    Not bad for you @desperate-dan though I did set it up nicely.

    @desperate-dan, The only difference zooming in or out when flinging is the ability to see precise aiming pixels when zoomed in. That’s my experience, anyway.

    Sorry, rukes are rules. Gotta have that screenshot proof, no cutting corners.

    @desperate-dan

    I expect you are correct @sweetp about zooming although there are one or two threads that have people suggesting otherwise. The app can clearly make a difference as I’m sure many of us have experienced.

    As far as my 48th and final screenshot goes, I’m really really trying. Only the glitch will do and although I had it in 2022, I just can’t find it again. But I will track it down and when I find it I will kill it.

    Where’s my glass of milk?

    Final SD track is Y.   Enjoy.

    Back to version 1.6 to find the glitch. Problem is, unlike many of the later versions, you have to play all 250-odd levels to get to 14-4. And then I still may find it’s the wrong version. But since it is 2011-12 era, this is where I need to go.

    Seeing as everyone gave up on novelty songs, how about vocals only

    Hey, were you watching the BBC2 40 songs programme tonight @hunnybunny?  The Tom’s Diner choice seems a big co-incidence if not.

    Dan, I was!

    Don’t tell Brian, but I much preferred SD to The Fall

    @desperate-dan

    I won’t tell Brian. It’s between you and me. Only caught the second half of that programme, I need to go back and watch the first half if I can. I’m guessing there wasn’t any Fall that I missed.

    Level 14-4, Version 1.6 of ABO is a 0-birder! On the case, @sweetp.

    465 attempts on 14-4. 178th place. Could be a long haul.

    It’s on auto play @hunnybunny, Brian’s favourite. It may need a week or two at this rate. But I won’t be there, ha ha.

    I’m going to play songs from just one year, arguably the greatest ever year for music, 1971. Opening the case for the defence is this little hors d’oeuvres. Check out the piano player.  Sub-titles get very confused – giving up and just resorting to [MUSIC] is a bit of a cop out.

    @desperate-dan

    1481 attempts on 14-4, up to 105th.

    Warming to my 1971 theme, Pink Floyd released Meddle, the first of their really stellar albums throughout the 70s. This track is a gem, IMO.

    @desperate-dan

    Linking back to the first song and to the pianist. Some people rank this as his best ever song, from Madman Across The Water 1971.

    Bedlam in the Wordle World this week. First we had GAMUT which had some people frothing at the mouth and being extremely abusive because “it was a word they had never heard of and was therefore unfair”.  Oh you poor things! But far worse was CORER which sent the same sort of ignorant idiots into full-blown insane meltdown. Being the third hardest word ever (out of over 1200 games) meant that many lost their winning streaks and they were not happy. But the main complaint that “they didn’t even know that it was a word” holds little water as this is just a common kitchen implement that most people probably own. Oddly enough, the hardest Wordle word of all (so far) was PARER* another common kitchen implement. If you can’t stand the heat then get out of the kitchen! Or go crying to your MUMMY (the second hardest ever Wordle word).

    *CORER and PARER are hard not because the words are “unknown” but because they are very similar to a lot of other words which people end up guessing first. Words ending in ER are dangerous and good Wordle players know ways to deal with them.

    Free drinks and food for anyone kicking their way through the tumbleweed.

    After months and months of effort, where my total has been teetering on 97, 98, 99, 98, 99, 98 and 99 (sabotaged by @brianN on at least one occasion) my ABO/Classics haul of trophies has finally reached 100. Out of 699 levels. I can say this now and allow myself to be shot at because I don’t care if they get stolen from this point on.

    Before Brian starts moaning about the dark side I will point out that 59 of these are from Classics levels and therefore fat fingered on my little phone. Of the other 41 maybe about half were the result of running macros so I think at least 80% of the trophies were obtained in the same way as anyone else would have a chance of doing without automation (and I suspect in several cases I was beating earlier automation).

    There are a cluster of fairly dedicated Classics devotees, several of whom have captured my trophies multiple times, so there isn’t too much low hanging fruit left, in case anyone thought it was simple. But it is admittedly not as tough as ABO and I think a few more could be possible. @realfish and @hallieGinSB have 43 Classics trophies between them and I have a few of those in my sights.

    Anyway, happily chugging along by myself, feeling a bit like a DJ in the small hours. Back to 1971, who’s next. Who’s Next in fact. Townshend at the peak of his powers.

    @hunnybunny

    1971 OK, 1972 much better…

    Dan, did you get them all? I failed miserably on lots of -0-er, -a-ed, et al…
