While I have paid for characters in the past, this is outrageous.
After the major mess up with the last 2 versions of the game plus the fact that everyone believe Chromia was going to be offered during the competition.
Instead the decide to charge more than any other character.

I aleady have every character except Chromia. And in 24 hours the last character will be level 15. And since I have been playing for more than 2 years every character is maxed out on accessories. I am sure I am not the only on to look at this and start fuming.

400 Gems
1000 Sparks
2000 Tokens

So they have to claw back their money from somewhere and now we know from where £40.00 for a new Bot, now I would think like everybody else that the Tokens are not needed by me as I’ve got nearly 3000 in the bank and I can only use them for coins but as I’ve got to many already then a waste of money. I got no idea if there are add-ons for the new Bot or what they cost.
If Rovio want us to carry on playing they need to drop the price big time and make the sparks in events not a 1 time offer like they are now. No way am I paying £40 for something that really is not needed.

@paul13 I really wanted them to make that feature where tokens would carry over or at least offer gems in the token exchange in each event. Then I could use my remaining 2K tokens on something other than those useless coins. But no, coins for everyone.

I agree~what are they thinking?? I have toooo many useless coins also..why not use about 15 mil worth of those to purchase something, oh I don’t know.. let’s say something USEFUL. Still not sure whether to continue this challenge, What’s in it for me in the end? Frustrating when you own everything else and have to jump thru fire to gain a single character.

Well they are not going to allow us to buy Sparks or Gems on a rolling basis only coins and that is where they fall flat on their faces as anytime they say ” To make the game more enjoyable and even things out ” it is a bare faced lie.

The Price of £40.00 for a Bot is pathetic and they know it and will do nothing about it.
It would be nice to learn that nobody will buy it and give them a slap in the face but alas I expect its already been bought by customers.

@paul13 Can’t argue with that one. If they allowed the rolling option for sparks, I could have maxed out at least 10 bots by now. Heck even a one time, gem purchase would have been fine. Seriously, Rovio needs to get their act together.

Ok guys, That was my question. Am I right that spending money it the only way to get the new character… Sorry 19,95 would have been ok but 49,99 NO WAY… Sorry getting new characters is nice but what about new landscapes etc…

@webflyer Chromia will be available in the future. So far all characters being offered for real money have been offered for tokens as well.

It took a year to get a shot at buying Nemesis with tokens, but it did happen. I hope to get Deadend and Chromia by summer

Rovio never lost their mind. They are brilliant. The $50 pricetag was a trick. They make us all mad about the price, and then they lower the price. The lower price made it seem like a much better deal to many people. It worked, and many people are buying her.

I honestly think that if they had started with the $30 usd price tag, fewer people would have bought her.

I am still hoping that the marketing geniuses running this process still haven’t figured out all the bugs and a special bot might pop in for a few hours near the end of the token exchange… again…

I spent all my tokens and then saw dead end appear, was not happy as he was not there for the whole event!

@ed209 Deadend? That’s not one of those reveal bug things after purchasing every item (bar coins) in token exchange and then gives you new items/characters? That is annoying. Happened to me once before.
