Brian N@briann
From their Funky Gibbon period(I think musical scholars define this period as their acme)
Nappy Song by The Goodies
Desperate Dan@desperate-danThe jukebox has just self-combusted.
Brian N@briannMust be all that Steely Dan.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danWe roll on to S. Brian will be pleased that I don’t have many letters left. In this song SD explicitly reference themselves in the lyrics. Any other examples?
Brian N@briannThink we’ve been here before @desperate-dan and I probably played this. More of a lyrical joke than a name check methinks but any excuse.
Brian N@briannThis is definitely a name check.
Brian N@briannHow about a name check in the title.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danGood work @brianN. Black Sabbath and Talk Talk spring to mind along the lines of the PIL example.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danGetting near the end now. This is a good one for T.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danCarnage on today’s Wordle, if anyone plays it. Survived…just.
Also desperately trying to get a 0 birder to work in ABO. Level 14-4. I’m back to version 3.2.0 which is supposed to have the glitch but it’s not really happening. This is the last proof required for USS badge. I have the score logged but no proof so I have to do it all over again or bribe @sweetp somehow. Any ideas anyone?
Desperate Dan@desperate-danWhat do you mean @sweetp is sitting in one of the booths?
Ooops!
Brian N@briannI presume you’ve tried leaving it on a repeat rinse while you take Twiggy up a mountain? Sure it’s the right version?
Brian N@briannNotice you g ot the score as recently as Oct 22 but you mention v 3.4.0 in your walkthrough post?
Desperate Dan@desperate-danOh yeah, I meant 3.4.0, that’s the one I am using. Not getting a wobble using Nox, will have to go back to Bluestacks. There does seem to be variety. The only reason I can surmise is I am forced into using different zooms in order to get stable macros. So, does anyone else think that zoom is a factor that changes behaviour?
Desperate Dan@desperate-danRoooooooooooooot!
Brian N@briannAssume that’s a reference to the cricket not a zero birder?
Not sure what you mean about zoom and macros.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danNox has a mind of its own with changing zoom randomly unless you just stick to fully zoomed in (which means shooting blind BTW). Seems to give different outcomes to BS when zoomed out. But my zoom/un-zoom question was more general, i.e, does it make a difference within the same application. Some say so, but I’m not sure.
HunnyBunny@hunnybunnyAnd Rooooot!
HunnyBunny@hunnybunnyHunnyBunny@hunnybunnyI love Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa, but other that this wonderful song, it has Steely Dan connection
Joe played in California, at a gig where there no headliners, just got pulled out the bag.
He was on after Steely Dan, a young upcoming musician, Donald left the stage, got into a huge black Merc, Walter left the stage, got into an identical black Merc, and thought “This is the life for me”
He did well..
Desperate Dan@desperate-danThat’s a good song @hunnybunny. Her voice, and the somewhat sparse backing, oddly put me in mind of Portishead. I could imagine a trip hop version of this.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danTalking of Donald, I am going here for W. A fun and catchy little number. Turns out Walter must have been the psycho. Only Y to come.
Brian N@briannProbably the wrong person to ask about zoom given my default position is always fully zoomed out.Never had issues with Nox Or BS .On the rare occasion I do zoom in it stays that way and vice versa.Don’t know about recording.
I’m being plagued at the moment with birds either leaving the slingshot prematurely or exploding before release.Mainly on BS and just Seasons as far as I can tell.Maybe PC running hot?Happens regularly though and for prolonged periods.
Brian N@briannBet Ollie Pope’s cat is glad he’s not in Pakistan right now.
Desperate Dan@desperate-danPremature ejection eh? I guess you shouldn’t turn your PC on.
Hey, quite witty don’t you think?
