Without tracing an Island/Arena/Enemies/Events game situation in which you can state “this class is perfect for this”, the question fell in a vacuum made of personal preferences.

You should build “a better team” picking up the best interacting classes with their strenght working well together.

I used to play this way, switching birds and weapons’ as much as I can after evaluating opponents team

When I have to “try” a new cave or level I usually play the first introductive game with Paladin and Rainbird. They are my max level/mastery classes, are both self healing, dealing with multiple enemies, remove opponent curses and have the best two chilirage available. As I told you before, sometimes they are not fit for enemies at all (pirates, ninja, immunities, displacements and so on).

For me, it sometimes depends if Arena or everywhere else

Mathilda : Bard overall. Witch in Arena hands down.
Both are equal on attack. Witch’s healing power for the banner in Arena is incredible.

Red: Samurai for the multiple hits. I also used Paladin exclusively for the longest time. No other Red class come even close to these two.

Chuck: Wizard hands down although, until it gets Elite, I use mostly TBird or Mage.

Blues: These days, Treasure Hunters.
Blues has the most number of great classes. I’m always switching between Tricksters, Rogues and Treasure Hunters. Eagerly awaiting Elite Spies.

Bomb: Pirate was my fave forever. Now I use mostly Cannonee.
Again, multiple hits. SeaDog has highest attack with 100% health but it looses its teeth with one hit. Way too unreliable.
