Below is an actively updated list of Angry Birds bugs, glitches, and issues spanning all version and platforms. We obviously can’t know everything, so many of these are reported and/or updated by the AngryBirdsNest community, so if you notice something out of the ordinary leave a comment below and investigate. I am playing mighty feathers. While I am signed in Rovio account everything is fine, but after I sign out my progress is not memorized in app. So I have to sign in to continue from where I left…

Nest Admin – Two bugs with most recent ABO release:

Egg Defender already partially played: I just completed Red’s Mighty Feathers on my iPad and, when I started on the Bonus Egg Defender level, I found that 7 of the 15 games had already been “played”. That is, the summary screen showed games 8-15 as being locked and games 1-7 having 2 or 3 stars as if I had played them already. I can open these games and re-play them but in the mean time, it feels as if I’ve cheated.

Top Level Screen still shows 29 Golden Eggs: This is minor but the game selection screen still reflects only 29 Golden Eggs even though I did ‘star’ #30.

(1) If you play Level 7 and beat it, click the >> button to advance to Level 8. Upon being re-unlocked, does the Level Selection Screen show 0 stars, or the number of stars you had before the update?

(Sometimes the settings.lua file can lose a little data, but it’s very very rare that the highscores.lua file would remove scores/stars from levels played. I’m thinking that the levels simply re-locked but the data is still intact.)

(2) I’m not seeing any issues. Did you get both Golden Eggs in the update?

I beat level 7 and advanced to level 8 in Egg Defender but the number of stars for levels 1-6 remained unchanged. I can replay 1-6 and match the 3-stars that were already there when I opened Egg Defenders initially so it isn’t a critical glitch just an odd glitch. I didn’t lose any scores – I received free scores on 1-6.

I don’t know if I got both Golden Eggs. Does the second Egg appear after completing Egg Defenders?

just installed ios7, generally worhing fine, but now angry birds space has frozen up . i was trying to decline an offer of new program!

I’m not experiencing any issues with Angry Birds Space on iOS 7. You might want to try restarting your device.

Also, to disable auto-updates for apps, go to iOS Settings > iTunes & AppStore > Automatic Downloads > Updates > Off”. It’s entirely your choice, but if you were wondering :)

For the past two days I have only been able to connect to AB w/ Friends a couple of times (via my iphone). My husband is having the same problem. We both receive a notification when trying to start the game that says Error Occured! Please Check Your Network Connection and try again later.
No matter whether we’re using the regular LTE connection or whether we have a full signal via WiFi, the same response is given & we cannot play. This is happening not only at our home but anywhere we go.

When will this bug be fixed?

The leaderboard for abra ca Bacon says i Never played it although I have achieved3 Stars in all Levels and was online all the Time while playing. Achievement syncing doesn’t help either. Also, it says there are only 2 Players all in all in the leaderboard! Anybody Else experienced this issue?

Star Wars 2 – the sound on any and all levels is wonky on my iphone 4. The sound keeps cutting in and out every other beat of the sound. I restarted my phone, reinstalled game. no change. please fix.

Space, Cosmic Crystals, 7-20. The two concrete balls are exploding before you can use them. They worked fine until I tried to play today. You can’t get more than one star without them. One other player mentioned this in the walkthrough over a week ago. I’m not aware of any changes or updates since the last time I played this level. Tried power resets. Any ideas? I play on an I-pad.

I dont know if this bug was mentioned before: in Abracabacon it sais “no rank” in Game Center, although I have 3 stars in every level.

I’m using the sync facility between iPhones and iPad. However some, not all scores, are not being updated. Is this a known bug? I’ve only noticed this since the new update but that is not to say this is to blame.

In Angry Birds Friends on Facebook, Golden Egg #5, I am unable to locate the egg. The video shows Easter eggs rather than the current Golden Eggs screen that I see when I’m logged in. This is the only level that I am unable to unlock or beat.

I can’t even see achievements for Rio HD!

The GC buttons on the main menu are gone, and the game will not appear on GC itself! (Game Center app.)

Have same problem since last update. Have e-mailed Rovio about it & they are trying to sort it. I have iPad 1 & they suspect the graphics are to sophisticated for the iPad 1to cope with but are trying to fix it. Watch this space!

Angry Birds 2 keeps crashing after the Rovio symbol. I tried switching resolution by Windows Properties and every other available option but with no solution. It recognizes though, when I changed the resolution, that it’s too small and it crashed again after that. It’s a relatively old PC with windows XP, but it plays all the Angry Birds except this one.

Did you mean ABSW2 ? If Yes, then it’s a know crashing issue in ABSW2 PC version.

Follow these instructions:
1) There is a file named config.lua in the directory, where you’ve installed the game.
2) Open file with Notepad.
3) Delete the last line:- renderer = { “gl2”, “gl1” }
4) Type:- renderer = { “gl”, “gl1”, “gles1”, “gles2” }
5) Save the file.

If you’ve installed the game on C: drive then:
When you Save the file , Click Save As…and Save the file as config.lua file type. Then replace the original .lua file with the new one.

I followed the above fix instruction but the game freezes when I use Dart Vader in Reward Chapter esp. when he hit a TNT. any other solution for this. BTW, I’m using Win7 and updated all my drivers. TY

In ABSW2 PC version, I bought an unli-Yoda. After playing like the whole pork side, the game for some reason(when I close the lid of my laptop, without the auto-shutdown/sleep enabled) crashes. After rebooting and starting the game again, i checked if anything went wrong and to my surprise, UNLI-YODA, NO MORE! and even the coins I used is gone, 3500 coins wasted. Is there any fix?

You’ll need to contact Rovio, but generally crashes like this corrupt your data files beyond any repair that we can advise.

All my angry birds stars disappeared! I had 3 stars in all levels and they just disappeared! My progress remains ,because I’m not blocked out of the current level I made it to, but it’s like somehow someone jacked my stars! Help!!

Version: 1.5.0.0
Platform: PC
Issue: Completed levels in Ground Hog Day(Level-One) aren’t showing the approach how we constructed the Piggy machine and solved the level, So that making it difficult to re-play again need to re-construct everything from scratch.
It’s fine with other levels and completed levels are showing up the approach.
Issue with only Ground Hog Day.

There likely isn’t any way to undo this, @Dragon. It sounds like some of the files in your contraption data were lost. Once data files are corrupted, not much can be done to repair.

About the Golden Egg #30 bug

If Golden Egg #30 doesn’t pop up after 3-starring all the classic levels of Red’s Mighty Feathers, then you should uninstall and reinstall the game (do this only if you have a Rovio Account, otherwise you’ll lose your progress), open the game, make sure you’re logged out of the Rovio Account, 3-star all the CLASSIC levels of Red’s Mighty Feathers (again), reconnect to your Rovio Account and voila – you have both Golden Egg #30 and all the progress you had before uninstalling the game. I know that this method is meant for iOS and Android (since these platforms support the Rovio Account), but I don’t know how to fix this bug for PC.

Game: Angry Birds Star Wars II v1.0.0.0
Platform: Windows 8.1 x64
Issue: After installation of the game, whenever i launch the game, it’s saying as:
OpenGL 2.0 renderer not supported!
OpenGL 1.4 renderer not supported!
This issue is coming for all Rovio Angry Birds games except Bad Piggies.
I observed in Windows 8 x64 and now in Windows 8.1 x64 too..
Please someone help…

Per Rovio’s FAQ:

Angry Birds requires OpenGL 1.3 or later to run. Please try updating your graphics card drivers to the latest version from the manufacturer’s website.

If your drivers are updated and you still get this error, visit RealTech VR GLview to check if your computer supports OpenGL 1.3.

Yeah but it’s showing higher version i.e 1.4 and 2.0 right..
I even checked with the manufacturer’s updates..
nothing found..every thing’s up to date including widows update..

Just got ASWII for my iPad. In the Rewards Chapter I can’t get Level 3 with Padme to unlock, even though I have scored 3 stars (90’500) in Level 2. Is there some wrong, or is it something I’m doing wrong?

Levels in the Reward Chapter are unlocked by earning a certain amount of damage points with each character. See our achievements page to see the point threshold.

In Seasons 3.3.0, abra-ca-bacon bonus level 4 (10+ feathers bonus), if you slowly roll a bird into the back teleporter, it will pop out of the front teleporter without enough energy to clear it, so it will continue to pop into and out of each teleporter until the game eventually locks up. My guess is this is a general problem with the teleporters. I’m running on android 4.2.

Short Fuse Level 25-8
Platform : iPhone

I normally use 3 birds to finish this level.
But sometimes the 10000 bonus of the 4th bird is not added to the total score.
I came across this 3 times in nearly 100 attempts.

I’ve figured when this bug will occur.
2nd bird killed all pig ,
3rd bird sent out , after it exploded , the screen do not pan back to the slingshot , it switch to result screen directly , 10000 bonus of 4th bird is left behind .

I am trying to play Short Fuse, but it totally freezes every five minutes or so.

I have found an error Angry Birds Star Wars II v1.0.1 PC.
Go to Angry Birds Star Wars II -> Rewards Chapter -> Level Captain Panaka
Zoom out level. Shoot Captain Panaka to top.
When he is top of platform and not visible, click on anywhere you want.
Software stops for few seconds, then closes and shows this error:
?:0 attempt to index field ‘?’ (a nil value)(call stack not available)
