Angry Turd,
Thanks for the suggestion. It was the first thing I tried (and have tried several times now) many weeks ago. Removing the application from Facebook (which also indicates the data will be removed) doesn’t reset the data on Rovio’s servers apparently. After each attempt (sometimes even waiting several days before trying) restarting Angry Birds 2 from a fresh install and linking it to Facebook results in:
– Successful connection to my Facebook Account
– Immediate ban
– Synchronization of the game state (Spells, FP, Hats, Map Level #, Player Name, etc…)
So that option doesn’t actually work. This is what led me to contacting Rovio (or should I say what led me to making several attempts to contact Rovio).
Yue has a good suggestion, creating an independent FB Facebook account, but I’d rather just sync to the one. Yue, if you can provide me the way i can submit a ticket, I will try this. Nowhere have I found an interface for being able to submit a ticket.
Kathy,
That’s not the resolution, but thank you for your response.
The irony here is… I exploit the game as much or more than anyone else, yet I am not banned. Why? Well that is a simple answer. Because part of the cheat detection / banning process is whether or not and how much has the exploiting player paid into the game.
So the banning is not a zero tolerance policy. I am proof.
Here is the obvious truth and reality: Any player that is currently at a max flock power of 658 is an exploiter of poor coding and design of the game. No “cheat detection” needed. Simple as that.
The only way possible for any player to max their cards after the latest card update would have been to open hundreds of thousands worth of legendary cheats. And we all know how that works via the multi device reinstall / reconnect. But as long as you are paying something, Rovi o is ok with that. Isn’t that right Hank?
This from a paying “cheater”.
