, logged out of and back into game center, still no bright side of the moon. Any suggestions?

Per the release post:

Bright Side of the Moon achievement bug has been fix, but you may have to re-defeat levels 1-15 and/or 2-15.

Guys, here’s a solution to the RIO FOOTBALL one on PC and Mac.

On level 13-12, fire a white bird backwards and drop the EGG EXACTLY on the little stump that comes out of the ground. The egg is not located off the screen, it’s located in the MIDDLE of the screen.

Do you mean before the platform, and that square like structure? What if I drop the egg on it, what happens afterwards, because it looks like we have got the Football Egg, but no Rio written on it.

Rio is never written on it. That’s just our decal on the site so we know which egg is which.

dont know if someone has mentioned it yet or if i am the only one but when i go to ABS, 2011 and open moonfestival/ st patrick/ easter / valentine, it shows me zero stars on the facebook/twitter levels, but when i play one of these levels it shows my highscore and when i go back again it shows all the stars i have had bevore!

Ihave a similar problem, I had nearly completed HamOWeen when all the levels I had completed showed up as locked again. I had to complete each level again to unlock them, although it then showed my original high score and stars. Just checked my Seasons 2010 and these are all the same!

That’s not the same issue. That’s an issue with your settings file being corrupted. Did you lose access to Golden Egg or “Big Item” levels?

Thanks. I still have access to the three star and golden egg levels, and summer pignic and christmas are ok too, just the other seasons are all locked up. Very odd! No biggie I have to just complete the levels again even with one star and my three stars are restored and the next level unlocked.

Has anyone else had this issue? When i open the seasons 2011 golden egg in trick or treat, IT OPENS THE BIG PUMPKIN LEVEL WHEN IT SHOULD OPEN THE GOLDEN EGG! Why is this so hard for them to figure out? This is just ridiculous.

Yes, the following are bugs fixed in Seasons v2.0.0:

#6: Mooncake Festival in-game score counter works properly now.
#7: Numbering removed completely. I suppose that’s solved.
#12: Users report that Bunny Hunter has registered.
#18: SG-16 feather threshold lowered.
#20: Bright Side registers.
#23: Feather achievements work properly.

Two new bugs:
— “Trick or Treat” Golden Egg levels are flip-flopped. See original ordering. (Rovio informed and responded: “We’ll get this sorted”.)
— Upon an app restart, the Facebook/Twitter levels show no stars on the level selection screen. You can get them to show by entering/exiting a level, but again on restart they disappear. (Rovio informed and responded: “Fixed in the next build”.)

There are two other small “errors” in AB Seasons:

1. If you play the small Moonkace level (the one you got for collecting all moonkace pieces) and you press the pause button, it shows the big Mooncake (the one you got for 3 starring all levels).

2. Normally after you got the total destruction achievement, the instruction “earn three stars in…” is replaced by “three stars earned in…”. But in Moon Festival and Ham’o’ween it still sais “earn three stars” even if you already got this achievement.

Yeah we noticed the first one. But neither of those are particularly significant to gameplay.
