Below is an actively updated list of Angry Birds bugs, glitches, and issues spanning all version and platforms. We obviously can’t know everything, so many of these are reported and/or updated by the AngryBirdsNest community, so if you notice something out of the ordinary leave a comment below and investigate. There is a bug in Rio “High Dive” – the Screen Shows you have obtained a White Feather if you have used Mighty Eagle, even if your score is under 100%. Makes it a bit difficult finding out how many you really have…..

On the plus side, the top-level screen with total score, stars and trophies is correct. My next screen down shows feathers for all games but the feather bar on the top level is only at about 80%. I quickly scanned individual games and found several with ME top scores less than 100%. I’m using an iPad with ios 6.1.3.

It’s not a bug. This was Rovio’s intention. But it’s very annoying. I had to click on every level and then to click on every Mighty Eagle button to find out in which level I was missing my last feather. In previous versions, I only had to look on the level select screen and I immediately knew which feather was missing. So Rovio, please give us back the old style!!!

Game has a glitch.
Goes to black screen after a few minutes of play. Requires restart of game. Very annoying.

Hi Ms Igal,

It sounds like it could be an issue with your device running low on RAM. I would definitely suggest restarting your device and avoid running other apps in the background. If issues persist, you should send all relevant device information to Rovio directly.

I have PC version of Rio High Dive. My system has 32GB RAM. I have experienced lockups in levels 9 and 19 in High Dive. Also, play often becomes sluggish in these levels as well as 7 and 8. I suspect a memory leak.

I have been unable to 3 star level 19 because no matter how clean the shot and immediate the upward acceleration, yellow bird never gets higher than vase at top of right platform.

Angry Birds free freezes when ads pop up. Only way to continue the game is quit the game and start over again. Every time…

It could be an issue with your device, Internet connection, or RAM. Have you tried restarting your device or playing in Airplane mode?

Rio: High Dive Freeze

I have experienced the ‘crash’ several times and doubt it is a device space issue.
Running on an Android 4 tablet, the bug has occurred with 20% free RAM and minimized running apps. Yes it has also occurred with my tablet stuffed to the gills with Hellboy comics and other large files… But following your advice regarding “space” initially, cleaned house, booted many large files into Google Cloud, ran ‘File Expert HD’to clean up residue = another crash.

i found a bug in the free version of angry birds space for android,on certain levels,the birds powers wont work,example,on a utopia level,i couldnt get the blue bird to split into 3,and laser birds not targeting,OR moving right,if this possible caused it,i DID use the sonic sound power things in both red birds and green birds,and i should also mention that NONE of this happens when i fight a boss

This is by no means a widespread bug. It could be an issue with your specific device, so try restarting the device to perhaps clear up some issues. Otherwise you should contact Rovio, but you may have severely damaged files.

Angry birds rio high dive, keeps crashing, slowing down. Have got stars for each level but won’t let me continue game now it crashes as soon as I click on a numbered game in high dive. I use an iPod that is about 2 years old. (Apple) can anyone help? I have recently done the most recent apple update. Please can anyone help I am definately a player who likes to get the 3 stars in each level!!!! Cheers fiona

Has anyone else seen this bug?
When you get, let’s say, between 94 and 99 percent on a level, when you exit out to the level selection screen, it fills in the feather next to the level. This happened four times, and when I went to play the bonus level after 10 feathers, it said I only had 7. I had to go back to the ones it said had feathers but didn’t have 100% total destruction.
Let me know if this has happened before, or it’s just a glitch on my iPod.

@tnatiuk17piano it is not really a bug, Rovio just changed the look and filling up the feather with transparency. Which indeed creates confusion because a 95% feather looks the same as a 100% feather. Maybe Rovio could make the 100% feather with a glow so it will be more clear, but for now a manual check is the only way to know for sure. You can see AMSlimfordy’s explanation for a screenshot of the difference between the different percentages.

Issue on ABSW2 playing as Captain Panaka!
If you shoot Panaka’s missiles and activate Yoda’s light saber (or another bird that has light saber) Simultaneously, you will don’t hear Yoda’s light saber’s sound.

It’s been a while I didn’t play ABO.
Today I signed in and I was surprised to see that I had lost the stars for the levels played when the account was introduced (I played Red’s mighty second part and short fuse with me signed in back then) Now, it’s zero again!! Any help please?

I did. I signed out then in again. Nothing!! Scores for Birdday party chapter 3 – red’s might second part and short fuse are gone:( These are the levels played after the Rovio account was introduced.

If they don’t appear in either location, then the scores may have been corrupted at some point. I’m not sure what else can be done.

@bad-piggies-2, can you hear sounds from other websites (like YouTube)? Also, have you checked to see if your speaker volume has not been muted? If that’s not the problem, then you might want to do a check on your sound card.

I’m not sure I can help, because apparently my original scores on the early episodes of AB got wiped a long time ago, and I haven’t been back to visit them.

But, in the interest of science, I can try to duplicate this. Can you explain in a little more detail what I should be looking for? I gather that if you get 3-star scores in the entire Mighty Hoax episode, there’s supposed to be special music when you open the golden egg bonus for that episode?

I could take me a while to re-create this, because I actually have a harder time at these earlier episodes for some reason…but I can give it a go, if you don’t mind being patient.

@sweetp @bad-piggies2 I’m not sure which funky theme you are referring to. I get the regular music when I open the golden eggs. I have no idea which golden egg is from Mighty Hoax, however my sound seems to be working on several of the golden egg episodes that I tried.

ABSW2 – crashes after logging in to new rovio account. Worked fine for a while after signing up but now haven’t been able to play in a couple weeks. Tried the recommended hard reboot 12x now. Also tried on a second iphone too. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it’ll work so long as I don’t log into the rovio acct. Refusing to start game over since I put in 24 hours into it already. I sent the info to rovio already- they just stated a hard reboot should fix the problem. My reply to them was left unanswered. Latest update released 3/10/14 did not resolve either. I appreciate any feedback on this.

Just updating: Rovio responded today. They indicated my account’s “save file” was corrupted which they retrieved and restored. Except it wasn’t my save file or it was an incomplete one. I logged in to find 0 credits (previous tally was 3700+) and half the levels not completed. This experience has me regretting going after those 200 extra credits by signing up.

AB Rio, level 1, after bird is shot, debris accumulating, suddenly almost all the debris disappears but no points are added. This has happened twice, have screenshot of the second one. I’m playing on an iPad2.

I’m on a PC IE running, Windows7 and I’m having problem with Rio 2 High Dive level 9. After the first 2 shots it freezes and an info window pops up asking if I want to wait for it to correct itself or close the program. The wait doesn’t seem to be an option, so I close it, and have to start over again. I don’t lose anything, but I can’t continue either. So far it’s the only level that’s giving me any problems. I wonder if this may be a bug. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This issue is on level 17, too. when you fling Bubbles (2nd Bird).
I hope this issue will be fixed in next version of this game.

i seem to have a bug on AB Go….try downloading the newest update….or even just run the game….it loads then just stops and goes back to the phone home screen. running updated version on LG Viper, Android ICS 4.0.4

AB Go : In Sub Zero I played it and it was hard because it was my first time and first times are always the hardest but when I came back it is weird the background became more lower that when in the main menu the background became black -_- and when i came to episode selection screen bg is still mostly black

Very rare glitch in level 16-9 of Mine and Dine in AB Original on iPad the golden egg sometimes glitches out and leaves a 1 pixel wide white line thats vertical and directly to the left of it.

I think i found a bug or someting of that kind. I play all angry bird games for some time now. I have a samsung galaxy s. I uploded, to my album, a screen of my score (78260)on level 1 of Angry Birds Rio High Dive. I was trying to get above average when it happened, i launched red bird, like so many times before, at the tnt, and then when all stuff started to came down the game crashed. It appeared on screen a message to wait or force game to stop and exit. I waited, i left the phone for some time, and went to do other things. Then later when i came back to play again, i had start the game again and to my surprise i had that score.
(@amslimfordy) Can you explain me what happened?

Ever since the latest IOS update for Star Wars, the lightsaber bird doesn’t work! You fling the bird and when you tap on the screen to “slash” it doesn’t do anything. All the other birds respond correctly except the red light saber one. Any ideas??? Using Iphone 5s with latest firmware.

I just started Angry Birds. I’m getting a screen showing a red bird on the left, a globe on the right, and a red cross circle between them. The screen freezes that way. I have to close it, let four minutes go by, and then restart. The freeze screen comes up after four or five trys to pass the level.

Hi Cindy, that sounds like the screen that means your internet connection is lost for some reason. You might want to check your settings or turn of the internet connection completely. That way Angry Birds will not go looking for it between every reset of a level. Hope this helps!

Hey, all! In angry birds star wars II the bird points from achievement will not add into my point total. What is up with that? I’m trying to unlock some characters, and the prokside on bird side and vice versa. Any one willing to check it out? I’m on a nexus 7 still running stock hardware.

Some achievements have “Character Swaps” as rewards; some have bird coins as rewards. These are issues one-time when the achievement is earned.

I was playing the weekly tournament of angry bids friends on facebook of 21st of April trying to raise my scores. In the first level something happened that caused my score to keep going up, now I have a score of over 2.000.000.000, I know it’s impossible to get it that high but it doesn’t seem to get back to normal even if I reload the page

On Angry Birds Go Polar Ice cup. Challenge 2 of ice splat says to use 10 boost pads. But the level does not have any boost pads in it. Check it out.

There is a consistently repeatable bug in ABFB Level 4 on PC. If you use all of the birds, then use the WM, it lets you normally launch the WM but then the game cuts to scoring BEFORE the WM is done racking up points. I have seen this at least a dozen times, and it is very frustrating, because the “ice” and other debris that the WM can collect contains a lot of points.

OK, Great Obi-Wan @tienshenlong, I have gotten 172K on Level 4, and that was using the YB into the TNT strat, no PU’s, because it is clear that even extra WM cannot help, it is all about the first “explosion” of the YB into the TNT. This is like Level 1 where you need a lucky shot into the top. OR do you have another suggestion for Level 4? Even when I 1-bird it, I do not get nearly the points that you and John have…

Every time I try to get into Angry Birds Go it goes thru all screens and then right when I’m ready to play it goes back to the app. It’s very aggravating.

ABSW won’t let me scroll to the left within any level once I have left the app and used another app (Chrome, FB, YouTube, text, etc). It won’t scroll left automatically either. I am constantly having to kill ABSW and relaunch in order to be able to play the game. I have rebooted my phone and it is still doing it – very annoying!
