New Character – Ionstorm

The new character Ionstorm is in the 2nd TF in the Reinforcements squad.

I have not tried it out yet. Post below if you have any info this TF’s primary and secondary weapon or any comments whether it’s worth getting or not.

The Ionstorm event is starting today.

The top prize is Ionstorm for 10k tokens. This is yet another single TF event (but at least energonicon can be used). Also, not too thrilled that Cosmos is the only promoted TF.

(note: setting my time zone to Samoa time gave me a half-day head start )

@abt thank you for notice about event. But be carefull with often time zones change. Some players got banned in the past because of this. They somehow repeat daily quests many times.

@papakarlo Thanks for the warning. That’s good to know. I used to travel a bit and noticed that my daily quests get reset every time I get off the plane. Sometimes more than once a day if I have to change planes.

I’ve been playing this event and noticed there are a lot of giant gold blocks, so it’ll help rack up some coins. Also, it’s Thanksgiving themed, so expect lots of fly turkeys.

@abt I don’t think travelling planes can cause such problems. I talking about multiple time and also a date change, which can cause atleast of Daily quests inactivation, like in this case

@papakarlo Hmm.. I didn’t actually change my clock. I only changed the time zone. Because time zone is relative to +/- UTC (or GMT), the internal time does not change. Time zone basically shows the local time as an offset to UTC. I don’t think that’s the same as actually changing the clock. It seems that in your example, that person may have also changed their clock which may be why the Daily Quests got broken. When you travel from one location to another and the time “changes”, you are only changing the time zone (relative to UTC) and not the actual clock itself.
