How do you upgrade your storage capacity in Battle Bay?

Both my gold and sugar cube storage is maxed out at 100 K and 50 K respectively. I can’t find a way to upgrade this to add more. Any ideas?

Your storage capacity is linked to your Captain Level.

– Level up your Captain by earning XP points.
– XP points are earned when you upgrade any crew member starting at Level 1.

Based on the list, Level 12 is when it becomes possible to create a guild.

@mighty-red-1 Indeed, has anyone unlocked a rare or epic item yet? I got a bunch of common and uncommon ones with a few perks.

Maybe it’s too early given my storage capacity :)

@sal9 I’ve got a few rare items, no epic items yet. Just keep an eye on the shop for rare (blue-colored) free gifts and mystery boxes. I assume epic (purple-colored) free gifts and mystery boxes will start spawning eventually. Some of the achievements reward you with rare items, maybe epic items too.
Rare and epic items do spawn in the shop from time to time as buyables, but their prices are at a few 100 Ks and a few millions of coins respectively.
