I came back to Angry Birds Forums to say this;

I’ll miss this damn game.

So many years, been playing since release.
Ever since they (evidently) stopped caring about it, I too stopped. ESPECIALLY when it became clear that monetary gain was what they were after – subtly increasing the price, more pay to win areas, and so on.

When they began to knock other games from the shelves without a word, I grew fearful. I knew this day would come, but still so silently… it pains me.

A piece of my childhood I’ll never be able to play again… removed… due to corporate shilling. It’s ironic, isn’t it? Rovio made games like these because they wanted to have fun, show their playerbase that they can add their twist on beloved genres whilst still profiting from it (back then, it was more of a tip since Lucky Coins were not THAT sought after)

Then when the updates began to drop in quantity (and quality)… yeah…
The day of Epic’s end is evidently nigh. 7 whole years and it’s coming to an end so quickly.

Not able to play Into The Jungle anymore, the first map event, to cap things off. No more For The Pirate King either. None of that.

A silent, merciful death, for a heavily beloved game.

I’ll miss you, Angry Birds Epic. You will always be Epic to all.

I got an update for the game around 3 hours ago… am I the only one?

And now 3.0.1 is out with yet ANOTHER Chronicle Cave!
Apparently the chest in the stage has an Ancient Set Item, and the boss chest has 50 LC’s in it. And, uh… “Snor” is powerful.

Update:
I’m on cave 25’s boss, and it has over 1 million HP.
Oh, and it has a very strong attack that can inflict ANY NEGATIVE STATUS EFFECT IN THE WHOLE GAME against your birds.
“Duel of Honour” passive is active, so you cannot Mighty Eagle your way through.
Finally, the boss can summon any enemy in the game to his aid.

They probably will reiterate the chances to unlock them again, just so we can complete the collection.
For Halloween, I got the Scarecrow SKulkers and Haunted Rainbird, with no respins which is lucky.

Although, the Haunted Rainbird does not do as said.
The passive ability claims it will ignore damage that will deplete over 80% of health. However, if the Rainbird does take more than 80% of his health, then it will just take damage up to 80% making it a false-advertised product.
But I hope that gets fixed in the future, before I just go back to the Elite Rainbird and raise a complaint (via the power of a ticket.)

However, I’m leaning towards the Christmas Bard and the Christmas Spies. Those two peak my interest, as well as the Elite Seadog being another good upgrade to look towards.

I’m aiming for Christmas Bard, to be honest. The idea of the passive ability making use of the Bard’s main attack is ideal.

Meh, I think everyone was expecting a new level cap at this time.
And that pirate boss reminds of a boss all the way back at the stage just after the Samurai and Druid shop..

Just had a match where my Team Power defeated the opponent’s by 300-400.
I lost, because their Mythic Chrono activated every turn. One turn, their Red went 3 times, Chuck went 3 times, Blues went twice.
And they say they’ve improved the Arena? Add options for difficulty, please.

Anyone else noticed that in the Sneak Peak we were shown the cap increase, but we still haven’t gotten it?

You have to have another bird altogether to have the different super evolution.

Also, I’d pick Huge explosion for Dutch. Not as strong, but you can get more hits this way.

For the Angry Birds 2 question,
I’ve found out that to get 10 stars, your score must be double your opponent’s score.
But for the ABEv arena.. then yeah, those pigs somehow live on, and I feel that sometimes I take that extra bit of damage even though I’m normally the winning player against all players I fight against.

I only have 2 Legacies left to nick and a few Elites left. I mean, the Kraken gave me the Elite Samurai.
I only have Ronin, Moon Priestess, Elite Avenger, Elite Princess and Elite Spies left to grab.

Basically, the Legacy upgrades just make the value of the Elite Chest less.
Though for the Jungle campaign event, it says for a Premium chest.. I already have all the classes?

I got the Elite Samurai.
Well, I only now need the Ronin, Moon Priestess, Elite Princess, Elite Spies and the Elite Avenger to complete all upgrades.

Well, I only need 2 legacy classes and then I’m done: Ronin and Moon Priestess.
Then there’s also the Elite Avenger, Elite Samurai, Elite Spies, and the Elite Princess.

However, Matilda is definitely something worth your interest. Her first two evolutions are just about upgrading powerups, but her final evolutions are worth your interest, I guarantee you.
One is about a flaming path, and the other is about pull enemies towards the centre.

The frame isn’t too much different too. As most people know now: Rovio only wants money and not a community.

If you give a bird an XP totem and then feed the shiny bird into another, it gives double XP.

Rovio did admit since 2.1.0 I believe that you need to re-install the game to fix it. Only do so if you have a Rovio Account.

So basically the sports tournament is a way of Rovio, as always, to repeat events as they have no solid creativity in changing up the design of how the campaign flows. Nice.
