When you do your daily objectives you’ve also got the speel to whin wheel to spin, and completing the objectives takes me 3-6 battles so that’s a bonus right there… I would wait ;)

After new objectives started I did not win a coin toss until I switched back to blues cheater set. I was trying to fulfill “win 2 and knock out all 3 with single attack” For me it is almost impossible if I lose the toss. Very stressful. I am sick of losing 90% of the tosses. I wish Rovio would unfix what ever they did. Good luck.

@dallasreds I am also really tired of always losing the toss my battles take longer and it is actually unfair and therefore defeats the object of a good game. To be honest I still win but there is a cap on rank at the moment. What is your line up? You could try mine. I have lost many more more banners to freezes than battles such that I can no longer use Vengeance or Retaliate. Rovio have failed to fix this problem which began in season 4. I am currently using Time jump but I am not enamoured.

I think this coin toss is deliberate. Not only to promote the dice but also Chucks new set. I do believe it will return to 50/50. If it doesn’t this game will die even faster than it already is. With no new content we have essentially to play the same thing over and over again. Continue to autoplay to gain mastery and nothing else. Boredom is setting in.

What is the most annoying task for you in arena? I hate most where u must use Rage Chili 4 times per battle and do it 3 times. This one is most time consuming for me.

Albeit not that hard to execute, I agree about the “Use Rage Chilli 4 times in 3 battles”. I just bring Witch and rage her 3 times, then use the last rage on Chuck.

Another bad objective is winning battles and KO’ing 10 (or more) birds per battle… 6 is doable but if I get more I always risk destroying the banner too quickly. :( Plus, Resurrection is a threat to this objective, and that’s the most common emblem…

“KO birds while they attack your banner”… Another classic. :(

And another Resurrection-only problem: KO’ing 3 birds in a single turn, or even in a single attack. Just when you don’t need it one bird always revives.

Double arena points helped me get up from #13 to #6. :) 2 stars will do for me.

@suzyq I woke up this morning… and was shocked to read what was going on… it’s just awful and upsetting beyond words. Whatever is wrong with the world!? Please, please be safe. You and yours are in my thoughts. (I’m an expat too; an Aussie in Germany)

KO 10 birds per battle is annoying too but not that much as 4 Rages per battle. For those rages, I use Matilda-Druid with Perfect Balance set (Rage Chili fills up 35% faster), Paladin with no chain-attacks, Tricksters with no chain-attacks, and Banner Blazing set (50% more Chili). I start with Matilda Rage and keep KO-ing opposing birds to get another Matilda Rages. Do u have better strategy how to do it faster or somehow better?

KO 10 birds per battle is lower version of 4 rages per battle :) When I make 4 rages I always KO more than 10 birds :)

“KO birds while they attack your banner”: I use Elite Mage (Mana set), Rogues and Matilda. I think that the strategy here is clear, right :)? I make this one usually in one battle very fast. Resurrection emblem is only little problem here. Especially whn u fight against team with power only 450 :) – I will talk about it in the following article:)

KO-ing 3 birds at once: Resurrection emblem is big problem here so I restart the game to get team without Resurrection emblem :) I pick Bomb and Skulkers with Underdog emblem and it is done :) Also I dont play it against mana set or Blessed banner set (or that white banner set) ofcourse :) But teams with power around 450 usually dont have anything of those items :) Thats my strategy to prepare such a low power team with my low power items that I spared from my low levels :)

I waited for double arena points too :) It is good to be smart :D

BTW. my experience with coin toss in arena today:
I made 30 battles with this result (1-won, 0-lost): 000000001100100001010000000000 (5 won, 25 lost). Hmmm, thats not good :(

@angryde thanks for your kind words. It was a shock at the time but it is over now. I live on the outskirts of a small town by the sea amongst Turks who have always been good to me. I have a lot of family living in Queensland.

@smwforever45 you did very well today. The wheel has been good to me today so far and the coin toss whilst still losing alot to go first I do get to go first a bit more. The annoying thing is I can guarantee it give me far more Ist goes when I visit Piggy Mcool which is annoying.

My objectives for the last day of the week:
– KO 3 birds with Matilda!
– Win 2 battles and don’t heal the banner!
– Win 3 battles with Spies and… Sea Dog…

Well I mean I could possibly buy the class after the last GPC run tomorrow… But I’d have a very hard time winning battles with a Mastery 1 or 2 class…

Just spent the last hour using ETBird in lieu of Wizard in Arena as part of my Power Team (not sure when/if Yosh will want to borrow my Chuck), and must say I did quite enjoy the change. Not saying this switch will be permanent, but having my ESeaDog hit a target under Thunderclap for over 7K was quite enjoyable!

It says I can borrow your bird again in 3 hours. It shows Elite Paladin but I’ll keep signing in and out until I get your T-bird. :P

I could well imagine a switch from Wizard to T-bird if it’s that good. I still see Wizard the most in the Arena but T-bird is commonly used as well.

Hey I’m actually winning battles! With a Sea Dog at rank 2… XD
The big advantage is that Bomb is now targeted first which often leaves Chuck alive in the first round even if I lose the toss.

EDIT: I cleared the Sea Dog/Spies objective! Take that, Rovio!!! XD

Yep! SeaDog is a pretty awesome class! Mine is my first to graduate to M:14 and even with my level 52 set, it packs a real puch! (3296 for its normal attack and its rage yields 3955 damage to all pigs).

Been following the TBird vs SeaDog convo with interest but I still don’t have Elite TBird so TBird is really not that useful to me although all my Chuck classes are M:13. My main set for Chuck is a level 52 Mana set and it’s useful to protect against harmful effects, but it doesn’t quite have the attack punch I need to survive today’s Arena. Wizard and my Elite Mage yield much better results.

@suzyq I’m glad you were well out it, honestly. I’ll be following the repercussions with immense interest. I’ve been to Turkey several times and the people were absolutely lovely. So funny about your relatives in Queensland… that’s my birth state! Townsville, to be exact! :-D
