… And it’s just an extra special slap in the face to hear people talking about how rich the Christmas bonuses were in the beginning compared to how stingy they are at the end, even on the non-bug days. Usually games have progressively increasing rewards on events like this.

Why in the world do you require a network connection to download ad content in the background and then not notify players of updates with major bonus events?

@gradientturtle7 is there any chance the competition can be extended for a few days to make it up to all the players who got Grinched by these bugs, and especially for iOS players who do not automatically get updates pushed to them and may not realize that there are issues being addressed?

(I will admit that I have selfish motives here : I play this game multiple times a day and did not even realize that there was an update with a Christmas bonus until it was almost over. Other games I play have in-app notifications of updates, but not this one.)

The “Current Challenge” box says that there is a new challenge coming in 11 hours but I thought today was the last day of the event — is that just misleading or does the event run past the 24th?

Half the people in my challenge group played their first node (or more!) and got zero score; I made it into the top ten with zero.
