This game will hang if your wifi connection is slow. Although it is fine usually if you on cell phone data even if signal is weaker.

Listen. Eagle Mountain is this game version of AB2 Tower of Fortune. You can loose diamonds faster than you can earn them. Here are some guidelines I use after seeing enough of its AB2 version.

1. Get pig before level 5, don’t continue unless you have the diamond reward amount to pay for the cost to continue.

2. Once you have gained few worthwhile items, quit and collect.

3. Don’t go beyond 3 continue, 4 at most. Unless you are already very high in level, rewards are good. AND you have enough to pay again if pig shows up.

You usually get 1 with all that garbage birds in between, the event bird usually.

For Red it was at 5x before he showed up.

For Capt Freedom, I needed 10x.

For Chuck, 10x again.

For Dr Probonik is another 10x

Cursing to Rovio in silent and on this forum somewhat, irrelevant…. I started hording premium eggs to the limit since the end of Chuck’s event.

For Bomb, I got the shiny edition of Bomb (UGLY imo, a black bird looks blue!!! ) after 10 premium egg, first thing in the morning on 1st login after event starts.

Given the ugly looking shiny bomb I kept using whatever premium ticket the game gave since then. Last night when multiplier at 8x, regular classic plushy looking Bomb showed up. I quickly level him up to 20 and evolved him. Then I put the shiny Bomb (lvl24) into the regular Bomb and made him lvl 34 after. All set.

I had 2 other 5-stars before: Claude + Billy the Blitz. They had became one with the force on Red and Chuck respectively.

Best way is to fuse other birds to the shiny bird. Then fuse the level 20 shiny to the main bird.

Moments ago I got BOMB again at 7x. This time the plain old Bomb as opposed to the shiny version I got at 10 tickets when the event started. I can now have 3 black bird in the team if I so choose, or maybe I will throw the shiny one into the plain one. Tough choice.

Yes it is true that you can get the same special event bird more than once in the event.

Main goal for me in this game: Collect the original 5 angry birds and I have 3 already.

The other birds are just novelty for me. The clan I am in wins all the clan events for the last few weeks.

Got Bomb this morning on 10th premium egg. However I need to boost Bomb up to level 30 or so before he can go into the flock. Dr Probotnik has the poisoning thing, let see what Bomb can do.

What device are you on? Cell phone data or wifi?

 

My experiences: ABE needs good connection to work. At least on my Samsung Galaxy S7 anyway. If I am on cell phone data I am usually fine if I get reception. For wifi I need to be in a good spot in the building or it will give be connection issues.

@sheena-buchan  Your level just give you more health.  What is your power level? What kind of opponent level are you seeing?

I have beaten people that are more powerful than me, not all the time but it can be done. You just have to focus on pushing as many pigs as possible over the centerline.

Never bother to evolve the weak ones, just get them to 20 and feed them to the proper color of the main flock.

I have Dr Probotnik but I am really going after Bomb this weekend. I want him bad as he is the original Angry Birds. Chuck and Red are waiting for him.

You need to grind and sell of almost everything that you don’t need to level up another bird. You need at most 1 dungeon team at a time. Given dungeons are weak in general, even 2 strong and 3 weaks will be more than enough.

 

If you are in the strong clan that stays on top and get prizes in events, then it is all worth it.

I think Rovio should add another number beside the points: # of tries

Those levels are not easy half the time. When it gets hard it is hard to the point that bringing in 5 spells (you can’t bring spells afaik) may not get you through some of them. There is always a room with a structure behind a solid block and a pig at the lowest level that requires some lucky chain reaction.

Play the free one plus 20 gems will be all I likely want to do going forward.

I think you can only play once for free. Of course they want you to pay to try to earn those prizes lol.

 

For that amount of prizes I am not going to break my meager gem account to reply nothing. Continuing a win streak in arena when you are near the top is gems well spent. Finishing King Pig at last room of last level of KPP is gems well spent. Not this clan business so far.

Experience from the real online games in Xbox, cases of “account blocked due to misconduct” are rarely as innocent as the poster claims. Honestly he should has contacted Rovio support without posting on forums.

Problem is those levels are outright tough, borderline impossible even if they allow spells. Unlike regular levels or DC, you have to pay 20 gems to try again and not count against the regular lives.

All that trouble for what? Some feathers that amount to nothing for us veterans. Not paying real $$ to buy gems / spells to get 450 black pearl levels.

 

In AB Evolution, the clan play there is very very rewarding compare to this. The clan battles are tied in with the events and by doing good in the clan you get the main event done easier.

Starting again with a new account will keep everything fresh!!! Imagine times that your bird can go up a level with little bit of feather.
