Edit: Special feature(s) – black blocks are -1 point., white are +5 and elite pigs are in the event

The bonus squad is Brothers in Armor, consisting of Prowl, Bluestreak, Smokescreen and Beachcomber.

All these TFs are also in the token exchange with accessories.

My thought was that this is same kind of situation than previously with Volcanicus and Optimus Maximus (or Menasor) but the problem now might be that Omega Supreme isn’t activated in the barracks.

When I saw the black and white blocks I thought the event was going to have + and – blocks. Yesterday both were +1 but today – as @papakarlo pointed out – black blocks are -1.

smh…it seems I really learn alot about this game…after the fact…so ok I’ll try to miss ‘black blocks’…I  mean, ‘who knew’!..cough. Like I’ve said before, it’d be nice to have a place where every criteria a (new) player needs to know is ‘right there’…AND…if a change is made daily, then post ‘that’. Not everyone has been playing this since day one and more importantly, you guys do want newer players to stick around right? This page is a ‘start’…Still fun to play though… @exientgreg @grimlockdown

Game still crashing

i think the minus blocks are fekkin’ mindless…good grief you guys running out of ideas?

Initially, I was a bit annoyed by the “-1” black blocks. (This is especially irritating since there’s NO MENTION of this at all in the game/event info screen. Are we supposed to know what “The Good, Bad..” is supposed to mean?) However, I noticed that the white colored (more like light gray) blocks are all +5 blocks!

The Blues/brothers TFs are all terrible at clearing blocks. I usually only hit about half of the blocks. They’re also bad at precision shooting. However, I noticed that they are okay at destroying small clumps of blocks. So, with the strategy of only targeting the “white” blocks and avoid the “black” blocks, I’m earning a respectable number of points (about 600-800 pre-bonus) per run. The key is to only aim at chunks of white blocks and skip any structures that are heavy with black ones. I stopped using Glassor Energon because it was actually doing more harm than good!

After this change from both white (+1)/black (+1) to white (+5)/black (-1), I’m actually scoring more points! Taking out 1 white (+5) and 1 black block (-1) as collateral damage still nets me +4 points as opposed to only +2 for destroying one of each previously.

You can still get some bad runs filled with 80% black blocks and barely any white blocks, but that’s balanced out with some good ones with lots of white blocks.

With new task of getting 5+ points for white blocks.  I suggest that if you have Slipstream use her.  The blocks that she throws count as +5 points each.  Considering she throws 4 at a time you can rack a lot of points especially if you don’t take your finger off the screen and aim at all objects including scenery objects.  Just did a run and got close to 3500 before bonus.

The Evaportron energonicon is very useful. Particularly if it is only upgraded to level 2. With two charges it destroys all glass and wood blocks on the screen without scratching any stone minus blocks.

Slipstream does great indeed! Though I only have her with 175% promo I’m able to get scores from 6 till 10k after bonus. And I just shoot everything, no need to watch out for the minus blocks.

Thanks for the tip, @junction. I have enough for a 10x gold crate, but I think I’ll keep playing now to see how many more gold crates I can earn.

It does appear that her blocks only score when they destroy glass blocks. I had a desert run full of wood blocks and scored a little over 2K before bonus. Had a mine run with a lot of glass blocks and scored almost 3k.
