How Long Did it Take You to Complete Cowboy, Pirate, and Knight Hat Sets?

I have a diamond level slingshot which I got after completing all but the Cowboy, Pirate, and Knight hat sets. Those last three sets seem pretty discouraging to get since their black pearl prices are so high. For those who have one or more of those last three sets, I am wondering how long it took you to achieve those? That is, assuming you have COMPLETED all the lower hat sets, how long afterwards did it then take you to complete:
1. the Cowboy hat set?
2. the Pirate hat set?
3. the Knight hat set?

I actually got the Cowboy set 1st as I didn’t realise it would only level up the slingshot by one. Once I realised the error of my ways I had to save again to get all the lower level sets. I’ve recently bought my 1st two pirate hats, am expecting to complete those and the Knight hat set sometime during 2018 ??

Playing on two gadgets has helped a lot in getting those sets, I’d be nowhere near otherwise.

I am current 1 short in Cowboy hat set with 200+ black pearls short.

When the hat sets idea first came out I went for all the lower ones back then so I could get the slingshots upgrades. When Rovio add more hats I went back to get the lower requirements sets as well, again to upgrade the slingshots. I probably will finally finish the Cowboy set either end of this week or next week. The rest will take eternity.

Before the Halloween havoc update I was finishing top 1-2-3 in the arena leagues Diamond league now been playing ABs2 since march and Diamond sling…need two cowboy hats to finish them. This game will operate on thought power at light speed before I get those 1,000 pearl hat sets.

Like penz, I play ab2 simulateously on an iPad and iPhone. I play both DC and KPP on the 2 everyday and try to maintain at least 3rd-4th place in the arena.

1.cowboy hats took about 3 months for me since I didn’t have an iPad at the time.
2. With the iPad pirate hats took about 2 months
3. For knight hats, since their introduction last month I’ve already collected 3 of them. If I win DC and KPP tomorrow, I should have enough to buy the 4th and 5th hats. If I play this way, I should have my final two knight sets by end of the month to get the elder gold sling

I finished all my sets in 2099

…meaning, without cheating, that’s how long it’s going to take me to collect all this stuff. I’ll probably just get bored of the game and un-install it before I ever complete all of this.

Not to be morbid or anything, but I’ll be long dead by the time Angryplayer would reach 2099.

Being Iam 59 now with health issues and have backed off taking ABs2 so seriously. I will do what I feel like, enjoy the game and forget the rest.

I’ll be long dead as well… I was subtly making a point about how Rovio keeps lifting the achievements bar to keep addicted players in the game, to a point where, without cheating, it would take almost a lifetime of playing to complete those achievements.

And or course once everyone gets closer to completing their Knight hat sets (et al) and is playing with fully leveled birds and a diamond slingshot, you can bet Rovio will turn around and introduce a whole new tier of birdwear to some other ridiculously high purchase level and a whole new tier of slingshots that multiply your score by a googleplex… and the gameplay will be the exact same.

It’s called ‘player base burnout’… :P
