NEED MORE INVENTORY SPACE

Because of the changes that were made to the dungeons, we now have to collect 5 black birds, 5 yellow birds, 5 white birds, 5 red birds, and 5 blue birds. You need a full team of each color for the dungeons. That’s 25 birds taking up precious inventory space. When the game first came out in August 2016, the dungeons didn’t work that way. You didn’t have to make space for 25 ‘dungeon birds’. You increased the requirements for the dungeons, now increase our inventory space past 100!

You can purchase additional inventory space with Gems, just tap on the plus sign next to where the game shows your inventory status.  I have had to increase space to hold Prestige Totems that I have received, but will not be able to use for some time.

I agree. I know we can purchase inventory space, but it would be nice to have another 10-20 spots for birds and totems.

It´s all about the money. Buy slots for 25 Gems each or spend real $.

I spent exactly 3 Euro on this game which at least gave me 1x 4 star bird.

All other stuff was gambled with free eggs.

 

I don´t think that Rovio really cares.

Inventory space is currently capped at 100. You cannot currently buy more than that.

In response to the spirit of what @martinb mentioned. I have actually been very happy with how this game has not required me to spend money. I have been playing for two weeks and without spending ANY real life money, I have managed to acquire:

-Two 5-star birds, level both to 40, evolve both 2x
-Five 4-star birds, level all to 40, evolve one 2x, others 1x
-Team Power is 9677
-Raise my inventory slots to 55
-Started a Clan, got 10 members, leveled it to level 2

My intention is not to brag, but simply to say that this is the fastest I have have ever been able to progress in a Rovio game (or maybe any game) without spending any real life money to do so. I have been VERY happy with the game in that respect, and very satisfied with game progression so far!

Lucky you ))) The two 4-stars birds I mean…  Really Nise relation between 5 and 4 stars. I’ve got 12x four stars and had until today only one 5-star (got a second one today)

Playing way too much + the Red event that ran last week. I got lots of golden tickets doing the Red missions and just kept opening golden eggs. By the time the event was over, I had four 4-star birds, Red himself (5-star), and I got lucky and managed to hatch a 5-star Geraldine.

Leveling them up was a combination of playing way too much and efficiently leveling them by leveling up Shiny 1 or 2-star birds, evolving them, and feeding them to the 4 and 5-star birds. They level up WAY faster and cheaper that way!

You can do the same right now because the Captain Freedom event is running. In fact, I managed to score another 4-star bird last night because of it. Just getting golden tickets and hatching golden eggs with them.

I did it with this event, yes. I got the captain in the 6th golden egg i used after the event start. AND I am playing way to much :-D

But before this I had to use around 50 golden eggs during the Red event to get one 5-star white bird =(

BTW, do you know, how many essence bottles you need for evolution on level 60?

I do not. I haven’t gotten that far yet. Maybe there are others who know and will post a reply here.
