Well I got burned, hadn’t done the update

Bought Stronghold for 500 gems few days ago

I went to do daily today and the nuisance tasks I zip through.

Opened 10 steel crates and without thinking clicked an unknown popup

What was that? some number in the hundreds/thousands

No way I opened a gold crate,   definitely not a 10pk

At that point I realized I now had only 8000 coin,  so I essentially traded gems to cover the difference for a steel crate

But I had tens of millions of coins, absurd coin counts…

So if i bought the difference,  how do I have now have 8000 coin and not zero after the trade. I have no idea the trade ratio, maybe I bought more than the balance.

Upgraded version,  still 8000 coin.

At a loss… I haven’t been watching coin counts because it was so high,   10 steel crates/day made zero dent.

And like that I’m essentially at zero, if I needed something to nail the coffin,  we’re there

Started off strong with a high average, no concerns to reach 10k, then came work week, no excess time like a weekend offers, average shrunk dramatically, and ended with 10130. Way too much time spent, absurd time where there’s no challenge to the challenge, just a grind as if working in a salt mine. Can’t say there was any enjoyment trying to reach the goal.

In short, dead of fun. :/

Yep, my token exchange says a giant zero, where should have at least couple hundred? Definitely not the 1200 I see from main page.

Not sure how this happened, but after my very first run (score maybe 1100 after 105% bonus) noticed I had 900ish tokens.

Meh, nothing of need in the event cept more sparks anyways. Back to back boring events with nothing really to cash in on, I’ll take em and get out sooner.

The lunacy of the spark run is more so evident to me after tonight.

Last night 185% bonus at level 11 for 200 sparks, barely collected enough for full 200 with just UM all the way losing zero health and wiping the map clean.

Tonight step one up to level 12 for 210 sparks, clean the map again with UM all the way, I get 168 sparks.

I have it up to level 20 but stepped back to measure where the best payoff was. I could never seem to get 200 anywhere and benchmarking that many levels back revealed how absurd this is.

Where’s the fun in that.

Mine stopped at 41k about 12hrs ago, now seems to be adding back up from 0 each run with the 41k position idle.

Not to mention was in a healthy 1st place standing and now everyone else has leapfrogged me. What a miserable point tracking system.

I’ve actually reset back to zero twice on this missle day, probably about 30k in points denied overall.

Has happened before in previous versions too.

1.26.8.2 actually worked fine for me aside from the messed of token intervals. Now that they posted 1.26.9, all crashes. Just gambled and did the update to be in sync, played 1 no crash (yet).

I see the token intervals are fixed, I apparently leapfrogged a few intervals going towards the previous unreachable next step. Post update, got the tokens I would have had if had normally worked.

@joel687. Curious. I’m getting the feeling different leaderboards are having different intervals of token collection. Mine went from 100or150? Tokens at 30k to 200 tokens at 60k. I have no 48k interval.

Still unable to get any scoring increase lol.

Every attempt is the same, my total score doesn’t move. I thought others in my leaderboard were the same as seemed to be no movement for longest time, but 2nd and 3rd place have since leapfrogged me.

The add up results screen after each node seems to show me in a random place with a random pre-node score each time. Has no relation to how much was earned on the node or the ongoing static total.

I’ve already purchased all accessories of interest, sparks. Whatever left over might’ve been dumped in an overpower, so no hearbreaking loss of 1st place on the last day.
