2k gems purchase advice welcome!

Hi, first post here.

 

Hi – I’ll have 2k gems in hand by the next event.

I don’t have any Iconic, Enslaver or Specialists yet.

Any suggestions of who would be good to pick up for my 2k when they appear in the store? I’ll have sparks and gems in hand to level them so I can use them that week, but know nothing about any of the three squads and who would be good to grab.

This is a very challenging question since we dont know ur tfs. Like if u have challange run I suggest u to get superion and max it out and get to high leauges with him.

But if u already have enough characters for other events and stuff(which is the situation im in rn) this is my plan:

Imo classic bumblebee is the best for the event so Im gonna buy his bundle right away.

 

That will give me 35k sparks so I can upgrade him instantly. I will also grind around 40k sparks before the event to promote him very well. Then since i have been saving my tokens from the pass i will use them and go for both nemesis prime and epic optimus.

For specialists event I will go for Nightbird and that’s it. Only breakdown is good in that squad other than Nightbird but if I won’t be able to unlock breakdown I won’t rlly care tbh.

 

For enslavers event all im gonna do is save up for 10 gold crates lol. No tfs in that squad is good.

Thanks very much. Yeah I’ve got Superion maxed on level and gear and Mirage at full strength for Spark Run. He struggles a bit past level 270 as he’s still only red promotion but I use him, Superion and usually at least one TF from the bonus squad to help the score multiplier.

 

im basically looking for the best TF in each squad to take me through the weekly event with a decent chance of earning the required 7-10k for a new TF of crates.

How do you save tokens from the Pass? I thought tokens got wiped if they were not spent each week by th end of the exchange window.

Ah, I think maybe you haven’t claimed them yet, so they haven’t been added to your total yet?

@grayhamster yeah I haven’t claimed them yet so I’m gonna use them for the next week’s event.

Nice, I grabbed mine already to try and hit the 10k needed for Volcanicus… we’ll see if I make it though.

@grayhamster volcanicus is trash imo lol. He can barely destroy blocks and he doesnt have any special ability.

Good to know – is there an advantage to having the completed squad though? Like if the next time around both are used?

@grayhamster Combiners/Gestalt squad never lets you use 2 tfs as far as I have seen. I also thought about that and checked the previous gestalt events but nope, they all let players use only 1 TF. If u want u can gamble with the crates or unlock devastator(if u havent) or something else. What I usually do is using a bug to reopen the 10 gold crates and do it until I get a character. Idc if people call it “cheating”. Since I wanna be done with the game in a year and an a half max.

@galaxes Like most characters he needs to be overpowered a couple of times to reach his true power level. Then he can take out everything with ease. Not having a secondary attack is a negative but he is good enough that he doesn’t really need it.

@grayhamster Completing squads increases the amount of coins you can get from on the map.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>@sntroops coins are hella easy to grind imo. Still, if a TF has to be overpowered to like lvl 20 then he isnt good. Volcanicus is trash overall.</p>
