The best gear – better bird debate

I’ve been.. Trying so hard to get down to lower then 500 (maybe.. Someday #1!) in the ranking system.

I have come to the conclusion that its ‘inhumanly’ possible to be done by yourself or have a life period. (Think about it. Every hour you get 7 turns. Average game is nearly a minute if doing the tokens, etc. Time crunching.)

Moving beyond this:

The better bird and the gear.

Right now I’m running constant winning streaks when I play red.

That was my previous gear before getting the golden dragon wings. Which have a superior defense compared to that tall hat when you fight a bird without a streak.

The streak weapons are certainly mischievous weapons. Those games you have to be incredibly lucky in panel appearance rates or its doom.

– Imo- this is currently one of the better combo gears to use. Unless you got that golden strawberry shortcake hat.

I do have big ben, shuriken, dragon rod and 4 star s feature stick.

Those glasses are pretty op. (High health. Luckier panel rate. Sometimes?) A similar item im not happy about of its accessibility is the hour glass. Its nearly matching in health and panel rate increase to these ss glasses. (Glasses come from slot only.)

Oh great, the “best” debate. It’s like asking, should I play using a mage or using a warrior?

It’s a difficult debate without any actual stats.

It’s like the debate on who will win: Thanos vs Darkseid vs Doomsday vs Apocalypse.

Although red is a monster with this gear set up:

Shuriken 370 atk (ss)
Golden dragon wings 335 def (ss)
Rockstar glasses 160 health (IPR)
Optional:
Big ben 382 atk (streak atk)

Depending how keen you are to matching, the moment the board gets you one special or frenzy, pretty much spells doom for whomever player.

I’ve been switching out for the
Bearskin hat+ 326
, its a real gamble to not encounter someone with a streak.

If you play any other character, imo, it’s purely to grief other players to not enjoying the match from their dehabilitating moves. Like, matilda, blues, bomb.

My other characters have seemingly same set up. Its better to have the increased panel rate then it is to have any other modifiers.

The random angry panels is rare ti be useful with any items (no health or having a def placement). Atleast with attack there is some save face.

It seems with the dr pig lab items imo have no place in the bird arena. (When you got the same defense as matilda or bomb and simply lose because of their high health.)

On matilda, got the
Kabuki war paint+ 252 health
With a decent weapon like the peacock fan 287 atk (not sure whats the max)
I currently have:
Cleopatra’s stick 332 atk
Christmas glasses 166 health (IPR)
Samba hat 310 def (streak def)
Or
Precious wig+ 303 def

Once I get the aqua pig award weapon.. I think i’ll just start griefing players with playing as matilda only.

Its like, I have all this great gear on every bird except stella. Kind of lacking with her current accessory. Otherwise, i’d love to wax players with her too.

Chinese fan 326 atk (streak atk)
Golden sea star hat+ 336 def
Parfume 120 def (IPR) (which is a terrible stat for it to be defense. Sigh)

Again, I don’t think the streak weapons are worth using cause the risk of running into players with streaks is seemingly low. Thus the factor of luck plays out then skill.

Although i’m perplexed how you can be fighting another bird, activate a few fevers, specials in a round. Yet the other player never gets a special on you and still has higher atk/def. Thus crushing you.

If this game was about matching gear to skill or based upon wins to judge difficulty of that player.

If you want this game to be a challenge, play as matilda, stella, or bomb.

With the right gear, blues, red,chuck can be downright gruesome with streak gear.

My highest streak was 26 wins on big ben, bearskin hat, and rockstar glasses. I switched out to use blues,bomb cause I just got their ultimate IPR accessory.

I don’t see the merit in having fever+ or bonus+. Unless you can get atleast one fever every game, ok stat. Bonus+ seems like a waste of a stat. Good for ship, terrible for bird fight.

Its too bad we can’t use our ships to fight other players.

Even cch runs the bearskin hat, rockstar glasses and shuriken set up. (Rank #1)

Other great gear set up- which you know is theme. Every bird should have their IPR accessory as a given.

Few exceptions: (items w/o mods)
Golden ghost pig for chuck (arena) which is a high health stat no mods.
The golden scorpion tail 421 atk also a chuck weapon.
Golden dragon ears 335 def no mods, for red.
Any others you can think of, add.

If your weak, you’ll play the warrior.

Every game makes the warrior class have way more advantages then any other class. (The stereotypical stat/atk/whoa factor.)

This game is defined by gear then it by ‘class’.

Best bird is red. Period. Greatest special gives him on activation between 75-100+ attack on a single special. Plus, cascades the whole board to activate other bird specials.

Great atk, modest health, modest defense. Its not uncommon to break 1600+ atk on red for me. With shuriken alone.

My best birds are Blues. Blues use Rare Strawberry Fondue, Panda Hat and Gingerbread House. I don’t have Poker Cards either. The combination between skills is very effective, but it would be better with Poker Cards, even if they lose health. But Blues are all about attack, HP wouldn’t do jack.
