These are the two strongest classes for RED, which one is better?
Samurai
PROS
-does most attack damage
-good defense
-115 snoutlings
-does 3 small attacks so it works on ninjas
-also there is a higher chance to do their weapon abilities like stun
CONS
-doesn’t work well on knights
-shield only lasts one turn
Paladian
PROS
-heals weakest Bird after attack
-protects Bird/s in a way that they won’t get damaged
-looks awesome!
-does a lot of damage
CONS
-costs LUCKY coins
-protection doesn’t really work on multiple Bird damage pigs -

burbman@burbman
Given the choice, I pick Paladin every time unless fighting ninja or Prince Porky.
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaK, I pick Samuari because I don’t have padilan but yesterday i tried it out and it was ok
Maxx_Matt@maxxmattI’m with @burbman on this issue. Actually playing cave 20, I regret a lot the high mastery difference between my Samurai mastery level M40 vs. Paladin Elite M52. These game situations, as referred before, are nuts for Samurai multiple attacks vs. Pigs dodge defences.
Paladin, (aside from facing hordes of Ninjas), is possibly the most versatile and self-surviving class when compared to other ones. You can just pick it up and play the game (well equipped) alone.
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaOk, I don’t have LUCKY coins so I can’t buy it :/
Nightcrawler@sam-spargo@epicpizza save your lucky coins for paladin
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaIll try, but I’m too focused in the GPM now
Gabee1611@gabe-nestorPaladin
With him, I don’t have to worry about bringing Matilda as a healer and can just use Lightning bird, Sea Dog and Paladin for multi wave battles. For single wave battles, I use lightning bird, sea dog and skulkers.
burbman@burbman@epicpizza – You say you are focused on the GPM – Please tell me that your birds are already at max experience. If not, you are wasting your LC on items that will be obsolete in short order.
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaI’m at level 65 and my sets are starting to get weak
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaThe only LUCKY coin class I own is Stone Guard and Frost Savage and those were from events
burbman@burbmanIt should not take long to get from level 65 to current max level 80. Hold off on spending LC on the GPM until you get there. Go ahead and take the free spins, just do not pay for any until you get there.
I know that several of the players here made it from 70 to 80 in a matter of an hour or so yesterday. I am currently at level 77, and I have only completed the first of the two new caves. Use any experience potions you have on the new levels, and you will be max XP in no time.
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaK, bad news IM ON AMAZON AND ITS NOT UPDATING
burbman@burbmanOK, then get yourself to XP70 before the update hits. I feel your pain on this, I would love to play on my Kindle Fire instead of my iPhone, but slow to release updates are a real bother.
Do you have any other devices that you could play on with the update in the meantime? Rovio account will let you transfer your current game to a different device.
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaNo :( ,have to wait!
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaBy all the Facebook friends I made, I will finish the caves the day ABE updates on Amazon
And make it to level 80TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaSo far
4 paladin
1 samuraiPointless@pointless@epicpizza your own vote was Samurai…
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaLol ???
datguygamer@datguygamerSamurai for me all the way. Even though Paladin heals, I always take Matilda with me so, healing is a non-issue for me.
I like to hit hard and Samurai is the hardest hitter among Red’s classes.
Coach MP@coachmpI know I’ll be banned for this radical comment, but I’d take gaurdian over both. Sorry, i know right? Guardian’s protect covers all 3 birds, by 25% for 3 turns. His hit lowers the attackers damage by 25%. So you hit the biggest guy, now you’re cover by 50% damage. And it last for 3 turns!
All that being said, I leave red out of the majority of my battles. Mainly due to unlucky gpm rolls. Red doesn’t have a good set item. Blues, chuck, and bomb do. So I use what i’ve been given and borrow maxed paladins for the dungeons.
TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaIt’s ok
RedYoshi45@smwforever45For ninja battles, Samurai.
For any other battle, Paladin all the way! I was always forced to take Matilda with me before I had him, but now I can take a stronger fighter instead while Paladin heals everyone.TheGoldenBird@epicpizzaI tested Padalin even more, it was a great class and It was a close second to my favorite Red class Samurai
Pointless@pointless@epicpizza I use both with regularity, but Paladin far more. Some of this is due to the symbiotic relationship this Class has with my beloved SeaDog, but the healing as a tertiary effect (i.e. not as a primary result of a spent turn (Matilda) or its secondary subsidiary duration (Spies)) gives Paladin an edge over Samurai for me in most cases.
pixelyzed@pixelyzedI used to be Paladin all the way, always. Now I use Samurai 75% of the time. Multiple hits with DragonBreath’s collateral damage is pretty sweet everywhere.
