Yup. Looks like the start is going to be Sunday February 7 @ 7pm EST / Monday February 8 @ midnight GMT.

And confirmed, the big unlock is Epic Optimus Prime!

Well I HAVE to win Epic Optimus even if it matters waking up the whole night. I am NOT giving up on this one like Shockwave (even though I hate this method). Also, can anyone who has Shockwave clarify this for me? When you unlocked Shockwave, were the accessories that came with him also in the list to buy tokens or were there other rewards?

Yes once you unlocked Shockwave his three accessories were added to the token exchange.

In addition, there were hat accessories for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Soundwave, three coin prizes, and three gem prizes to be unlocked.

@starscream Thanks! Btw, how many premium accessories does Shockwave have (not those hats and sunglasses and all that)? Do you have pictures of them by any chance?

There are three: the medallion (breastplate), Sentinel (shoulder puppet), and wings (backpack). Right now I can’t upload the screenshot from my phone, though – the site claims it’s not .jpg, even though it actually is.

I was lucky on that comp and I ignored anything else until I got him. IMHO he’s not that special as his reload time is a lot longer than the both Galvatron’s, well I’m only level 13 with the 3 so maybe better at L 15.

I had the icon for the Chinese New Year theme a couple of hours and now it is gone again anyone did notice the same?

@zhianjo Same here on iOS. When I restart the game countdown shows and icon CNYT and then, after running the wheely-update that you see when the challenge-window refreshes, it’s gone. Hope it will be fixed when real challenge begins!

I think EOP will cost about 5000 tokens (or at least I hope). Too high a price is problematic

@datguygamer Gosh, I hope so. It isn’t easy to earn that much tokens without spending at least a gem or money (I refuse to spend money on gems) in this game. It’s just too stressful to play this competition for characters as they’re limited and a little slacking off from the competition can bring your rank down, thus ending up with lame amount of tokens.
