New Event – Sideswipe

A new event has started! The top prize is Sideswipe.

This event uses one TF and no energonicon.

Special feature(s): Chinese New Year theme, only Autobirds can be used in the event runs

The bonus squad is Speedsters (10), consisting of Mirage (6/SR Killer), Sunstreaker (42), Red Alert (51) and Sideswipe (54).

All these TFs are in the exchange with accessories.

@grimlockdown wow I salute you! Is there a max on overpower or is it indefinite? The highest I’m at on any Transformer is 17.

@voltronpig For practical reasons there is an upper limit for overpower 😉

Currently, the highest that I know, is Mirage’s 2,414%. The other candidates are Soundwaves, Moonracers and maybe Novastar but I don’t have them overpowered enough (they are at levels 16–19).

You 2 are legends. My highest is Neon Soundwave @ +685, Level 16.

Does anything noticeably change from Leveling up besides more power and armor? I noticed some TF’s weapons change at some point (i.e. Airachnid has a new 5-point gun at level 14), or get a new feature (i.e. my Level 16 Neon Soundwave has a regenerate power feature on spark runs I don’t remember it having before, but maybe it did).

I think your “regenerate power” on Neon Soundwave Pig might be the healing from Energon cubes, like the Energon-powered characters.

Correct, it regenerates when I hit those cubes. What other TFs get that benefit? (I don’t know where to find which TF are energon-powered)

Also, some TFs get a forceshield (like Shieldor) around them randomly – I just recently started seeing this.

I still feel like I barely understand this game lol

It’s in the name: prefixes like Energon, Energized or Neon mean TFs are recharged through Energon cubes.

Then there are a number of TFs who innately have some Energonicon like capability, e.g. Mirage (GhostBot), Dirge (EnerBot), Breakdown (StrikeBot†), Cyclonus (BoomShake), Ramjet (Shieldor), Cosmos (ConfuddleBot).

† This really is the StrikeBot Energonicon as one can’t choose StrikeBot for a run.

@voltronpig That list is by no means complete. I have my list in my spreadsheet. Another option is a fandom wiki – if there is such a thing for ABT.
