My high scores are GONE

I sure was surprised to see when I logged in that all of my scores for Seasons, all of my scores for Rio, and all of my scores for original Angry Birds (except for Jurassic Pork, Tutorial, and 1 out of 44 for Piggy Farm) HAVE BEEN DELETED.  I don’t understand why.  Every first-place high score, which was only a handful, was verified with a screenshot, and no score was ever posted using power-ups.  What in the world has happened?!

@catthief My friend had a similar problem. I lost all my original Angrybirds scores last week. They just disappeared. I got them back by logging into my Rovio account. If you have one try that. Also for Seasons and Rio try logging in with Facebook. With any luck you will get your scores and progress back.

Thank you, @gumby, but I guess I’m out of luck.  I never set up a Rovio account since I’m on Android, and I read where backups were glitchy, so I didn’t want to risk having my progress wiped from my tablet like others have had happen.  As for FB, I don’t have an account there.  It really is disheartening since I spent a lot of time through the years entering my scores.  Oh well.

@catthief sorry you can’t get your scores and progress back. I feel your pain. I lost progress and scores from ABO, Space, Seasons, Rio and Star Wars when the phone that I used to play on died. I had to start all over again. It was tough but I recovered most of that lost progress since then and even improved my scores and flinging on many levels. Don’t give up. GOOD LUCK

@gumby at least I haven’t lost my progress in the apps on my tablet.  That’s the most important thing.  I did, though, enjoy seeing how my scores stacked up here, competing to score better than average, and enjoying a handful of first-place spots.  It isn’t the end of the world, just very disappointing.
