What happened to the spells?

The spells used to be the same rank as you lowest rank bird. My lowest rank bird is master bronze, so my spells all used to be master bronze. Now they are all rank 1. And mostly useless. Any one else seeing this? I just bought all the wigs and upgraded my slingshot to diamond, and that’s when the spells got degraded.

Yes, I see that now. It’s weird how it has affected random people, and at random times. For me, it was immediately after buying a full set of wigs and upgrading my slingshot to diamond.

It’s also curious how the arena has gotten ridiculously hard at random times. I just had an opponent with a flock power slightly less than mine put up 18 million to my 7, and a similar thing happened last night.
