After I updated and started Epic and noticed the difference I went through all the settings. Tried changing the screen resolution and everything. Under the Display settings it says that the games is optimized to run Full Screen. Yet everything is cut off.

So I have been playing several different lvls for stars so I can lvl up to max again. Anyone else noticed it looks like pigs aren’t dropping any stars and when I hold on what lvl I am to see how many stars I need until next it doesn’t show anymore.

For me I haven’t had any issues with this update. I think its actually really nice. If only these programmers can teach something to the programmers of angry birds transformers that would be nice.

Also if you do an intercept with egg bot, swap out a character on a node, and gold dome costs gems. The intercept egg bot depends on how much time is remaining on the timer, the swap a character is 1 gem and gold domes are 10 gems.

While that sounds cool, wish they didn’t call it a patch. I feel a patch is where you fix something not add something new and break it. LOL which they do more often than not.

I’m wondering now that max lvl is 70 is the max mastery also 70 or if they screwed up like before and its 71? I have a ways to go, only at lvl 68 and barley ranked my wizard to 62.

“Good news part deux! Energon Galvatron and Energon Soundwave will have there damage levels returned. Galvatron was halved and Energon Soundwave was even more! All better in December or the next live update. Again, sorry.” It seems its better to be contact someone directly who actually makes the game vs Rovio who has nothing with programming the game and just distributing it. Which might explain some of the silly responses we all get when we send a ticket to there customer support.

More challenging battles is right. Before update the update I was fighting against people who were between 2400 and 2700 power lvls not I am up against between 2900 and 3200 and I am at 2800 something. Its ridicules and hard to stay in top 3 now with out needing to spend LCs to recharge.

I feel your frustration @jewlsdeluxe This is day 2 I completed all arena objectives for both days and as of right now 1st place for me is 23,560 2nd 23,100 3rd 20,350 4th 19,925 and me at 5th 19,860. Well back to fighting and grinding to 3rd at least.

“Hello I updated Angry Birds Epic to the new version and played a lvl with 2 birds that had Rank 15 before and with the new Mastery Rank 60. Well after playing they both ranked to 61 and dropped in both attack and health and now are weaker than birds with lower mastery. Is there supposed to be rank 61? Please fix. I am not the only person that has these issues.”

What’s New In Version 1.5.3? Why Did My Mastery Levels Change?
With the update 1.5.3, we have made some considerable changes to Angry Birds Epic. Check below what exactly has been changed!

Player XP Progression

The difficulty of the entire game has been adjusted and should now match a lot better to the player strength. This means that when you play an event or a world map battle for the first time, the pigs are always on your current level. If you replay an old stage, the pigs are still on the level you were on when you played the stage for the first time. Winning a battle for the first time grants you bonus XP. The birds have become overall a bit weaker compared to 1.5.2, but so have the pigs.

Class Mastery Gain

Mastery is now capped at the player level, so it can reach level 60. Old mastery levels (1-15) are converted by multiplying the level by 4, then adding another level for every 25% of mastery progress reached. If you have a class on a higher mastery level than player level (caused by this conversion), you won’t collect mastery for that class until the player level catches up. Lower level classes get a bonus on this conversion that equals 50% of the XP they need to reach the highest mastery level any class of this bird has. New mastery gives only 2% bonus per level, making it a bit weaker overall. Newly unlocked classes are set to the average level of all classes of the bird.

Friendship Essence

You can now collect a maximum of 5 friendship essences per day from friends playing with your birds. The number of available essence is visible in the messages when a friend has played with one of your birds. Together with requested friendship essence, every player can get a maximum of 10 essences per day.

I’m with @angryde WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had my Elite Paladin at Rank 15 before update and 1600 something attack. With update I played a lvl with a golden pig in it and it said I ranked up from 60 to 61 now My Elite Paladin has 553 attack and whats worse is my Elite Knight which is at rank 54 has better attack at 1150. WHAT GIVES ROVIO WTF MAN. I just went to the arena and someone with an Elite Paladin is Lvl 58 rank 54 and his has Deals 1611 damage and has a health of 6043 mine Deals 746 Damage and has a Health of 2799. Oh and my Wizard ranked from 60 to 61 and dropped in health and attack also.

I just thought of another daily challenge / quest they could add. Collect an x amount of coins from the lab. Reward gems.

I bought gems since they were on sale. Was able to use tokens to unlock 2 transformers and had to buy tokens with gems for the 3rd. Didn’t get the accessories in hopes they will offer them again and I don’t have to use more gems. Spent way more in this competition than all other previous ones.

About the only thing I really like in this competition is the fact the transformers are at full health each time you go to play.

There must have been a soft update like they do in Angrybirds Transformers. I just played all castles and all gave 6 snoutlings. Really annoying.

Well I had this Win 3 arena battles and knock out 3 birds during your turn objective again. This time I was able to complete it. I was able to knock out all three birds in 1 turn and won the match and it counted. There must have been a bug before since it didn’t work when I first got it.

Who knows? Nemesis Prime was offered for real money last year during Halloween, and Rodimus was also offered for real money last year during Thanksgiving. Maybe they will re-offer them again around the same time this year.

Can you tell us if they are going to re-offer those two characters again? Also I have a suggestion, while having events to obtain new characters is trying to make things more fun you guys should offer all the characters permanently from events in the gem shop. After the event is over that is. That way if for some reason a person didn’t get enough tokens or maybe just a new player who’s trying to just get all the characters they can. I believe you guys might do better if that were so.

I just updated and reconnected to facebook. Playing a level now and so far no crashing. Yay can get friendship essence again.

Update I played all through Kings pig castle while connected to facebook. No crashing. Don’t know about watching videos yet. Closed out epic and relaunched and didn’t loose xp.
