It’s just Phoenix and I on the team right now so it must not be available to everyone else for some reason.

This said, team ABGOCHAMPS exists on the leaderboard (for me). We’re already #2 in the world with just this racing duo. Our score is actually right too with 413,755 :)

I don’t know if it matters when searching for the team but ABGOCHAMPS is in all CAPS in the game.

Hope to see you all soon … hehe … it’s been a while since we blew up the team and recreated it ! From ABGOFAST to ABGOFASTER to ABGOFORIT to ABGOCHAMPS :)

Edit – Update:
My theory on why the team was available immediately to @phoenix6 but not yet to @stevep and @rhonda90402 is twofold:

1. Android users vs iphone users. I bet it takes time for the integration between devices to get updated in Rovio’s behind-the-scene setup of this game
2. @phoenix6 and I are both using old version of the app game. I wonder if this also causes delays as the versions of game sync together with player information to the database files

Hopefully soon…I tried the all caps, says “team not found”. I then tried to form a team with the same name…you guessed it–“team already exists”. I’ll keep trying, but getting ready to head to Louisville, KY to see BRUUUCE, so I won’t be too active until the first of the week. Good luck team!

@abgofast I believe you are spot on with the first part of your theory…didn’t think of that. However since I couldn’t get my backup to work on my new phone I had to resort to racing on the newest version of the app. That’s why this is all a potentially big discovery…everyone on the latest version should be able to race team multiplayer as well.

Are we the only ones on android now? Racing has been going pretty well for me still even with our “reserve” pig minion finishing last every single time.

I still can’t see your new team or ABGOFORIT any more this morning but will keep checking when I can. I guess that ABGOFORIT was disbanded when abgofast left it. The random team I joined doesn’t show me on that team anymore either but the button to join that team is grayed out so I should be free to join any team right now as the option comes up to pick and choose.

I looked up all the teams I made in the past when I could only play for a few hours at a time and most are still there with a bunch of players with my name and a few other players on them…weirdly though some seem to have changed their flags logos and different people seem to be using my emoticon…it is a strange mixed up game!

I am racing multi-player now on the Chinese new year update without that ‘must be online to proceed’ error Reacquired the monkey kart too.
I have the old version 1.8.7 version archived should things screw up again.

I hope another Android users finds the team @alcusto? My guess is iPhone users have to be patient for the cross platform logic on rovio’s server synchronize … its clearly not a real time synchronization.

I have just had the nice surprise of losing everything completely, not only the GEs but also my bird coins, gems, all my 70 karts, single player challenges, everything. I’m so disgusted. What should I do now? Ask the useless Salla to reinstate their backup of my account from yesterday?

@alcusto aha damn it … you might get luck with trying to grab the cloud data if you close the app my shutting off phone vs exiting game normally. Other than that, the restore might work but no guarantee how far their backups go. Salla can push the backup to your device but i had to uninstall the game and go to the rovio account website and sign in there then close it, reinstall app, login into rovio account and the data restored. Hope it doesnt take as long for you

@abgofast I couldn’t play for an hour or so this morning and it appears others are having the same problem today. I noticed some of the vuks players renamed themselves as CNXNERROR, SAMEHERE, etc.

I hope all your other team members come back to roost on ABGOCHAMPS…I have seen others who have commented here on Angry Birds nest have returned to the team…I just wanted to say you came up with a great new name considering how many other team names start with ABGO now.

It was weird to play against my former team as my first race on this team yesterday. There were only a couple players on there that were there before on WE DO 4U before all the trouble though.

Seems the team is available again “to everyone” and the newbies have joined it.

This morning, I raced with you 5 team members and the rest of spots not filled. Now, all 10 were filled and I banished the bottom 4 cause they do not meet the ABGOCHAMPS required of driver license 25 (ABGO56 is back on the team cause he/she has 12,000+ even though he/she isn’t someone I know or to my knowledge isn’t on this forum)

The worst is that after I banished everyone, I can’t race. The “must be online to proceed” message comes up immediately when trying to race. This morning, it was only received one my first attempt to race but going back into multiplayer a 2nd time, I could race to get to 206,602 before taking a break (I miss the unlimited Senna Birds from v1.8.7 now forced to cycle through all birds again!).

I’m now wondering if the “corruption of multiplayer” is tied to my decision to remove these newbie teammates. The game crashed on me after my first banishment. Then I banished everyone and the game screen went blank and app closed without warning. When I went back in, those banished were back and you guys were all gone! Then I moved forward to race and got the error message to be online to proceed came up and it returned me back to normal team page with you 5 plus ABGO56 on it.

All of what I describe is not normal behavior you’d expect the app to do. I’m now concerned I’ve corrupted our team.

I’ll give it some time to see if it’s just bad luck on my end and you all can race.

Yes a number of our teammates have returned but there still are a few who have “lost” their eggs/progress and are trying to get their accounts restored so they can rejoin. I am also a fan of the new team name but I can’t take credit for it. Our great captain @abgofast is the one who recreated the team with the new name not me. He created the first ABGOFAST team and has been with it since the beginning where I was lucky enough to join in a few months later after finding this forum.

Sorry for the mix-up…The compliment goes to abgofast then…I tried to race just now..same old message like abgofast said above…I left team and returned and same “you need to be online to proceed message”…what is funny is yesterday I never saw abgochamps in leaderboard but afgoforit was at the top…not sure why.

Okay … so just to see what would happen, I banished ABGO56 returning to the 5 of us and immediately the racing started to work again. Therefore, I guess there are racers that are still hacking the game and this causes the error. I do notice on the individual leaderboard a new leader HALJESTEMJS with 8,898,872 eggs. Clearly a hacker that made it back to leaderboard. Its been months that Ive seen hacked scores after Rovio did a pretty good job to clean this up (even though it took them forever to deal with it!)

So whether ABGO56 was cause of the problem or not, he or she appeared to be a legit racer from his or her license stats. Also, last weekend when I was using v1.8.7, he`or she was racing and accumulating golden eggs through racing at same time I was doing so.

This cant be all a coincidence but I cant figure this game app logic out! Then again … the folks that created it have no ***expletive deleted *** clue either!

@oldschool … are you having similar problems as @janmej and @alcusto … hope you return to us … your 78 thousand puts us over the 800 thousand and without it we`re stuck behind the VUKS for second place

@rhonda90402 … it`s okay to give credit to @phoenix6 as the mastermind behind the team… I would rather be known as the good looking one of the team anyway … no way I can handle the pressure of being both :D haha

What a bummer you are having problems… I hope it gets fixed. I only played a little this morning but noticed my warp speed boost wasn’t working when playing as Chuck when I pushed the button and I had to click it numerous times to make it engage. Also, a few games my cart kept pulling to the left. I will have to see if it happens next time I play.

@all Winning eggs is more dificult now. I lost about the 50% of the races. We need more teammates! I play Mario kart 8 and then this game, and I saw that winning points is easier in Mario Kart 8. We have to get better.

@abgofast @phoenix6 I don’t know what you 2 masterminds did, but it was something Rovio couldn’t or wouldn’t do for many months. The game is still buggy at times, but at least I can race on my iPhone. The iPad still just shows the hourglass. Feels good to be back in the seat-thanks guys!

@corporaldaesn it seems to really depends on the day and who the game is pairing our team with for me (not to mention how it manipulates SPS and PUs). From my experience one day our team could only be winning 50% of the time the next day it could be 90% of the time.

@stevep Just glad to see more people back racing.

@abgofast seems there is another hacker or something that joined the team. Keep getting the check your internet connection message. At least I hope that’s all it is.
