With regards to 5000 coins vs. 10 gems as the daily reward. The main post states that it may rotate, or be random. It’s random… that is, it does not seem to alternate/rotate on a repeating cycle. And the probabilities each day of getting one or the other may NOT be 50/50.

My own experience is, I don’t think it is 50/50. 67% coins / 33% gems, seems closer in my opinion. But we would need to collect a lot of data to determine with some degree of “statistical confidence” what the probabilities are.

For phase 2, I now use StarScream with the accessory that gives him explosive rounds. He can destroy EVERYTHING. With him I am back to letting my first bot die on the first gap, so everything remains neatly stacked and easier to destroy.

There are a couple of other bots to choose from, that also have explosive rounds. But “explosive” is the key. Incendiary and Acid are not nearly as effective.

P.S. I was using Optimus Prime on phase 1 since his vehicle is so reliable on the jumps.

Over at ABTDP we have also speculated about computer players. Then we made a huge list of each other’s in-game-competition names, and some of us recognized each other on our lists. Even with a zillion players, we found a few hits.

For the next comp we are going to try to time our “competition entry” for a time or two. Then we should see more of each other. The negative is, we will be competing against each other. But it will verify the above.

It’s not like we have any control over it anyways. It just “is”. I would rather be in a group of bots (which it is not) or strangers, so if I win, there’ll be no hard feelings among friends. LOL.

If you achieve all daily challenges (550 tokens) and win first place (1000 tokens) and do so every day for all 8 days, you can get a maximum of 12400 tokens.

6000 = Epic OP
4000 = 2 ‘normal’ EOP accessories
1000 = CNY hat for EOP
3000 = all 3 CNY dragon hats
1000 = one last CNY hat

This adds up to 15000 total ?!

In addition, the experiences over at ABTDP are that, to achieve the above takes about 600 gems per day unless you live on a very rigorous schedule (waking up half way through the night, etc). That’s approximately 4800 gems. A bit less if you stop at 10000 tokens needed for just EOP and the 2 normal accessories.

And gems cost, at best, a little less than $0.01/gem, making the cost over $40.

Unfortunately the only way to have an automatic “cloud save” of your game is to connect it via Facebook. You might consider using a FB account that does not have your private information in it.

Of course there are other ways to create your own back-up (AirDroid, Helium, etc).

Definitely, you should figure out something that “works for you” !

– Big update to Accessories. They now all are named and indicate exactly what boost each one gives your bot. Acid rounds, explosive rounds, incendiary rounds, increased fire rate, etc. etc. Very expensive though. Estimate it would take ~40,000 gems to max all 32 bots.

– The bug where your friends’ bots were almost always Optimus Prime and/or Bumblebee *appears* to have been fixed!

– NewsFeed (tap lower left arrow, then tap upper button – the envelope)

– Thank You Rewards from friend activity *appears* to have been updated. The counter maxes at 512. Collecting clears the counter to zero. No backlog & no delay in time-stamp of latest reward. Please comment below if you agree?

– In barracks, the 33rd Bot has been added and its silhouette matches the 2nd one from the squad “Iconic Transformers”. You get a preview of this bot (level 1) in Jenga mode, but it does NOT unlock him.

– Significant update to JENGA. Daily challenges that reward coins or gems. Ability to choose your “team” but the bots that cause wide-spread damage are not there (Shockwave variants, Sentinel Prime/Heatwave, Grimlock variants). Rodimus Prime, who is available, is pretty good though.

– As mentioned by Rovio, the difficulty has been “rebalanced”. Reports are rolling in about which items are now harder (easier?) to kill/destroy. Balloon Pigs seem to be the new bosses.

Once you max out your bots and have tens of millions of coins, then working on your pig-kills might interest you. That and farming the lab daily.

@datguygamer Umm, that’s not it.

– You don’t have to already have killed any pigs.
– You charge it with Energon you collect by shooting ‘converted’ items in the environment. This is just like any of the energonicons. As usual there are 3 levels of charge.
– The pigs fired do not deduct from pigs killed. They ADD to # of pigs killed.

With PiggyBlast on the right node, some of our members have gotten 140 pigs, which after a doubling video gave 280!

@partshade — Great guide! I need to study it more as I have only just started PVP.

I would like to suggest update the main (first) post with the best suggestions from all the comments. And continue to keep it updated with the new banner and weapon sets too. That keeps the main post the go-to place without having to comb through several dozen replies.

Another suggestion to help noobs like me find there way around: Each time you specify a class, write the name of the bird too, like Red/Paladin, Chuck/Wizard, or Blues/Marksmen.

@datguygamer In the sticky post about Energonicons, at the bottom of it, there are some pointers for lab farming. The gem levels are reduced now, to 40% of there former levels, so it is not very lucrative anymore.
