Uninstalled/reinstalled again, but it still didn’t resolve it. I’ve completely stopped playing until it gets fixed. It’s just too frustrating.

Uninstalled, re-installed, still getting booted. Stopped doing Spark runs last week when I got to the very end (Astrotrain was overhead), and it crashed. Lost all the sparks and the time I spent on that run. Ugggg!!

The game also crashed last night and this morning in the middle of a Jawbreaker run.

I’m not wasting my time on another spark run, nor will I buy the Season 4 pass, until the problem resolved.

I’m still not getting 4x bonus for Leader Squad. Possibly because I’m on Kindle and they still haven’t upgraded to the latest version? Anyone else having this issue?

Is anyone else here on Kindle? I haven’t experienced any of the bugs you all have mentioned, but I’m also still on version 2.5.0 (released August 30, 2020). The Amazon App store doesn’t show that there’s another update after that.

I’m guessing that means I may lose the ability to participate in the challenge this week. Or at a minimum, come this Sunday if Season 4 begins, I won’t have access to it.

I think this deserves a flare to @Exientgreg. Is this intentional, or a bug? Appreciate any insight you can give us.

But I do have a red crown (soon to be green crown) lvl 14 Slipstream that I want to overpower… so we’ll see how this week goes.

I also do not have an offer for Flamewar. Should be interesting to see if she does eventually get offered to me or if I’ll be required to unlock her with tokens. I have a lvl 13 red crown slipstream, so I should be okay with gathering tokens, but I was planning to upgrade her to lvl 14 this week and then collect enough coins (and use gems to supplement if needed) to overpower… which at this point is still the plan.

I passed up Volcanicus for 750 in the last event, but I still have the offer for him… still at 750 gems. He just seems so weak that I wanted to save my gems for something more worthy.

I thought about opening gold crates but instead opted to upgrade Capt Starscream from Lvl 13 – Lvl 15 using tokens. Opening crates makes me nervous so I don’t think I’m going to do it unless there’s literally nothing else I want to buy in the exchange.

It’s just too much of a gamble :-(

It depends on how badly you want the bird. I agree with deindiaan that it’s highly unlikely that you’ll get it in gold crates, so don’t count on it. If you want it just so you have a bot from the squad, then go for it. I’m going to wait until another member is introduced and go from there.

Personally, I don’t think this bot is worth spending any tokens or gems, but I guess it depends on why you want it.

I just hit 8000 tokens this morning, and that was with several replays. The only reason I was willing to replay is that I wanted to over-power Devastator from lvl 15 to lvl 16.

It cost me about 160 gems in replays, but I figure I’ll make those up by doing better (hopefully placing higher) in Challenge Run from now on… so it was worth it.

Having said that, I agree that this was an incredibly low-scoring week! In order to get to 8000 tokens, there were two days where I came in first place for the day(so 2000 of the 8000 tokens right there), and for the remaining days, I placed anywhere between second thru sixth place (additional 500-300 tokens per day).

I’ve had Volcanicus as a Buddy on a few runs and I’ll likely pass on him unless I get lucky with a gold crate. On another note, I’ve collected 5 new characters over the last 2 months, so I’ll focus on upgrading them (and some others) while waiting for the next release of new characters.

@moifirst I’m starting to suspect that the offering price for characters is related to whether or not your ABT account is connected to Facebook.

It could just be a coincidence, but all of my new character offers have been 750 gems each… EXCEPT for the Conehead event. That offering was 5000 gems each. It wasn’t until near the end of the event that I realized my ABT account had somehow disconnected from my FB. I reestablished the connection by going into ABT ‘Settings’ and logging in again. It didn’t do anything to change the price of characters for the conehead event, but this week my new character offering is back to 750 gems.

I could be totally off base here, it might be worth connecting your ABT account to FB and seeing if your new character offering prices go down next week.

@grimlockdown  I just tried Eberbot again. So THAT’S what it does. I’ve tried it a few times before and couldn’t figure out what it did. I think that I expected it to decrease the enemy’s energy so that they couldn’t fire at me. Since that wasn’t happening, I completely missed what it actually did.

So it’s similar to Reflectron, but it gives health to me instead of damage to the enemy. Sa-weet!!!

Good news!! My Kindle is updated to the newest version. I sent a message to Customer Service last night, and when I checked just now, it was all good. Yay!!! Barbie happy :-)

Why would they refuse to send it to Amazon? That makes no sense…

I keep everything synced to the cloud, so I downloaded ABT onto my cell phone from the Google Play Store in the hopes that the update for Kindle would come out soon and I could switch back to that. The cell phone workaround was supposed to be temporary (this week only) not a long-term solution.

If they’re not going to update Kindle, then I’m probably going to be done playing. I’m not going to play this long-term on my cell phone. That’s too bad, coz I would have bought the Prime Pass… but only if I can play on Kindle.

I’m not able to play the new challenge. My app hasn’t updated and it’s not allowing me to do a manual update. I even uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but it won’t update. I’m stuck at 2.3XXXX

Of course, the one squad that I haven’t bothered to update past level 8, because… why?

I guess that I can always rotate them out and get at least one bot updated to level 10. That should help a bit. Between OP, Bumble Bee, and Heatwave, which one would you upgrade? I don’t have Ratchet.

I ended up unlocking Dirge. It took a lot of re-runs, but I figured that if I was willing to spend 750 gems to unlock one of them outright (which I was), then I may as well be willing to spend that much in reruns in order to earn 10,000 tokens. It was close, but at challenge-end last night I was at 10100 tokens (should have been at 10350 tokens, but that’s another story….)

Ramjet does seem to be more powerful, but seeing Dirge’s big booms and watching stuff go up in flames when he throws his TNT boxes makes me happy :-)

So interesting how everyone gets different offers. My offer was for Ramjet only (why was I not offered either of the other two???) with cone accessory and 101,010 sparks… for 5000 gems. I’ll pass as well.

If they had offered one for 750 gems (which has always been my price for new bots)… or even all of them for 750 each… I would have bought more gems and then used the gems to get them. But at 5000 gems for one they get nothing. NOTHING!!

Greed will get you nowhere….
